SM30-304 drivers without wireless/WiFi

I recently had problems to connect my laptop SM30-304 (number PSM30E-0QKJ1-5U) for my home wireless network that uses the PSK security. The router is Netgear and I am running Windows XP Home SP2.

The network is visible, but when I try to connect, Windows does not ask me to enter the password for the network and refuses to acquire an IP address from the router. The drivers for the adapter network since 2003 and only date not supported PSK security?

I downloaded the latest WiFi drivers at the following address: http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/product_page.jsp?service=UK&PRODUCT_ID=77064
However to try to install, an error pops up claiming that they are bad for the card?

I don't know where to go from here, because I do not know THAT WEP will be usable in this case. Do I have the right drivers for the device or is there another problem?

Thank you

Hello

In my opinion the problem is something else. If your WLAN is visible that shows this card WiFi works well. If you cannot connect to your local WLAN is because of parameters.

Try to remove WLAN protecting for a short period and see if you can use it in this case.

I have a new Mac Pro... and I also connected to a router (modem) comcast wireless... I bought a time capsule from the airport. Are they compatible? Should I have them both?

When you say that comcast I presume it is the router modem cable or fiber (DSL)?

    Anyway your TC is compatible...

You need both... TC has no modem... If you must continue to run the Comcast modem and I would recommend that you do not touch... let it run like it's...

Connect the WAN port on the TC in the Comcast router LAN port...

Just to be clear, the answer to your title is no. a very solid no deeply upsetting. You cannot connect TC to Comcast wifi... you need to connect by ethernet... This is the one and only way... and you cannot disconnect the ethernet after connection... it should stay like this...

If there is a problem, there are solutions... As adapters EOP or a second terminal airport. Tell us if you want this specific info.

Open the airport on your Mac utility (or use iOS version is often more reliable) and configure the TC... It is almost entirely automatic... but if you are unsure, we can help you...

You start the installation wizard by clicking on other WiFi devices (1) in the upper left corner.

First of all, thank you for the Nice fellow who took the time to answer.

After several hours with HP support, we have reloaded windows as a last resort.

This fixed the problem of wireless-N with the ralink wireless card.

I have created the restore point, applied updates (windows update) via the hp support assistant.

Eventially has all the recommended updates and ended with several update option.

Load the update of Microsoft as an option for ralink (975 k no id #), he again DEFEATED Wireless-n.

Also, no way to uninstall from the Programs window.

  • Without private WIFI network Apple Airprint wireless printing

    Dear Sir.

    I have a printer Deskjet 3050 has j611

a the purpose I bought the printer for:

Printing from my Ipad ndo directly using Airprint option Iphone

But I am facing problem, that:

I run the printer and find the WIFI on my Iphone I find it and select, then print normally

But after restarting the printer on that I can't find the printer again on my search WIFI the I phone

I do restore default values, and then search for, I think it's still once and print, restart the printer cannot see in the search and so on

I have read the terms of the Airprint option, I found that it is must be a private wireless network and printer and the I phone connected to this network

I wonder if I can print from Iphone to the printer directly without private WIFI?

and if not available-why I can do this after each restore to the default settings.

Direct wireless stays on even once you restart the printer, so you should be good to go.

    Help!

    Hello

You can use the USB stick Bluetooth and if the configuration is just to avoid any problems. Please check if Toshiba Bluetooth stack is already installed on your device. If so you can use it for the Bluetooth connection.

I use the WIFI and Bluetooth on my Tecra and it works perfectly. Use of Bluetooth has no influence on the WIFI connection and you can continue to use it.

  • Internet does not work on Windows 7, no drivers for the Wifi and LAN

    Original title: Windows 7

I used to have Windows 8 on my laptop. Well, so I've updated for Windows 10. Config my laptop wasn't as good, so it's slow. Recently, I installed Windows 7 (as it is known for the performance) somehow, the internet does not work. Missing the drivers for the wifi and lan. What should I do?

Well, as my readers usb and touch screen no longer work.

You have installed Windows 7 on a machine that is preinstalled with Windows 8, without checking first if the computer manufacturer supported and provided Windows 7 drivers for it.

If does not support or provide Windows 7 drivers for this, you should never have installed Windows 7 on this computer Windows 8 and we cannot help you.

    Reinstall Windows 8.

  • Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN with Inspiron 1525 problems

I have Inspiron 1525 + 8.1 Windows + Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN (Intel last driver for Windows 8). If I set the off mode N card wifi, wifi is more slow (54 Mbit/s), but stable. If I turn N (enable) mode, wifi is fast 144 Mbps, but becomes unstable - often (few minutes) disconnects, the disconnection of the card shows a lack of drivers, you cannot reconnect to the router, you must restart your computer. Another computer - Dell Studio with pre-installed map 5100 is stable under the N on my home network. Dell officially submitted the 4965AGN card is compatible for Inspiron 1525. Is it possible for stable operation in N mode?

My new Toshiba has a WiFi switch above the F keys, although I do not know which varies

  • Satellite L750 Wireless wifi off after recovering mode standby

I put wireless connected automatically in "manage wireless networks", however, after Windows starts, I can see the computer is trying to connect for a few seconds, then a red cross click on top of the wireless icon. I have to press Fn + F8 once (cards Flash showing Wireless WIFI is on) to activate ' on > Off ", and then again to" Off > on ' to connect to your home WIFI network. In addition, the wireless light is always disabled when the wireless network is connected because I could access the Internet.

And if I don't do the trick to turn off then put on, the diagnosis function network could never solve the problem.

Can you give me an idea to solve this annoying problem of having to press Fn + F8 several times?

    See you soon

    Andy

    Hello

In my case the WiFi network is always enabled, if previously I have activated the WLan using FN + F8 option.
So it s not known to me why you use this combination once more, if the WiFi network has been activated in the first step.

However, an update of the WLan driver might solve this problem
Check the latest Wlan driver for your WLan card from this page:

  • Satellite P100-429: Intel Wireless Wifi Link 4965agn card is not compatible?

    Hey guys

I have a Satellite P100-429 with a 3965abg to intel, I have a few router purchased months ago Netgear wnr834b n project, then think, it is high time, I upgraded my internal adapter.

I wanted to know if the Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN adapter would fit that is a right with the 3965 swap, as it says it's connection is Mini PCIe card * and I have no idea if it would fit?

    Hello

Yes, she should go, because the W-LAN-mini-card slot is a PCI-Express, so you'll just have to swap the cards. But be careful with the antenna connections, if you bend them too so they break very quickly and then there is NO WAY back and you will pay for the exchange of
the whole cover, where are the antennas of screen.

Best is to contact a local service partner if they exchanged, you don t therefore the risk for the guarantee void if you do something 'not very good' on your machine. :)

    Welcome them

    Hello!
I made a goof my wireless configuration to try to resolve a bad connection to the local network at home.  This response of Amnah_95 solved problem by following the instructions and a reboot.  Thanks Amnah_95.
I think you've got the third-party software installed on your laptop to configure the wireless adapter. Third-party software seems to have disabled the Wireless Zero Configuration (WZC) Microsoft service. You will need to reactivate it.

Follow the steps below to activate the automatic configuration on your laptop.

    1. Click Start, click Run, type % SystemRoot%\system32\services.msc/s, and then click OK.

    2. double-click on Wireless Zero Configuration.

    3. in the startup type list, click Automatic, and then clickApply.

    4. in the Service status area, click Start, and then click OK.

Software configuration of certain wireless adapters removes the automatic configuration service. If this is the case, you can try this fix by changing the registry value.

WARNING: Editing the registry can be dangerous, use it at your own risk.

    1. click on start - run and type reg. And then click OK.

    2. browse this registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE es\WZCSVC

    3. next, create a DWORD value and name it 'Start' and set it to 2.
