  Assuming you are using windows 8, the easiest to turn off the wifi and bluetooth is entering the mode by pressing Fn + f5 plane or just tap the wifi icon in the system tray and press or slide the switch at the top of the big pop up.

  Hi I just got my first Blackberry. It was only for a week and I think I messed up. My wife has one and I wanted to get his address book in mine without loseing my info. I plugged the two s of Blackberry to the computer and use the Fund Manager to import the information.   I have Oracle database 11g r2 installed in Oracle Linux 5 (no GUI) in my laptop.
  I want to disable all optional services and the demon, and keep just required to run the oracle database.

  The oracle database has no need of these services

  The operating system can depending on the services you have installed or require. If you don't need any NFS or other rpc network services, you can stop portmap rpc.statd, xinetd, rpc.idmapd for example. You can probably disable pcscd if you don't need smart cards. You can probably disable the iscsi demons and xfs support. You can stop these services and then see if you still need to work. However, I doubt that it will be a lot of influence on the use of resource or overall performance of the system.
