  We have internal video conference server, users participate in the VC from outside of the network, it works I've done port forwarding on the NSA-4600 on port 443 and it works perfectly fine, but now I've implemented SRA-4600 and configure users and bookmarks.

  now, users get the SRA login page, after putting it qualifications they obtained the bookmark of this video conference server, but when users click on this bookmark, they aren't able to do video conference and got a NSXMLParserErrorDomain error. I tried everything but still I get this error, any body tell me how I can fix this problem.

  Therefore the SRA only support some applications for the http/https bookmarks.

  When you create the bookmark, it displays a list of web applications support:

  Note: HTTP & HTTPS bookmarks have been tested and verified to support the following web applications:

  • 2013 Microsoft Outlook Web Access, Outlook Web Access 2010 and Outlook Web Access 2007.
  • Windows Sharepoint 2007 and Windows Sharepoint Services 3.0.
    Please note that integrated customer of Sharepoint features are not supported.
  • Lotus Domino Web Access 8.0.1, 8.5.1 and 8.5.2
  • Novell Groupwise Web Access 7.0

  This does not mean that a custom web application does not work... it may work, but we have not tested and there could be a variety of problems.

  In your case, its obviously not going to work.

  Your best bet would be to set up a portal unloading application.

• SRA 4600 - users to limit who can connect to the VPN

  We have a SRA 4600 and wishes to restrict access to the VPN to only a handful of our users active directory.  that is when they visit the Web page for the SRA and try to logon, once that they connection they told you they have VPN access.  That, or else they are simply limited to be able to open a session.

  How we would accomplish this?

  Since you are using AD, you can create local groups on your device and then restrict access to specific ad groups.  The way I work is that a domain has several groups assigned to him, and whenever someone logs in, they show some bookmarks are in the group that they have access to (Yes, it works if you are in more than one group).

  If you don't want people to connect at all, make sure that they are not member of the ad groups that access.

  You can find the setting under user-> groups-> Edit-> ad groups.  This tab appears only if the group is assigned to an AD domain (under portals-> fields).

  NetExtender may be restricted in the same way - just make it is available only for groups you want to have.

• SRA 4600 death?

  I connected and applied the latest firmware for my 4600 SRA correct shellshock vulnerability, I hit the reset button and the device is in offline mode. The device is remote, so I asked someone on the spot, no LED on power, test or alarm but network ports they have lights on them. I try the reset button on the unit, but he won't return. The unit is in brick?

  Please contact Dell SonicWALL support. Looks like a hardware problem.

• SRA 4600 Web Application Firewall blocks access to the Portal login page.

  We have a 8.0.0.1 - 16 4600 running and run the Web Application Firewall.  We had a few reports of users home that our portal page was not available, only tried IE, but everything went well here.  Today we had an internal machine with the same question and noticed that it was blocking WAF access: "threat of avoided WAF: Injection SQL 1 attack" you can see nothing wrong with this machine that may be cause the WAF to block the Portal login page.  Here are the event log:

• SRA 4200 for import of 4600 SRA parameters?

  Have a HA of SRA4200s set behind a HA of NSA3500s together as a single arm on DMZ mode. Looking to replace the with the new SRA4600s securities regulators. Is the settings of export / import supported 4200 to 4600? Could not find a relevant article on this (must admit - my searchfoo is not terrible).

  It may probably not documented, but you should be able to import your settings SRA 4200 successfully in your device SRA 4600

  I see an update recently released for the SRA4600, there will be an update 8.1 for the SRA4200?

  We have a 4600, but prefer to test new construction on a 4200 spare part we have for backup purposes.

  We will not publish 8.1 patches for SRA 4200 and 1200 SRA. These products are already in limited Mode of retirement [https://support.software.dell.com/essentials/sonicwall-product-lifecycle-tables]. We will continue to release 8.0 fixes to resolve critical bugs and security patches up to the end of the media (01/04/2016). 8.0.0.4 is likely to be released soon for SRA 4200 and 1200. Please stay tuned.

  For SRA 4600/1600 / Virtual Appliance, 8.1.0.0 - 10sv has been published on MySonicWALL under "early release". Clients running a firmware 8.0 are recommended to upgrade to this version.

• Favorite FTP on SRA Firmware 8.0.0.0 - 14sv

  I just applied firmware 8.0.0.0 - 14sv to our SRA-4600 unit, and most of the time that's all works perfectly.  The HTML5 improvements are much appreciated!  (I'm hoping to be able to completely abandon Java soon).  However, I have noticed a little problem...

  For a few bookmarks FTP, we use, even if I type the address of the server in which creation of the bookmark, all fields are empty when they're clicked on the senses, users must manually type in the address of the server.  This occurs regardless of whether or not the user is allowed to change the bookmark.

  Also, are there plans to add support for SFTP bookmarks in a future update?  Ideally, I would have only one port 22 open on these servers.

  If you configure the user name and password to access the FTP directory on the bookmark, it should open automatically in this directory.

  If the name of user and password is not configured, then he doesn't know where to go so that it opens a generic blank page.

  The username determines the location of the directory.

• HP ProDesk 400 G1: Error updating Intel Graphics HD 4600

  First Post. Hello, all.  For the last 5 days at the stop, I received, update 1, 1 to ensure that up-to-date driver "driver Intel Corporation update for Intel HD 4600 graphics card". It doesn't have every day. I did not notice problems during normal daily operation.  It is only to stop the 1, 1 update is attempted. I have not tried a manual request for a download assuming that it generates the same result. I have not updated to Windows 10 and have disabled the attempts to do so. Any suggestion is appreciated.

  I had this same problem recently with Win 10.  I have just go into Windows Update and remove the update.  He'll be back sooner or later and install, but in the meantime I don't get a request to install it.  This could give a try to see what is happening.

• Satellite 1800-400 does not start, or crashes after upgrading RAM

  I have the original configuration of RAM for the S1800-400 with 120 MB. I bought a 256 MB RAM with the following description: EXT256-3069/JR, MEM 256 MB RA Toshiba Satellite PRO 4600 series C650, PIII-7500/750/800 #PA3069U (I think the brand is Transcend).

  When I put this slot in the machine, keeping the original and start the computer, it does not start, either on the initial screen of freezing before downloading anything either or that goes to the screen where you can start it in safe mode, but then it does not start.

  I removed the new RAM and it works well again.

  What can be the problem:

  (1) is this new RAM is not compatible with the computer? Based on the selections of the internet service provider, it should be (it's a Portuguese company with their own memory configuration options).

  (2) the computer can work with the original 120Mo and the new 256 MB, or should it be both the same size/brand?

  (3) is there any other problem that I don't have?

  I agree with feliks.
  The module is not compatible and not taken in charge can be responsible for your problem.
  The best way is to use the Toshiba recommended of the memory modules.

  My old hard drive on my Dell Dimension 4600 (2004 512 MB 400 mhz Pentium 4 2.8 GHz processor) is about to die and I would replace it with a 250 gb, the old man is a 80 GB... I use a box of HDD to move/save files.   You want to spend less than $100.

  I need advice on good climbs. I intend to get a new video card and I'm having a hard time to choose one that fits. I currently have a 64 mb Gainward (agp).   Personally I would not recommend to card AGP EVERYTHING because of the AGP is SOOO OLD.

  This isn't a screamer by any stretch of the imagination.  For games, I would recommend the Radeon 4650 but that requires an upgrade of the power supply.

  HOWEVER AGP cards are VERY VERY OLD.  You would be better off investing in a $620 99 Optiplex Tower and get a single slot PCI-E Radeon 6670 Videcard.

  I was wondering if any body could tell me if this ram will be compatible with my dell dimension 4600. I don't know if it's the bus 533 mhz or 800 mhz bus. And for future reference are there other things I have to worry otherwise that: ram speed, pin #of, density of ram? I heard that circuits firmware sometimes match even if I have all of these listed settings match.

  I did dig a little deeper on eBay and I found applications in ram of 4 GB 400 mhz Intel compatible low density for a low $ 20 s. Should I be ignoring these claims?

  Possible, with eBay is a case of buyer beware, before you buy the memory, better know what the seller return policies.

  If you want Siera you will need a new Mac, but you can continue to use the old one as long as you want.
