• Why my smart objects lose shape when it is changed?

  The reason why your smart objects lose their point of view is because they were created in a later version of Photoshop with a change of perspective that is not supported in earlier versions. (Your CS3, for example) To make it backward compatible and editable in your version, the person who uses the latest version of CS must simulate the perspective transformation with the functions of 'chain', then you will be able to update your smart objects with no problems.

  If I take a 4 K produce and convert/low res to 2 k by 2 k, importing in a time line am I lose quality other than the 2 k low res? Is it bad for the film? Does make a difference if the position would give me a 2 k vs file to me? It's a feature and I need lower res that it creates a DCP. so I'm concerned about quality. And is it all still do not lose quality on import and export. It seems that I lose 15GB.

  YYou are reducing the resolution, but you're not really lower the quality. There should be no difference between you do it or someone else do it. The file will be much lower in 2K 4 K. It is to be expected.

• Hide the smart shape on master slide button

  Hi all

  Looks like I have another issue of nag... I have a project (Captivate 6) that contains the FOOTER navigation that I used smart shape buttons... the problem is, I have a few slides with popups... and buttons are still ALIVE in the pop-up window. And because I can't quote a button on smart shape on a master slide, I don't know how to identify it with a tip Action...

  I know that I can go the L-O-O-O-O-O-N-G way, using a different Master and duplicate the navigation on the slide that will give me the ability to appoint the Smart form buttons... I can't HIDE/SHOW them... but the project has 4-8 pop-up windows that would be a large number of buttons...

  So, is there a way to hide/show buttons created on a model of slides?

  Not possible: objects on master slides do not receive an identification, which means they cannot be used in a fast action (one of my many requests of feature for quite some versions).

  In such a case of use I would not place the buttons on form on the model of slides, but on the first slide and their time for the rest of the project, always on top (if it can be done here?). In this case, they will have a unique ID for the whole project. However, there are a few possible problems for buttons in form with a suspension point. When you use a suspension point for a button shape on the master slide, the break will always happen at the end of each slide, regardless of its duration. This is not the case for form buttons timed for the rest of the project.

• PS CS4 vs CC: jpeg loses quality after cropping?

  I need to crop pictures down to use on the web.  I use Photoshop CC.  Whenever I harvest, the image loses quality.  It happened not in CS4.  I did a comparison on the same image - cropped and saved for the web in CC and CS4.  The right one was done in CC and bad image quality.  I can't find all the differences in these two JPEG images.  (the two RGB/8bits, both at about 40 k - the best image is actually a little more small. weird.)

  Any ideas on what has changed in CC?

  Why not use a click box? What version do you use? I ask this, because in 8 you can change the 3 States of a button of form, either in the Style of the object manager or in the properties panel.

  The only reason I can imagine why you prefer a form button on click box (which may show hint/success/failure) is that you want to have the button shape on a slide, or timed for the rest of the project, which is not possible with a click box.

  If you burn to a DVD disc in first items 10 and later versions, some choices are

  a. DVD-VIDEO standard screen or 4:3 16:9 on DVD disc

  Both will have the frame size of 720 x 480 pixels. But the big screen comes with a 16:9 flag that extends approximately 856/480 16:9 display video after encoding. The screening is not adjustable by the user... and you end up with the DVD-VIDEO format @ 29.97 images per second interlaced.

  b. format of the AVCHD on DVD

And, depending on the version, can be 29.97 images interlaced per second, or 23.976 progressive frames per second (if not just 29.97 images per second interlaced).   I am using Captivate 8.0.1.242 (latest version), and I came across something quite boring.

  Tell so you create a button that will take you to the next page, then say that you create a smart shape above the button, which is then defined as a button 'Use as button', but when you click it, it will execute the button below.

  Even if the smart shape is not defined as a button, if you happen to click where is the button below, you will end up on the next slide.

  The intelligent form is on the top layer of most, over everything, including the button.

  You can have two interactive objects in the same place at the same time. That has always been the case. It works correctly when you view a button in time, as I have explained in one of the scenarios here: buttons in the form of rocking - Captivate 6 - Captivate blog

  An interactive, covered with a non-interactive object object maintains its interactivity, have many examples of this behavior on my blog too. The only exception I've found recently (to CP8) is when you cover an interactive object (like a text input area) with a widget static (as an interaction of the drop-down list), then the widget now seems to kill the features of the interactive object.   The work path is a vector and infinitely scalable, but when caress you, Photoshop sets the pixels on a layer following the path.  These pixels are rasterized and based and cannot be resized without loss of quality.  You have options.  If you want to enlarge the raster layer, transform the work path and stroking again.  Or work at a resolution higher, in the first place.

  Either incidentally, you can't trace a path with the pen, because it's a vector tool, and caressing is a matrix function based.

  The event on the output is not a good choice for a break, for several reasons: break will take place after the output, which means that on the first frame of the next slide.

  Nice day! I am looking for a way to change the color of overview of smart shapes used as buttons. I can't find the property box in the user interface (even though I know how to do this in AS3). • Buttons on nav smart shape broke in the project of upgrading from 6 to 7

  Captivate version: 7.0.1.237 Windows 7

  I have a project with a navigation that worked correctly in v6, but now the smart navigation buttons form are broken. I tried to rebind the existing smart forms to another slide and create new smart forms to post a link. The forms can be changed visually when you click (normal change), but the project is not going to any other slide.

  Does anyone have suggestions for what else to try? I have a workaround in my back pocket (transparent button on the smart form), but I prefer to do this correctly.

  If the Smart form does not work, I would be a transparent button (don't know why everyone's going for those, but I digress) would fail too.

  I would say check your quiz settings. Chances are that you have an object that can sititng on a blade between where is your smart shape and where you try to bind, if your Quiz settings say that each question should be answered, links will fail.
