Drop by your local service provider's retail store and ask them to do it for you, they can.

Unless you have SIM cards and software readers, you can't. They do it.

  • Smartphones blackBerry Sim Card

Hello! I would be grateful, if anyone can inform me. I destroyed the Sim Card from my BB Torch. I could buy another of my career, keep the same phone number? Thank you.

Yes, you would hold the same number.  Your carrier would say - associate your cell in the old SIM card number and attach it to a new.

    I hope that helps you.

The only thing you can do is replace or get an exchange of SIM card.

Sometimes remove and reinsert the card back you get, but who did not work for you.

  • Smartphones blackBerry MicroSD card question

Hello people, new user of BB here.

I would get a larger microSd card to load music on my turn.  Two questions: what the largest capacity card can be used and I did too, the really important speed rating?  It seems that most cards advertise speed 2 side - is fast enough?

    Thanks in advance,

Lack of time here in Eastern PA today (Foulwx)

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

SD card capacity is determined by level OS you run... see this KB:

    • KB05461 Formats supported by the version of BlackBerry Device Software of card MicroSD

As for the speed rating... I've not seen anything that deals with this, which makes me believe that the speed of the card is not the factor limiting.

    Hope that helps!

  • Smartphones blackBerry memory card question

I want to delete everything on my memory card 2 GB SD. How do I do this on my BB 8310 curve? And which will remove all the songs and the names of the songs out of the list of songs of music and media? Thanks for the help.

Use the Options > Media Card > Menu > command Format, and yes it will completely erase ALL the music on the map card. If you have music on the device's memory, it is not clear that.

Similarly, playlists, etc., are stored in the device memory. But after that you have the formatted card playlists should clearly where the songs on the map of support have been removed.

  • Smartphones blackBerry RE Newbie question: address book/Sim Card

I have a BB 8820 Smartphone & my carrier is AT & T. I previously had an LG view & upgraded yesterday to my BB (which I LOVE BTW!) I copied my contacts from my SIM card and managed to transfer all my existing addresses to the new BB. However, for some reason-all addresses see contact phone numbers in the field 'Work' rather than 'Mobile' or 'Home' "They were not show them that way on reading my previous phone screen - so my question is that I have to go in every & each entry address to re - enter the number in the 'Mobile' field & then disable it ' work ' field in order so that it appears as"Sue Mobile"or even just"Sue"when she calls instead of display"Work of Sue"there are entires that are numbers of work , but the majority are not & it gets confusing... make sense? Laughing out loud

Not to be confused... Yes you have to it manually.

And you need to transfer all the numbers from your SIM card to your BlackBerry address book, too.

Then, you can synchronize the BlackBerry to Outlook or Outlook Express and do the editing there. Much easier.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Priv Sim Card drawer

Does anyone know where to find a replacement for the PRIV sim card support?

I checked eBay and oter sites but none seem to have these - ideas?

Can I get them directly from Blackberry as a spare part.

You could try calling the number private Support for the United Kingdom 0800 141 3330 and see if they can help. They usually don't sell all the pieces, however, so I'm not sure what they will be able to do it for you. Does not hurt to try, if.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Chang SIM card

    Hello
IAM, traveling to LONDON - I'm going to change my SIM card - if I change all my data and contacts and bookmarks will be available as the same as before?
    Please advice

You must save your contacts to your address book on the device, not the SIM card.

You can check by opening your BlackBerry address book.

Press the Menu key > SIM Phonebook.

Look over there, you have all the entries stored in the SIM card? If so, you can press Menu again > copy everything to the address book.

Browser bookmarks are not saved in the SIM card.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones new Sim card when I'm not

I rebooted my phone because it was slow and when I turned it on it came with the Blackberry ID page, saying: I changed my sim card (which I did not) then I logged on my blackberry ID, but it said it was invalid, so I made a new one just to be sure of real and he says also that it was invalid. I am in 8 tries and once I get to 10 my unit will be cleaned and I don't want that. Help, please

Try to make an another battery pull - while the power is on, for 15 to 30 seconds, reinsert the battery and wait for the device to reboot. You are now able to cross this screen? If not, back up your information of device on your computer using Desktop software, then allow the reset to proceed. You will be able to restore your data later.

    I hope this helps!

  • Smartphones BB Storm blackBerry sim card rejected

Someone had problems with the rejected SIM error? Sometimes my phone has this error at the top of the screen, I know it's not really important if you are traveling abroad. When I turned my phone off and back on the phone wants me to configure the sim card, so I said no and later, the phone displays the message.

Spoke to a Verizon technician. Here's what he told me to do:

Manage the connections--> Mobile Network Options

Change of "Global" to "1XEV" under "Network Technology".

Restart your storm after you have changed the setting. The error message should disappear.

It works on mine. Hope this works for you also.

  • Changing Z10 blackBerry SIM cards

Maybe it's a question but naïve. My Z10 is first BB with a SIM card. I am a customer of Bell Mobility.  If I go on holiday in another country could I buy a SIM card from a local mobile phone service provider it and install it in the Z10?

You shouldn't buy a local sim card, your z10 will work on their networks. I called bell and ask them to give you the package overseas before your departure. I do each year when I take my family in Cuba, I get the carribean with bell for the data package and phone... But technically Yes, you can buy a sim card in this country that their carrier supports the z10.

  • Changing Smartphone blackBerry media card

IM changing my 2 GB card for a 16 GB media and I want to transfer everything to the new media card, but I want it in the same order. is this possible?

    Hello

Through the device, not really. Through your computer, absolutely. Your choice is:

    Mass storage mode:

    • KB11879 What is the mass storage mode
    • KB13564 How to enable or disable the mode on the smartphone BlackBerry mass storage.
    • KB29523 How to manually transfer files between a BlackBerry smart phone and a Windows computer
    1. With your 'old' in your BB card, copy everything on your computer
    2. Set up your 'new' card
    3. Format the 'new' card in the BB
    4. Copy the text from the computer to the 'new' card

Use of an adapter of your computer card reader:

    1. Remove your 'old' your BB card
    2. Use the card reader and copy the text from the old card to your computer
    3. Insert the new card into the BB
    4. Format the new card with the BB
    5. Remove the new card of the BB
    6. Use the card reader and copy the text from the computer on the new map
    7. Put the new card in the BB

    Good luck!
