Slow rate pass on 5 GHz Band [e3200 + macbook pro osx 10.7.3]
Ok...
Just got the e3200 dual band about a month ago and today he just started in place.
The 5 GHz band has a bit rate of about 25% of what makes the 2.4 ghz band. It's funny, because 5 GHz is supposedly less interference to treat.
I thought it was a problem with osx, so I upgraded to 10.7.3, but always with the same result. Then I played a bit with the different settings, but always the same results. I gave and got on a chat session with the support that brought me to Flash the e3200 with the firmware file, reset and reconfigure. Guess what... 5 GHz still slow.
Someone at - it suggestions? I've tried everything under the Sun - software/firmware is all current, no major obstacles blocking the router, tried them all not mixed Firewall [-n] has, power modes, different bands... am I missing something?
Any help would be appreciated before going it one out of warranty.

I know that other users say that the 5 GHz band is weird then call Cisco would probably be your best option. Generally, if there is a real problem, you'll have a case manager who will work with you to get a replacement, see if the issue must be examined, etc..

I bought a MacBook Pro in April 2016. It came bundled with Keynote, pages, Numbers, and garage Band. I have all the used with success, until today, when I go to use the applications are no longer on my mac. If I go to the app store, I can buy them - but it won't let me download them without making a purchase? I can use online - but only in beta and in the cases where I'm not online, then this isn't a solution. So now, I have a MBP which is only any use to surf the web?

Mid 2012 Macbook Pro with or without retinal incredibly slow
Hello, I'm typing this for my mother. It has a mid-2012 Macbook pro without the retina which is very slow. She has recently updated to 16 GB of ram, and we are all pretty sure she did her properly. R7500 stuck to the network mode b/g on the 2.4 Ghz band
Using the Wifi Explorer on Mac, I see that my Netgear R7500 uses the network b/g on the 2.4 Ghz band Mode and is limited to a maximum rate of 54 Mbps - even if the Mode in the router configs setting lists b/g/n - as I see wifi weak performance on this channel. Sure it wasn't always like that. Amy ideas which could force the lower speed?

The frequency of Wlan depending on the WLan card.
I think that the laptop was equipped with WLan RTL8723AE Realtek card that supports the 802.11 standard B / G / N standard5 GHz is only available using 802.11 A or N
802.11 N standard works on 2.4 Ghz and 5 GHz but 5 GHz is available ONLY if the WLan card would support additional one 802.11 standard; That is to say 802.11 A / N.
But Realtek RTL8723AE doesn t support 802.11 has and therefore the 5 GHz are not possible for this WLan module.

How to connect printer 2.4 Ghz band dual band Airport Extreme?
I need a new printer connect to my Imac running OS 10.7.5 wirelessly. My router is multiband Airport Extreme. Most printers seem to does not support multi-band wireless; they can't stand the 2.4 Ghz band. Is there some document printers (I need scanning and copy also) which will be easily connected to the Airport Extreme multi-band, or is it possible I can put the Airport Extreme for a printer would only watch the band 2.4 Ghz?
I found something on Google that says wireless devices should be filled, by disabling the Wlan partition. I don't know what that means. Another article said I could name the SSID separately and connect the printer to the 2.4 Ghz band. Even when I don't know what that means. Can you help me? I do not know the printer Canon MG 5720 I bought does not work and I need to just throw it out. I want to not to make another mistake.

On your Mac...
Open Finder > Applications > utilities > AirPort Utility
Click on the image of The AirPort Extreme
Click Edit in the window that appears
Click on the Wireless tab at the top of the next window
Click on the button Options Wireless at the bottom of the next window
Click to enter a check mark in the name of 5 GHz box
Click Save
Click Update at the bottom right of the next window and give the airport a minute full for restart
The name of your normal wireless network is now a 2.4 GHz signal only. The other wireless network has "5 GHz" appended to the name, so it's 5 GHz network
Connect the printer to the 2.4 GHz network
The name of '5 GHz' added now is the network of 5 GHz. connect devices in this band for a faster connection.

A Capsule of 2009 may or may not be a simultaneous dual-band model. To find out what exactly what you might have, please look on the bottom of the time Capsule to locate the model number. Probably, it is integrated in the base of carpet of MOSS.
The model number starts with an 'A' follow-up of four digits. Post back with number and we will continue.

Apparently the Qosmio X 500 - 11U is provided with a 802.11n WLAN adapt, so I bought a 802.11n router, using the strip of the 5 Ghz. Unfortunately the build WLAN adapter supports ONLY the 2.4 Ghz band.

Unable to connect to the 2.4 GHz band.
iPhone says incorrect password, even though I'm 100% sure that it is correct. I did try to reset the TC, also reset my network settings in my iPhone but it didn't work. The iPhone connects fine to the 5 GHz band, but not for 2,4 GHz! I also tried power cycling across the network (modem, TC and also hard reset iPhone). The password is simple and contains no symbols or other unusual things.

Just installed a Linksys N750 (EA3500) router (WAN - LAN Configuration).
I have set the two broadband networks: 2.4 Ghz and 5 GHz with different SSID and different WAP/WAP2 staff mixt.
While some devices display correctly the two networks, I am facing problems with the 5 GHz band and wonder if it's the breath of some sort of failure:
-My iPad offered the two signals and allow me to define the 5 Ghz band, but it is showing the weak signals and stall when loading Web pages; as soon as I put it instead on the 2.4 Ghz band, (standing at the same place, of course), what's up, excellent signal.
-J' have a Mac Mini and the location of the PS3 side by side. The Mac Mini seems to work perfectly in both bands, 2.4 or 5 - excellent signal. However, the PS3 has failed his test of connection and indicates that the signal is not noticeable on the 5 GHz. But connect as a wink on the 2.4 Ghz band.
-Got on and off voltage signal of 5 GHz on a laptop; connected to 2.4 Ghz, everything works perfectly.
-iPhone 4s: I can't even see the SSID of 5 GHz, but I get the 2.4 so Guess account...
So I'm tempted to conclude that some devices can not just keep up (?) to connect on 5 GHz... But... a PS3? ... Huumm... (but true: PS3 came out in 2006...)
No logic to this?

There are devices just wireless which are not turned on or is not compatible to work with a network of Ghz band. The WiFi feature may not be up-to-date or limited to only work with a network of 2.4 Ghz. In your case, you might want to check with Sony so PS3 can be updated to work with a network of 5 GHz.

Independent 5 GHz band Aironet 1041
Hello
I do a base installation of X 8 of 1041.
All devices must connect to the 5 GHz band.
The specification of the 1041 says its supports 802.11 a/b/g/n on the 2.4 Ghz + 5 Ghz band.
When you configure the 1041 I see only the options related to the 2.4 Ghz band, I see nothing of 5 GHz.
Am I missing something really simple here, how to activate the 5 GHz band?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the model you need to see if maybe it has 2.4 ghz only. You can also make a worm see check it.

I use AirPlay to get streaming football online (from the Australia, is not available outside the internet streaming via browser) my MacBook Pro (via the wifi of 5 MHz) to my Apple TV and then (via HDMI) to my TV big screen. When the action on screen is fast (i.e. 90% + screen redesigned between the ribs), it becomes very bad on the TV due to the loss of images: according to my estimate, it falls to 3 images per second. The frame rate video of MacBook Pro is much better and watchable, is not a streaming problem, but a problem of airtime. I'm using the latest Mac OS, not sure of the Apple TV. How can I improve the frequency of images on the big screen?
- Restart the Apple TV (settings > general > restart).
- Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL cables for 30 seconds.
- Restart your router. (Also try to remove the power cord for at least 30 seconds)
- Restart your computer.
If you're still having problems, try disabling bluetooth, if it is enabled, also try to use 802.11n for wifi if you are currently using 802. 11B or 802. 11 g. You can also try to remove any other software associated with the screen sharing or streaming to remote screens that you may have installed at one time.

For awhile, my Mac is really slow. It takes about 2 minutes to start, apps are returned for e period very extended before the launching and execution is really slow at all. I reinstalled the OS El Capitan several times, but it's not help. The SMC thing has also been reset. Rid the MBP of the torrent application. It has an excellent vehicle to introduce malicious software on a Mac.
Start the recovery partition and select in menu 4 disk utility. Run disk utility > first aid > repair.

Hello! Can anyone help me in this state of EtreCheck to understand what I need to do to improve performance with my MacBook Pro? The computer is slow to respond after the computer starts.
