    Hello

The community Skype is for the consumer to Skype instead of Skype for business version, which is a different program. It is for this reason that we recommend to contact Skype for support to the company or, where appropriate, support to Office 365.

    Hope that helps.

  • Skype, causing the audio crash

I narrowed down it to just for Skype. When I get a call, if it is call me and someone answer or I pick up a call, within 10 seconds, my Windows Audio Service crashes. I find the updated driver, Skype version updates, Windows updates. Everything. I started Skype, when a call is picked up, it causes the Audio Service from my Windows to stop working and then Skype crashes. I did nothing to my computer it would probably cause. If any additional info is needed, I would be happy to provide it.

  • Skype on startup, then crashes

I'm frustrated and have no idea why Skype has randomly stopped working. Everything was going well until all of a sudden the program started to panic. Then when I opened it, it is literally stopped responding. I tried to restart and it still doesn't work. I tried to reinstall, and still it would not work. It's extremely frustrating and I want to know what I'm doing wrong.

  • Skype in HTC M8 crash

The application crashes when I try to open it on my phone. When I open it, it shows for a few seconds then leaves the app by itself. Uninstall certain updates has not fixed the problem. Uninstalling the app and install it back also did not work either. Help out me here. I have HTC phone a M8. When you contact HTC support, they said that the problem is with Skype. Not the phone. What can I do?

I've just updated to Skype 5.4.0.5871 from the store of Google play, and the issue seems to be fixed now.

  • Skype will not stop crashing and does not.

Today, I logged on to my computer and launched Skype as usual. Everything was fine until the program has stopped responding. Think nothing of it because it is not a rare ocorance on windows I have just re-opend Skype. Short minute in Skype but still once stopped responding. After this point as soon as I open Skype it would stop responding. I restarted my computer, re-installed skpe and installed the latest version of flash on my system, because I did extensive research in this and that is one of the problems somone had. I would really like to be able to record with my friends and not be stuck using my phone instead of my computer. Also I would like to go out in my taskbar (Image linked and attached) there will be several open skypes both as soon as the error ocours. I don't know if this is relevant, but I'm sespecting it might be. I want to emphasize that the only things that I installed on the system recently is Call Of Duty world at war and Razer Synaps 2.0 if it is a problem of program I want sespect only Synaps if anything.

    • Windows 10

Seems that I found the solution. I did some more care in what I posted. Here's how I solved my problem.

You click the Start button on the bottom of your screen. After that, you should see just above the option to a button called "Settings", click on that. Once you are in the settings, click on 'update & security' on the right at the bottom. Once here, you should see an option on the very botton that says "Advanced Options", click on that. Once here, there is another option that says "Show your histiory update" once you click on it, there will be another option on the very top which is labeled "Uninstall, updates. Once here, you will need to uninstall the update called "KB3132372".

After doing this and looking back in my settings, I noticed that Windows asked me to re - install this update after you saw that I feel not like it is a solution of perminate to this problem, but it will work for me temporalily and possible anyone else having this problem. Hopfully the Skype team can patch this ASAP.

  • Skype crashing on launch

While on my computer yesterday, I opened my Skype to check a message that was sent to me. As soon as I clicked on my Skype window the application crashed, with the window "Skype has stopped working." Since then and every time I tried to launch the application, it show me immediately the window "Skype has stopped working" (even before trying to log in).

  • HTC hd7 Skype app to crash

So, I had a problem with VoIP applications in general, but I want to get this work at least. About a month or two before, I open the Skype application and it crashed about 30 seconds later, then I restarted, same thing, so I just didn't use it for a period of time see if maybe reboot it fix it, it didn't so I reinstalled it, still no dice. So I uninstalled for good and regularly checked the app description to see if they have released an update to fix the crash, as verified the user comments to see if anyone else has reported crash, a few people have said a crash at startup, but they have not yet released an update as far as I know I had after I got 7.5 already installed it, I changed only one parameter of system, and it was not before crashing, so I know I have not done something to make this happen. I use a HTC T8788, im quite lost at this point since no one else has reported this outcome (i googled it) so it would be appreciated if someone knows how to fix this problem, thanks.
    -Joshua

I'm happy to report that I found the fix for this on my own. After further investigation, I confirmed that it was a problem with someone, I had to manually remove half of my contacts one by one and check that if Skype has worked after deleting all of them until he did, after finding the faulty contact, I went to people.live.com and restored all the contacts that I deleted not to mention the one causing a crash. I hope this helps someone of another encounter this problem.
