size wallpaper

I scanned a document which had very small characters in a file on my PC, opened the scanned file and zoom in on the document a great deal to read.  As far as I remember, after reading the paper expanded, I closed the document without zoom, right click on the file of the scanned for the document by e-mail and began to move the cursor down the drop down menu to find the send"" button. While moving down the menu, I must have inadvertently clicked "set as wallpaper", because the scan has replaced the photo that was my desktop wallpaper.  However, the new wallpaper of the scanned document was expanded as well as the entire document does not fit on the bottom...   Not knowing how to remove the scanned document expanded as a background, I searched my photos at the photo that had been my desktop wallpaper and click "set as wallpaper".  The photo became my wallpaper, but it was also greatly expanded, to the point where the subjects on the sides of the picture are not displayed in the bottom of the screen.

Now how again do the picture my background wallpaper, but with the background being the size photo, it was previously?

  • Challenge: What is the background native screen size?

I try the very simple thing to add a new wallpaper. Anyway, screen resolution is 480 x 864, that is, native size wallpaper is 960 x 864. However if I try to use a file *.jpg with these dimensions, the DEFY trying to crop down to something that looks like 640 x 640. Is it the fact that I am using a *.jpg file, or the native background screen display resolution is another?

960 x 854 is the native resolution, but when you set the image you must drag the crop box to capture the entire image. It will not be displayed on the screen completely, because there is room on the left and right of the image.

  • Using a HTML5 Web page as a user interface for Wallpaper app selection

I designed a very simple app that uses HTML5 to create a small site which allows the user to select a thumbnail graphic linked to a jpg size wallpaper to use as, well, wallpaper.

I have downloaded all the files on my Playbook and they load into the browser as expected, and the links work. However, I am unable to 'download' the largeimage in the 'images' folder, so I can put it as wallpaper... it displays but says simply 'done '.

If I try the same method with an image from a site 'good' then it works as expected.

The browser is confused because he's trying to 'download' a picture that is already on board, but in another folder?

I maybe just f ound the answer to my question oewn... put the HTML files in the folder 'download' and not 'documents' and it works.

Hello randy1945, I'm sorry. I forgot a very important step. Trying to recall this memory.

When you get to the screen that displays the three options you mention, click on the background to the right of these options at the bottom of the screen.

This should provide another option to the screen where you can click on the Position of the image. This is where you can change the position of the wallpaper on the screen.

  • How to put a picture of album full size like wallpaper without cropping?

I accidentally hit the "crop image always" instead of the box "crop image only once" when selecting an image in 'Settings - customization - Wallpaper - Home Screen - Album'. Now I don't get the option 'image of harvest only once' more. I discovered that the app settings can be changed under 'Settings/applications/launch default' and choosing "clear Defaults". But I have trouble finding the ringt app. The list is looooong... Anyone?

Try the settings then Apps then press the 3 points then Preferences app Reset however please not what other parameters are also reset so you will need to check the other settings of applications and adjust them accordingly

  • Wrong size of wallpaper pictures

When I try to set up one of my pictures as wallpaper, I receive a very large image, especially for the vertically-oriented pictures. Even more, when I have the mosaic option the resulting image is a photography section, but still wider. It makes no sense at all. In theory, a centered vertical picture should display adjustment on the screen on the vertical axis and let General information on both sides.
    Any ideas?

    Thank you very much

I have a version of Vista Home premium. My screen resolution is 1280 X 800 pixels, true color and 61 Hz.

I managed to reproduce your problem on Vista on an HP all-in-one. This has to do with image resolution. If you take the photo that is more vertical than horizontal and the image is 1.3 to 1.5 meg seems to blow. I think it's because he he resoluition peaking high as 1024 x 768 or something. If you open a picture of lower resolution it correctly or visually it looks right in the center of the screen. It seems that windows does not compensate automatically. If you open the image in paint by right mouse clicking on the thumbnail of the photo using the control panel customizing desktop background and browse to C:\Users\Public\Pictures\Sample pictures and then right click the mouse and then selectr open with paint for example image called flower. It's super high resolution, once in paint, go to image file resize - 50 horizontal value and the vertical value to 50 and save it as blossom_50 of type JPEG. Once you open that up, it will be much closer to what you expect. I know that this is only a workaround and I agree a more permanent solution as an automatic sizing as 'fit to desktop' which could reduce the picture for the entire table would correspond to office. I suspect that the reason is that windows video function is trying to preserve the integrity of the high resolution, as every time you resize it lower it loses one percent of clarity. > Carl

  • How can I adjust the size of the photo as wallpaper on the Iphone?

Hello, I enjoy using good photos as wallpapers for my IPhone. I tried to use the option (except for the web and devices) with no luck. I can't use the right pair, or I do not use this right. I had rather not use a third party thank you for your help!

There are many different sizes of iPhones. You will need to know the pixel w and h for your model.

In a new Photoshop doc, you can take Mobile App Design and use a pre-set, if your model is listed.

I use the size of the site information, when I create my wallpaper: http://dekoapp.com/parallax/

It has not been updated in a few years, but I can say that Apple has not changed the sizes of them since. The size for 6 applies both the 6 s-7 and size for most 6-6 s more and 7 more.

  • wallpaper not Centrez Slatebook 14

Is there a way to center the wallpaper on the home screen, or so that it does not move as you would on a phone?

    Hey @Amie13 ,

Welcome to the forums of HP.

I understand that you have questions about the wallpaper on your Slatebook 14.

The Android operating system changes the image to fit the best possible aspect ratio and size so that the background image works with several home screens. There should be an option to crop the picture to select the area, but this (in my opinion) is far from perfect. However, the lock screen is a fixed resolution, and adjusts the size of the image to a screen.

Your likely Slatebook has a screen 1920 x 1080. For perfect wallpaper, you'll want to use an image that is twice the width and the same height. 3840 x 1080. This will show the exact photo on the Center home screen and a part of the image on other screens.

Here's a great article explaining how it works: what is the problem with the substantive requirements of weird screen Android?

    I hope this helps!

  • Need help with the dimensions of the wallpaper

I'm having trouble with the size of the paper painted. I created a wallpaper of 640 x 480 for a friend who was composed of a glass for each row of icons - so the icons looked like they were sitting on the glass shelves. However, after the wallpaper has been transferred to the phone, the shelves were out of position. I edited the wallpaper to 455 x 320 (height less the area occupied by the notification bar), transferred to the phone and the shelves were in different places, but always out of position.

Some other wallpapers I created include gradients had horrible air once set as the background of the phone. This tells me that the phone is stretching or compressing the wallpapers. I saw that some of the default look wallpapers. Anyone know where I can get copies of the default wallpapers? This could help me with dimensions.

Here's an example: I have attached a background degraded at this post. When I transfer this wallpaper on my phone, I see individual strips of coolor rather than gradual change from blue to black which was intended. If the wallpaper is the exact dimensions required, the gradient effect is expected instead of the bands of color display.

What is the exact size required for the best wallpaper? I've been using 640 x 480, but this isn't the best size.

It seems to be the screen of the Cliq XT, can't get on Vibrant, HD2, or MTS.
