  PANTONE Color Manager does not 'automatically' Refresh libraries; on the contrary, it gives you access to libraries for export in your applications.

  The steps to do this are entirely documented within the system of online help installed with the software and accessible from the Help menu. You can find them on Page 11 y. Here's a brief description:

  1. If your target applications are open, close them.
  2. launch PANTONE Color Manager
  3. go on display/Fandeck, then select the library you want to export.*
  4. go to file/export/select your application/choose L * a * b * to print or sRGB for Web design *.
  5. the library is exported and is now accessible from your target application.

  * PANTONE Color Manager also allows you the flexibility to assemble and work with color palettes, or apply an output profile for your front of libraries/pallets for export, to provide management of the PANTONE colors for a particular device. Please refer to the 'Help' system for more details.

  * PANTONE + Color Bridge libraries must be exported in CMYK.

• Sections of color are missing to fill my illustration Illustrator (CC2015)

  I have works of art that has been created in previous versions of Illustrator and recently when I opened the files, there are sections of missing color.  These sections do not appear mode plotted.  I can usually get rid of the blank spaces by redrawing outlines/smoothing to the region where it is located.  Anyone know what could cause this problem?   I found problems like that, and spent ages their fixation only to realize was actually a screen problem, that is not really there.

  Disable the website of colors in the preferences (options) can have all kinds of side effects because it also disables background images and as such can cause buttons or links that consist exclusively of a background image to get invisible.

  The NoSquint extension is much better in dealing with these issues.

Machine and firefox running now, but the default search engines are all absent. Only wiki was there and only wiki under the management of search engines. I use legal search engines / academic and want to restore them. Highlight and right click on the text offers a wiki instead of google search

  Somehow some shortcuts are available - same copy/past

  Of course, I can add it manually by Edit-> keyboard shortcuts, but it would be really anoing.

  You could reinstall using the way complete three steps (the otherwise strange things may persist):

  (1) uninstall (check the box to delete the preferences),

  (2) run the cleanup tool, see the link below,

  (3) reinstall.

• OfficeJet Pro K8600 - my print quality is mediocre... some colors are missing.

  With the exception of the first inch or two on a page of my printer seems to only print in red and yellow. • Smart View - delete no data / Missing columns option

  I noticed that my windows default sounds are missing. They are nowhere in my file system. I went to the personalization and clicked on sounds. It shows all the sounds (like, asterisk, critical battery, start Windows, connection, newspaper) with no sounds. I can't test them because there is no files for sounds. Is there a way I can get back them. Can I download them?

  Looks like there is some system files corrupted on the computer, I would say that scan you SFC who will search the system files corrupted on the computer and replace them.

  Scan SFC enforcement procedure:

  1. click on the Start button
  2. on the Start Menu, click all programs Accessories followed
  3. in the Accessories menu , right click on the command line option
  4. in the menu that appears, click on the option "Run as Administrator"
  5 If you have the enabled User Account Control (UAC) you will be asked to consent to the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.
  6. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow then press enter
  7. a message is displayed to indicate that "the analysis of the system will start.
  8. be patient because the analysis may take some time
  9. If all the files need replace SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Vista DVD for this process to continue
  10. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.
  11 after the scan finished, close the command prompt window reboot the computer and check.

  The analysis may take some time, so be patient. Windows allows to fix corrupt or missing files it finds. If the information of the installation CD is required to fix the problem, you may be asked to insert your Windows Vista installation CD.

  Web pages are missing their scroll bars.

  To be clear, I can create scrollbars for any item

  in a page, no problem.

  It is that each pg itself which, by default, should come with its own scroll bars does not.

  So if a Viewer can't see the entire page the viewer has no way of

  Using the Excel Format option we will be able to preserve the color of formatting only with Option.But Refresh if we did another grid option, then we are not able to retain the color formatting.

  Refer to KB:SmartView Excel formatting is lost after Zoom In, Pivot, undo or redo operations even if "Preserve Excel formatting" is selected. [1096328.1 ID]

  cause: this is an expected behavior in SmartView. During the presentation of the grid is modified, the formatting will not be kept, as SmartView treats as a new grid.

  Some malware will hide all the icons and shortcuts on your computer. To make your icons visible again, download display on your desktop.
