Slideshow delay

, I was hoping that someone here could help me solve the problem I have with basic slideshow that I Muse. Slide show consists of three images. When I load the page is takes 4 seconds to load the first image in the slideshow. I would like to have this loaded image immediately after the page load. Controls (next and arrow) are on-site. First image and legend appear after 4 seconds. I put 'Auto play' to 4 seconds and unchecked "back after." Please let me know if you have any suggestions how to solve this problem. What must stand as parameters?

Here are my current settings:

Capture.PNG

I would achieve even loading slideshow content as seen on the website: http://www.choosemuse.com/#

What version of Adobe Muse are you on? The latest version is 2015.2.1. Also look at the solution of Zak in this post

Slideshows are very slow loading and sometimes cling to images?

  • Delay on reading of slideshow - needed 5 minutes, but there is a limit of 1 minute.

    I try to get a collection of slide show to idle for 5 minutes and I'm disappointed to see that the upper limit is 60 seconds. I have two loop sequences of images in the slideshow to create the illusion of a video continuously loop (actually a sequence of images) which embarks on the entire screen after 5 minutes. It is a kiosk-type application that will be on ' always - on ' iPads in a store setting.

    The sequence of images was necessary because DPS do not loop video. A sequence of images has no function of late so I put two sequences in the loop of images in the slide show to get the delay function.

    I'm embarrassed my accession to the possibility of a 5 minute delay is a mistake and the need to find a solution.

  • time delay on the slideshow by clicking on the buttons prev next

    I have a slide show with two blades. Each slide is licensed for 5-6 seconds before changing, but when I use the following buttons previous it work well. Somehow it keeps the original timer (autoslide) so when I select 'next', for example 1 second before the transition, and then to the next slide will stay for just a second. So, when I select then it doesn't reset the timer and retains the original timer instead.

    So I want to add a delay when selecting prev next time (or if you have other ideas will be appreciated).

    It's the JS:

    "use strict";

    Slovak var = 1;

    transition var = 1000;

    var slideLength = 2;

    var slideInter = 6000;

    $("li ul .slider: nth-child(" + currentSlide + ")" ") .fadeIn (transition);

    $(".next").click (function () {}

    nextSlide();

    });

    $(".prev").click (function () {}

    prevSlide();

    });

    function nextSlide() {}

    $("li ul .slider: nth-child(" + currentSlide + ")" ") .fadeOut (transition);

    Slovak ++;

    If (Slovak > slideLength) Slovak = 1;

    $("li ul .slider: nth-child(" + currentSlide + ")" ") .fadeIn (transition);

    }

    function prevSlide() {}

    $("li ul .slider: nth-child(" + currentSlide + ")" ") .fadeOut (transition);

    -Slovak;

    If (Slovak, Slovak) 1 = 2;

    $("li ul .slider: nth-child(" + currentSlide + ")" ") .fadeIn (transition);

    }

    var timer = setInterval (nextSlide, slideInter);

    $(".slider").hover (function () {}

    clearInterval (timer);

    }, function () {}

    Timer = setInterval (nextSlide, slideInter);

    });

  • delayed popup

    delayed popup. I design slideshow full screen and you want to display text/image about 3-5 seconds after the start of the slide show. (about 3 slides) Example scroll down / left directions to continue. would he appear low center and center left/right. This is possible in Css or widget. Thank you

    You can use the composition and create a pop-up where auto playback can be configured with time delay, so the recovery time can be configured.

  • Impossible to get redirection page work after jQuery slideshow

    The web site index page uses jQuery and jquery. cycle2 to run a slide show. Once it is I did want to go to a new page, but have failed to operate. In the head meta tags ignore the slide show or do not work. Is it possible to add the page redirect to the cycle jQuery or would it be good idea ot have each image on a page separate and just in front of each of them?

    You can use JQuery delay before the redirection. Count the number of seconds the slide show takes to display all the images then add below in thesection of your page - below is set to 20 seconds

  • Why a slideshow full screen background covers everything else?

    Ciao, I'm building a folio with InDesign CC 2014 on a Mac. I have created pages with the overlay of slideshow in full screen on an iPad, then I added another layer with the text: this should be a text with a shot slide under him. Why the slide show appears like there was something else on the page? the purpose of several State is the only thing that I see and can not see the text above.

    Thanks for helping on this!

    Mauro

    They are called overlays for a reason. They overlay of static content.

    If you want text to appear above the slideshow, convert it to a slideshow as well. Set it to AutoPlay once with no crossfade and no delay.

    Salam Muhammad,

    I think that you can add the accordion:
    http://www.theapexfreelancer.com/Apex/f?p=APEXFREELANCER:solutions:0

    Or

    Maybe you can try this:
    http://slidesjs.com/
    Change the src of the image in the static ID of your reports.
    I'm sure that you know how to use this slider in APEX. However, you can find it here.

  • Bumps and accuse drag on a page of the slideshow.

    Hello

    Sorry for my English. I'm a Brazilian designer and I develop folios for iPad.  I met a problem when using overlays of slideshow on my folios.

    Each page with an active MSO slide show slide well. Sometimes it sticks to finger movement, but bounces back to the page of the slideshow. Sometimes, he accuses a delay and bumps of the transition and never turns the page.

    I noticed that this happens only the first scan after I enter the article. Then he turns the page naturally the second sweep. When I sweep out of the article and come back to the issue article, it happens again: the first shot goes down and the others are not.

    Tested on happy viewer for iPad on the iPad 2 and 3.

    I would like to know if it's only a viewer problem - and folio will perform well when published - or if there is no work around for this problem. Otherwise, I'll have some work avoiding overlays of slide show.

    I already tried to change the names of the layers and States of the object - get rid of spaces and numbers, as I saw it on some forum posts. Tried different types of content (such as images, vectors, nested overlays). and apparently not having something to do with the content of ASM. Disable all options of creator of overlay that actually activate the slide show (automatic playback, tap for reading / pause, change) makes the problem disappeared.

    If it is a real bug, could someone help me it reports? Do not know if a post on the forum serves as a bug report.

    Thanks in advance.

    Is your article PDF format? If so, this is a known issue. You can work around it by turning off the "Enable PDF zoom" setting when you build your custom in DPS App Builder application (it's in the settings App > section show Advanced Options). Or you can create your article in PNG.

  • Slideshow of issues with a variable time for each photo

    Hi all

    I migrated from AS1 to AS3 and the boy, a lot has changed...

    In any case, to learn and understand AS3, I'm editing a slide show that I found through thetechlabs. I want to play SWF and JPG. These files are transmitted via an XML file. I added an element called < delaytime > in the XML file, which replaces the time that a photo is displayed in the slide show.

    I changed the function onSlideFadeIn() as follows:

    function onSlideFadeIn():void {
         slideTimer.removeEventListener(TimerEvent.TIMER, nextSlide);
         slideTimer = new Timer(xmlSlideshow..file[intCurrentSlide].@time);
         slideTimer.addEventListener(TimerEvent.TIMER, nextSlide);
         if(bolPlaying && !slideTimer.running)
         slideTimer.start();
    }

    However, when I run it, I get this error message:

    ## [Tweener] Error: [object Sprite] raised an error while executing the 'onComplete'handler.
    TypeError: Error #1010: A term is undefined and has no properties.
    at slideshow_fla::MainTimeline/onSlideFadeIn()
    at Function/http://adobe.com/AS3/2006/builtin::apply()
    at caurina.transitions::Tweener$/::updateTweenByIndex()
    at caurina.transitions::Tweener$/::updateTweens()
    at caurina.transitions::Tweener$/onEnterFrame()

    It stops at the first photo of my slide show. When I push the 'next' button, it displays the next picture, but I get the same error message again.

    When I comment out this line:

    slideTimer = new Timer(xmlSlideshow..file[intCurrentSlide].@time);

    the slideshow works OK, but without the delaytime specified in the XML file.

    I'm lost here, what am I missing?

    Any help to get back on track is much appreciated!

    Thanks in advance, broadband

    Dirk

  • animated slideshow?

    I ve got my animations to work, but now the I m of trouble through a series (plus two) States.

    I guess this would be a sequence of actions? Help, please. I just want to make a simple slideshow of images of 3 or more.

    Thank you!

    Gabriela

    Hi Gabriela,

    The original ZIP opens ok on my computer, but here is one again, just in case.  Keep in mind that you can not open this file directly in Flash Catalyst - you need to open the ZIP file on your desktop and copy on the. FXP file it contains, and then open the file that in Catalyst.

    Your last email, looks like you got the idea base of how to do it though.

    Re length: there is no limitation... the length of timeline, you can see zoomed all it is limited by the width of your screen, but you can move the timeline of actions even further out in time by using the delay setting in the Panel properties.

    Re into greater navigation: I'm not 100% sure what problem you are having, but one thing that is difficult is that there is no way to stop a sequence of actions as soon as it is being read.  If you hide the slideshow when the user navigates elsewhere, he will continue to play while invisible - but which does not seem a big deal.  If you want the slide show to stay visible, but stop animation when the user navigates elsewhere, this is where it gets interesting.  I would like to know if that's what you need to do - there are a few tricks that might help in this case.

  • delay delay and cancellation

    Hello

    I have some difficulty to delay key frames simple keyframe in flash.

    I do a slideshow of the 5 slide to 5 images. Each image should last about 4000ms, even if it's flexible.
    BUT the time 4000ms must be reset when you press a button.

    There are 5 buttons on the slide show is allowing a user to return to a previous slide or jump to come without having to wait.

    However, the button when a user click on Toggle frame but does not reset the deadline on the previous keyframe. So the slide show everything not synchronized until she a few flashes of different slides several times. I tried what I consider everything, but as I am a novice I could do with the help of a pro.

    The other problem I have which goes hand in hand with the preceding is that I need to pause and then resume when the mouse over and out of a particular area, that is a button for the sequence. But I tried rolling stop implementation and in slowing play wtc (I know that syntax is bad, but I used the correct in the fla file) Needless to say that it does not work.

    I downloaded the FLA for here in case it helps: http://manage.merrions.com/slideshow.zip

    I have attached the function I use to delay each image.

    Thanks in advance

    and also it resets after a deployment on the button
    stopInterval()
    myInterval = setInterval (checkWait, 6000)
    }

    This ensures that the old interval is disabled when you click on one of the numbered buttons. Seems to work fine now.

    Regarding the alpha transition, it's a piece of cake with the Tween class: http://www.actionscript.org/resources/articles/170/1/Flash-MX-2004-Undocumented-TweenEasin g-Classes-documented/Page1.html

    I made a new movieclip called loading which is just a copy of your clip of ImageHolder with static text that says loading. Put it on the stage and name the instance of loading.

    Then just change your conditional on frame 1 to:
    {if(!myInterval)}
    var alphaState:Boolean = false
    Loading._alpha = 0
    Create a var intervalID and call a function to assign
    var myInterval:Number
    resetInterval()
    }

    and just below that you need this:
    doTween()
    function doTween (): Void {}
    aTween.stop)
    aTween = new mx.transitions.Tween (loading, "_alpha", mx.transitions.easing.Strong.easeOut, Loading._alpha, 100, 0.25, true)
    aTween.onMotionFinished = function() {}
    alphaState =! alphaState
    {if (alphaState)}
    This.yoyo)
    }
    }
    }

    Then, on 2-5 frames, paste this line:
    doTween()

    And there you have a basic transition that you can dress however you want.

    After watching this file which allows me to anticipate work on my portfolio;), I edited it down to a more reasonable arrangement. If you send me a different private message with your email address, I can send along...

    I hope this helps! :)

  • In the PHOTOS, slideshows exports do not work with the chosen music

    In El Capitan PICTURES

    I choose music from my iTunes library and add it to my slide shows

    but then my PHOTOS-slideshows do not export with the selected music:

    only the pictures will export as a slideshow, but without the music library.

    What can I do to fix this?

    Jona li

    How do you export the slideshow? You create a slideshow project with "file > new slide show ' and then use the export button in the toolbar to export the slideshow?  Or have you used an instant slide show playing an album as a slide show.

  • Possible to delay the login items?

    Implementation of Adobe to open the connection software has created more problems than it is worth. I use Photoshop, Bridge, first and every day hearing as part of the same project, all related. I thought I would put them in place to open the connection, to save time.

    However, the location of the Cache for all download and also the folder for my Google Backup Drive, on an external drive, and if it is not present when the software tries to open, things go haywire.

    Is it possible to delay the opening of the connection points, by, say, 10 seconds?

    No, it's on or off only, there may be a 3rd party app that can do it, but you will need to check the app store.
