Small subtitles on Toshiba TV 3D 32TL838G

Hello
When I use to play a movie via the usb port, the subtitles are so small.
I have tried different types of subtitles but the TVs of the same size and shape.
Is it possible to increase the font size or bold?

If this isn't the case it is possible to change it in the next update of the firmware?

Is there a difference if you watch DVDs or Blu - Ray of origin?

It's funny, but a serious bug. Toshiba is aware of this bug? That means letter 'F' in the name of the model: 32RL938F? Maybe should I buy 32RL938 to be properly supported in Poland? ;)

It is a region of the country and F code: the France.
    "B" means UK/Ireland
and G stands for another region of the EU /, including the Russia

    I put t think it's possible

Hmm. have you noticed the same problem of reading the file from flash memory USB, it is possible that the delay is caused by the HARD drive

  • Problem with subtitles on Toshiba 40VL748

    Hello
I experienced some problems with subtitles. When I'm with DLNA subtitles appear not at all. Same subtitles for the same film display correctly when the file is run from a USB key.

Someone managed to run subtitles using DLNA? And another question - why subtitles are so small?
Is it possible to increase the font size?
If this isn't the case it is possible to change it in the next update of the software?

    Hey,.

I was found no more information on the subtitles in the TV manual. I put t think there is an option to increase the size of the font. Probably he also according to the name of the file.
Have you tested different files with different names?

What you can do is trying new TV software as indicated in your user manual and reset the TV by default. Maybe it helps :)

  • Problem with Greek subtitles 4333 - Toshiba 32 L

    Hello

December 13, I bought the TV 32 L 4333 for home use, and soon I realize that the TV media center could not support the Greek language...

Even if I tried to find any menu 'hidden' to change the preferences of coding (as most of the televisions a lot older than that), there was no solution to my problem.

After two weeks (19, 12, 2013) I communicate with the local (by e-mail) service in Greece informing them of my problem and I have still not solution but just for a response... just like "... in update future firmware your problem will be solved."

I do not know if someone has experienced something in common with this model, but also with this company, but I feel very disappointed...

Regarding the Greek subtitles please check this thread
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=72584

Select UTF-8 standard, text editor such as Notepad ++.
You must choose the character set and I also choose the option convert to UTF - 8.

  • Toshiba laptops work well with Linux?

I'm a big fan of Toshiba, but it's the last time I buy a Toshiba product. Producing none of Toshiba laptops running Linux? Least toshiba engineers could do is to make sure that a live ubuntu cd works on the laptop, to make sure that the fan starts and check maybe even the graphics driver works. If it's the fault of ubuntu then drop a bug in launchpad. As far as I know, none of the new Toshiba laptops have a fan that works properly, don't waste your money.

    > All computers laptop Toshiba work well with Linux?
In General, they work well with Linux. If you see this section of Linux, you'll see that menu use Linux on various models of Toshiba laptops.

Officially, Linux is not supported on Toshiba laptops and it may happen that you will have a few small problems with Toshiba specific things like the multimedia keys.
A bit this section Linux and pick up the info you need.

  • HP 500-539: activation of Windows 10 third party HP Refurbed PC, I've changed a HD

I'm search / request this now, before I run into problems in the next few days.

    Here's the story.

I bought a desktop computer from an auction internet, advertised as a "manufacturer refurbished" HP site.

Boxed processor upward in a HP '' renovated manufacturer"" box.   It's the HP 500-539.  Nice tour, still has the plastic cover

on the front.  Date the product around 2015 Jan.

in any case, it was an original P 8 pro - Hp 500-539, which shows a coa key for.

They had charged him with 10 W pro, who had a certificate of authenticity listed different from the original COA of 8 W pro.

All this information, I received an Internet svc Belarc.  Research, the key pro 10 W is on the internet, along with two others.

Well, has started her top and checked out and found a small HD Toshiba, I wanted to change.

Before I changed on the HD, I get a msg of MS to upgrade to the next version of 10 (1604-14393) I did.

Then I did a 10 W USB ISO download to load up on the new HD WD.

So, long story short, I wanted to change small hard disk Toshiba with a new 2 TB WD2003FZEX.

I get on Belarc, and the coa number has changed to 10 W of COA listed in belarc before I swapped HD.  Now it shows

the original COA of the original COA for W 8 pro.

I'm going to encounter problems here?   I contacted (California) at the auction site, and they say that they do not install or work on the refurb.  They came right at HP.  I need to get with HP for the coa. ???

    Any thoughts on this?

    With all due respect

    and thanks adavance

Edit > reason for my concern is, the last HP I got on the site of the auction of sent me a letter from MS with a certificate of authenticity and a disk for HP they sold me.   There is something different with the Windows OS 10?

  • Satellite L505D-S5965 and recovery disk Creater

I did a clean install of windows 7 when I updated and no longer have the Toshiba recovery disc creator.
I can always start disk recovery tool HARD I did not delete this partition when I upgraded. I would like to be able to create a recovery for my system disk in case something happened to my hard drive.

Where can I download it Toshiba Recovery disk creator tool? Is there another way for me to get a recovery disk?

    Stand by.
I think with your answers you're going in the wrong direction.
Good question, but you asked very Timox offered no exact answer.

Please do not mix two very important but completely different things:
    # New laptops computers are delivered without recovery DVD and the DVD of the facilities must be created by the owner of the laptop. For this application, Toshiba has installed small tool called 'Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator'. This tool can be used for creating discs of facilities only.
    # I don't know not what you understand under HARD drive recovery tool but the fact is that recovery image is recorded on the second partition and can be used for the installation of HARD drive recovery. This can be done if you plant only settings. After the clean operating system installation, you probably won't be able to start the installation of the HARD disk even if the recovery files are always saved on the second partition.

As I see you have American portable model. I don't know exactly how it works there but the principle must be the same as here in Europe.

At startup, you must press F8 or zero to enter advanced startup options. There you should find option repair my computer and next to this option, you enter the with recovery option Toshiba system recovery options.
When you install the clean operating system, this option will be gone. I describe how it works now on the European models, but I think we model it should be similar.

    Once again the important questions:
Have you ever tried to start installation of HARD drive recovery (F8 or 0 at startup)?
Can you he start now after installing Win7? If this isn't the case, you have a problem. I just hope that you created the recovery DVDs when you got your laptop.

  • Change the easy keys on P-series of satellites

For some reason, I can't change the settings of the so-called easy keys (it is the keys on the computer itself above the keys F - which enables access to internet, multimedia, play, stop, and so on).

I wonder if someone can tell me why there is a program where I can decide wether I want to the Internet and multimedia keys to access internet or something else. It only will allow me to access the drive media and internet. No matter how many times I change media keys such as Media Center or something else, it always goes to Media Player.

    Any ideas?

    Hello

If you didn t already verified, if you can change the settings of the keys through the program of toshiba, then won´t you have a bit of luck to affect your own
programs to the key, because it s statically.

There may be a small program (not toshiba) which can handle these keys? The only way to find this point is google around and search for it.

  • Downgrade from Windows 7 to Windows Vista

    Hello

I want to ask something about the downgrade from Windows 7 to Windows Vista Edition Home Premium!

My laptop is Satellite L510. When I bought it, it came with Windows Vista Home Premium as its OS so I already created a recovery disk.
Now, if I update to Windows 7 and if I want to downgrade to window Vista... often I just use this recovery disc to format to Windows Vista everything as before?

Because they do not have the Windows Vista installation disk when I bought this laptop.
And I want to ask now the window Vista already got a healthy recovery partition in my right HDdrive? If I update to Windows 7 then did the Window Vista healthy recovery partition is still there, or only the restore disc that I create before you reformat Windows Vista Home Premium box?

Thanks to all who try to answer my question!

All new laptops are shipped without DVD upgraders and everyone must create one. This is why Toshiba has designed small Creator called Toshiba Recovery tool. With this tool you can create recovery DVDs and use them for the installation of the OS more far.

Whenever when you use, you'll have to factory settings and it will be like on the first day when launch you for the first time.

When you have this recovery media, you can do whatever you want and, of course, install Win7 with HARD drive. One day, when you want to have Vista again just use created recovery DVD and you will have factory again.

When you bought your laptop recovery image was recorded on the second partition of HARD drive in the folder called HDDRecovery. This image can be used to install Vista with the factory only settings. When you install Win7 these files can no longer be used and Vista must be installed from recovery created DVDs.

    All questions answered?

  • Re: Problems of control Ethernet on Satellite L300D

    Hello guys,.

Last month, my portable isacting crazy.
Only randomly, it shuts down and tell me that something is wrong with the ethernet controldevice and I put in the startup disk.

The strange thing is, when I restart the computer, everything seems fine, even Vista it self tells me that everything is turned on and properly installed.

And the funny thing is when I bought my laptop weren't any CD that is next to it in the box... because everything was preinstalled. I only got this thing of recovery and a Partition with Vista on himself. But I don't know what to do.

I hope you can help me with my problem.

    Marion

    Hello Marion

New laptop models are supplied without CD/DVD media. Recovery image is recorded on the second partition of HARD drive. Toshiba has preinstalled small application called Toshiba recovery disc creator (the shortcut is placed on the desktop) and you should use this tool to create the installation of recovery disc.

Please check this and create recovery DVDs using DVD-R media.

To be honest I don't know what the problem with the Ethernet device and I can't say for sure why this happens. Are that updated Microsoft automatic set?
As far as I know under optional updates often ranked driver for Ethernet device. This driver should not be updated or changed then maybe is this problem because of some update.

  • Satellite P300D formatting. (No CD)

    Hey,.

I have my laptop Satellite P300D sisters, and according to her, it came with no CD.
I was wondering, how I would go about formatting it without the help of a disc. I did once before, but I do not remember how!

    Please help ASAP!
    Thank you.

    -Yasin

All new laptops Toshiba Satellite P300D as are shipped without CD/DVD facilities, but you have the option to do it alone. To that effect, Toshiba has designed small toll called 'Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator'. The shortcut that you can find on the desktop.

Start this little tool, put empty DVD-R (media of high quality of use) and beginning of creation of recovery DVDs.
Need you maybe 2 empty brackets.

So please don't forget this DVD facilities will be the course because if something's wrong you can use it to reinstall Vista. After using this DVD of the facilities, you will have to new factory condition as after the first start.

Note When you use this HDD DVD everything will be erased so don't forget you will back up all important data before using it.

    Any other questions?

  • Downgrade to XP

    Hi all

I just wanted to share my discoveries with everyone. I have re-installed XP on my P300-1FN laptop and found the following issues:

The SATA controller driver does not install
BSOD at startup of the AHCI
    Unknown disk errors

I tried various ways to install drivers SATA (INTEL Storage Manager). I bought a USB FDD and loaded ICH9M controller drivers and still XP does not load up. The drivers loaded and they are right because they are all listed and completed in F6 RAID manager. I got "unknown hard error" again I used nLite to make a new installation with the drivers disk and voila, all has now installed properly.

    Conclusion:

AHCI does not work under XP. It must be set in Compatibility Mode to run the drivers for XP boot. But many people say it doesn't work will be done difference because it doesn't work on my laptop, simple.

    To use nLite check this

    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD9401AN0000R01.htm

Now I loaded my drivers and the machine runs a lot. The only question I have is; Do we need all these crazy drivers? I have disable most of them anyway. The list below are the drivers, I feel aren't necessary. Please let know us if I need to install one of them for an optimal installation or if I can leave them.

    Acoustic silencer
    Assist
Frimware updates (of which none appear not to work)
    FPSW
Driver Modem / Modem on hold / Modem region Select
    TrueSite fingerprints
    Zoom

I m happy to know that you have installed Windows XP Home edition successfully.
What about all these tools and utilities that you listed at the end of your display?
They are not pilots but small application that Toshiba has incorporated into the recovery image.
Generally you do not need them.

    Has your laptop fingerprint reader?
