  Already activated my new Bold 9700 with Bell this morning. Everything works except for the audio alerts by e-mail. I'm very frustrated with it that I have tried several solutions, hopefully a tech here rep can provide a method that I have not already tried.

  When I receive an email, the light, the red asterisk in the main message section, but there is no audio alerts. I have the profile set to normal, sonar ping as audio choice and set to always indoors or out of Holster.  All this started after I tried to sync with contacts from my old phone, a Blackberry 8830 with Bell.

  Here's a little recap, in chronological order.

  -active 9700, voice work of calls, classic phone ring ToneWorks, went to the site of the BIS, set up my two email with Gmail and Yahoo accounts. Received messages and audio alerts by e-mail.

  -the problem started when I synced my old 8830 version 4.5.0.127 with Bishop Office and transferred the address book and contacts of Bishop BB the 9700.

  -Alerts audio email stopped working on gmail and yahoo, still getting emails well. Strange because when the audio alert worked, the red asterisk indicating a new email will appear in the message section and the section of gmail/yahoo messages. With the audio alert does not, the red asterisk appears only in the message section.

  -at this point, the 9700 is running on something v5.0.0.3

  -Sync also failed to transfer phone numbers 8830 address book the 9700. The names and e-mail addresses have been transferred but no phone number.

  -changed profiles by selecting a different audio alert, activated the wireless market, removed the battery for 5 minutes and restarted. Still did not work.

  -wipe the device, set up the email once again, an e-mail alert audo still does not.

  -at this point, I went back to the dealer for help. They used their desktop Manager to synchronize with my 8830. Their timing worked better that phone numbers have been able to transfer through. Once again however, no warning audio email.

  -dealer spent 90 minutes, yes 90 minutes working on my device. He did the same methods I've tried... twice. They wiped my camera... twice. Updated the service books, changed the normal profile to one other than sonar sound alert, still does not.

  -store was closed then dealer suggested to delete the old 8830 BIS email. Don't forget my 8830 and 9700 have different mobile numbers on separate accounts.

  -return home and has decided to do the opposite of the dealer's suggestion, I've deleted email BIS (on the site of the BIS on my PC) on the 9700 rather than the 8830 and recorded again. It worked! Getting email audio alerts on two e-mail accounts! Synchronization Manager to back up, once I do request now if I want to upgrade to v5.0.0.423. I save my profile, and then click ok... bad idea. Once happens, alerts audio email stopped working again.

  -Restore backup data, I just saved, alerts e-mail audiio does not. And then deleted and added a new e-mail, and update of new service books and audio alert in normal profile options.

  -repeats removing the battery, turning network works, no luck.

  From this moment, I have a 9700 with v5.0.0.423, updated service books and two emails from BIS (gmail and yahoo) which are still not give audio alerts email. Is this a problem of software or a defect in my own device? What can I do to fix this? It is imperative for me to answer my emails BIS in time for audio alerts by e-mail are a must for me.

  In addition, my 8830 was conducting a BES until four weeks ago. Now, it is on BIS only even if one of the BES parameters is still present and I couldn't remove it. I don't know the password security feature, 8830 claims always my pw to unlock. Have not been able to turn it off on the security options screen.

  Please help... How to get back my audio alert email?

  To correct this problem, you need to remove the COMPUTER of your BlackBerry smartphone policy.

  I advise to do this for both phones, as well as after it is done do not restore the old backup, but selective restore as outlned below.

  I get emails from advertising a lot, a lot who are not addressed to me.  Where the FROM and TO, and the SUBJECT line is theTO is NOT MY e-mail address.  Why is this and how to stop it?

  You can set up a message rule where if the message isn't to you, then move to a junk mail folder.  You can then the screen junk folder and delete what is really undesirable.

  Stopping the churn.  If they are unscrupulous - that simply confirms your e-mail address is * well * and it will be resold to new lists.

  Specifically, add them to your list of mail JUNK when you can, if you doubt, you will always receive an email, just to be sure, their entire domain.

  The only other suggestion is to get an other email address for your personal & business needs and start using it.  Make sure that you register for what whatever randomly with this specific e-mail address (control which give you out.)  A * lot * of junk mail occurs usually because someone came to something random at some point and then the address obtained on a 'list' that was happening around / sold.

  Here's one way:

  , "THURSDAY".

  )

  "Before Thursday' means the same as 'the or before Wednesday '.

  This assumes that NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE is English.  If you are not sure what is NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE, you can do this:

  , TO_CHAR (DATE ' 2014-03-06' - or any Thursday)

  )

  There is nothing magical about March 6, 2014; will do any Thursday.  To_char will return the translation of 'Thursday' in all that is the current NLS_DATE_LANGIUAGE, and NEXT_DAY can use this value.

  I had a few problems with the function in my BB Bold 9700 device voice dialing. Whenever I have activate the functions, it shows a progress while loading contacts bar and then it just closes. I closed to 300 contacts (it is not so much), and I've tried recalibrating the voice with the same results.

  I am trying to identify the SQL code which should benefit from the use of bind variables.
  First of all, I tried to get the common signature of all the sql calls, using:

  Then I copied these values to the Clipboard and run:

  Now, I want to make it automatically and get only 1 occurrence of each SQL that resembles others by using a query.

  And I said. First use the command by then use rownum. I did not mention row_number. Also, there should be no need to add more columns.

  If you want to order that the statement that found most of the time comes first, say so. However, I don't see how to group in your case.

  Have you installed any software or display fonts as suitcase or Font Explorer?

  If not, the fonts are removed in one of two ways: by using the control panel-> Fonts, locate the fonts in the list and delete it - or - work stations, find the name of the policy file (which may be different from the name of the font), remove it.

  That said, what is the name of the font? What was it? [OpenType |] TrueType | PostScript Type 1] what was the source? [Provided with windows |] Came with another application {application name, please} | Got source commercial/shareware/freeware] what is the name of fonts in font of the registration program? What is / are the name of the file/s?
