  Rather than crop the photo... try to resize the photo...

  In Windows Live Photo Gallery... Right click on one or more
  selected inches... Choose... "Resize" in the menu. Choose
  one size, navigate to a folder to save in left click the ' resize
  Save "button. (I suggest that you save the resized pictures
  in a new folder to prevent the replacement (replacement) the originals)

  I use to have an icon to makke print them and smaller photos on my computer.   For some reason any whenever I touch the mouse, the photos and images right screen get more and I have no control over it now it seems.  They are so great, now I can't read half of the info. or play my games.  I tried to go to the viewing area and clicking on the smaller, but nothing changes.  I hope you can help.  Thank you.

  Try to use the wheel on your mouse and hold down the CTRL key on the keyboard.
  It is an easy way to increase/decrease the size of the images and text on your screen.

  Are you already using iCloud photo library or you want to turn your photo into a photo library of iCloud library?

  To save storage on your Mac, select iCloud in the pictures library > Preferences > iCloud. also turn on "Optimize Mac Storage" in this Panel.

  Photos will replace originals in your library of optimized versions. But this process is dynamic. If you are short on storage, it will replace original more optimized versions. So, it will take some time, until your photo library becomes smaller. You cannot influence this process.

  A way to shrink the photo library immediately, is radical enough: wait until the first download of your photos is complete and all the pictures are on iCloud.  Make a current backup of your photo library by copying to an external drive.

  Then delete the photo library on your internal drive. Launch photos while holding down the key options and create a new empty library. This library in your system photo library and activate iCloud photo library with optimization of the storage.

  Now, all your photos will download as optimized versions and the library will be much smaller from the start.  However, it has some drawbacks.  Thumbnails of faces will be lost, also all of your projects. It will be like using your iCloud library another computer: use Photos and photo library on several Macs - Apple Support iCloud

  I've migrated just my iPhoto for pictures library. He created a new photo library, but it is quite a bit smaller than the migrated iPhotos library. This concerned me. According to Finder, the old library of iPhotos is 105 GB and the new photo library is 90 GB, for a difference of 15 GB. I read in a few places online that said that two libraries should be about the same size. However, I opened the two libraries in their respective applications and did a 'get info' check, and they say they have the same number of photos, videos, size of storage and date range (3870 photos, 658 videos, 84 gb, from date date X). What is the cause of this difference between the two libraries 15 GB Finder?

  He could have a big iPod photo in your iPhoto library cache, if synchronize you with iTunes library.  See this link:

  Try settings-applications-all, go to the contacts and messages, force stop and erase the data for both. Make sure that you have a backup from before. Turn it back on.

  ·         You want to re-resize-la in smaller dimensions, or change the size of the file?

  Try following these steps and see if it helps

  (a) right click Open the image in Paint

  (b) select 'Image '.

  (c) "stretch/tilt.

  (d) under "Stretch" change "Horizontal" and "Vertical" percentages in the desired amounts, make sure that the game of numbers or the image will deform.

  (e) save the image

  NOTE: Opening just a picture with paint from a digital camera or other source device and saving it, any changes made, will often reduce the file size without changing the picture somehow.

  All my video files in "downloads" and my coral vista documents, all have the wmv ball where the miniature preview pic is supposed to be.  I know there is a simple way to change this to show action on the icons and not the wmv bubbles photos.  Can someone give me a procedure step by step on how to do it.  "Downloads" are in a folder, not a library, btw.

  Photo library of iCloud will synchronize the full library of Photos.   If you remove a photo from the library on a device, it will be removed from all libraries in snced on other devices.

  One way to synchronize on a selective basis would be to have more than one library of Photos on the MacBook. A library of synchronization iCloud Wavec with only the photos you want on your iPhone.  And a library with other photos that you don't want in iCloud.  See this help page on the use of several libraries: https://help.apple.com/photos/mac/1.0/?lang=en#/pht6d60b524

  Another approach would be to use "Optimize storage" on the iPhone.  Then the photos will be optimized smaller photos on the iPhone store and more pictures will be fit.

  I use a computer from Dell using Windows 8.1 desktop 64-bit.  Printer is HP Photosmart all-in-one 7525.  The software is Microsoft Picture Manager.   I want to print a photo .jpg of MS Picture Manager for paper photo 4 x 6 I have loaded in the photo printer paper tray.  The problem is that printing is still trying to main paper tray in the printer.  Remove all paper from the main tray just causes the print operation to not to say that the main paper tray is in the paper.    If the main tray contains plain paper, the photo printed on this paper.  I have the printer set up to use the photo tray.  I select HP 4 x 6 paper in MS Picture Manager and also set Picture Manager to the highest print quality.  But no mater what I tried, the printer selects tray to main paper rather than the smaller photo paper tray.  The printed image is 4 x 6, but it is printing on paper of the main plate.  What I am doing wrong?
