BlackBerry Smartphones new Sim card when I'm not

I rebooted my phone because it was slow and when I turned it on it came with the Blackberry ID page, saying: I changed my sim card (which I did not) then I logged on my blackberry ID, but it said it was invalid, so I made a new one just to be sure of real and he says also that it was invalid. I am in 8 tries and once I get to 10 my unit will be cleaned and I don't want that. Help, please

Try to make an another battery pull - while the power is on, for 15 to 30 seconds, reinsert the battery and wait for the device to reboot. You are now able to cross this screen? If not, back up your information of device on your computer using Desktop software, then allow the reset to proceed. You will be able to restore your data later.

I hope this helps!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Chang SIM card

    Hello
IAM, traveling to LONDON - I'm going to change my SIM card - if I change all my data and contacts and bookmarks will be available as the same as before?
    Please advice

You must save your contacts to your address book on the device, not the SIM card.

You can check by opening your BlackBerry address book.

Press the Menu key > SIM Phonebook.

Look over there, you have all the entries stored in the SIM card? If so, you can press Menu again > copy everything to the address book.

Browser bookmarks are not saved in the SIM card.

    Thank you

RIM (now called BlackBerry) does not repair the units. You can take it to T-Mobile, which would then send for repair, or you can ask a repair on your own shop. If there is a way for a quote before any work, get. There may be cheaper to buy another torch flea market online.

    See you soon.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones new "BOLD" E-mail on BES not activate

Hello everyone, I hope somewhere here could point me in the right direction or solution. I'm the network administration work a company that hosts an exchange for a server a group of people. 13 of these users also have an account on a configuration of BES here in my office. The BES has been implemented before my time and it was always one of those things that is sitting there and does what it is supposed to do. Support peope here have added and deleted the BES phones in the past with no problems until about 5 days ago.

We have a customer who has an account on the BES to get its Exchange e-mail sent to his Blackberry. It was recently upgraded to the new BlackBerry Bold and crossed the activation up to e-mail. The support here in my Office I he traveled to his email address and the password, but then he asked for the IP address that was new to everyone who has managed the BlackBerry to my company. The user contacted AT & T and they referred to RIM, he says, they took contact with RIM and they referred us to hide. And somehow all of this back to the administrator of the network to sort.

I'm not very familiar with the Blackberrys but am pretty tech savvy. The user is a few hundred miles away so I did not have the freedom to play with her. Someone saw something similar or of what should go in the IP address section? I deleted his account out of BES and then put it back on, and said the State is Initializing. Any help would be greatly appreciated I already spent six hours on the test. The rest of the phone works, I think he said that the other phone is still on, but with another carrier.

Please take a few minutes to read my plea.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones new battery with Red Cross, do not load

Bought my 2 "BOLD" one year back. Just bought a new battery for my Bold 2 (9700) with a guarantee of 6 months like previous battery used to drain quickly. Tried to load, but it is a sign of the battery with a red cross on it even after charging it for 3 hours. When I use my old battery, it works well as before. What is the problem? Help, please.

    Hi drdash

It sounds like you may have a defective battery.  I suggest you go back to the place of purchase for an Exchange if possible.

  • BlackBerry Bold 9900 smartphones will not recognize the new SIM card

I recently got a Bold 9900 as a gift. In my view, that the phone has been used on the Orange network.

I tried replacing the original Orange SIM card with my SIMcard "pay-as-you-go" three, when I turn on the phone I get the message "SIM not recognized" and a dialog box asking me to enter a code to unlock the SIM card.

Because this means that the phone is locked on Orange network. If so, how can I get the unlock code for the new SIM card?

    Best regards

    SS

Hello and welcome to the community!

You have in fact potentially two issues to deal with... When BBs are made, they are "locked" to their original media and cannot be used on any other carrier up to this MEP is unlocked. Reference:

But the error you say does not quite what I'd expect from an MEP lock... but please check after the above and see if your BB is indeed MEP locked... If so, then Yes you need to unlock it until you can use it on any other carrier.

Or - some SIM cards are delivered with a code of their own necessary to unlock and use. But the supplier of the SIM card which should also give unlock code you with this (if that's what applies to your situation).

So, I suggest you check to see if your device is still locked MEP... If so, get a code (you may have to pay) and unlock it. Then try the SIM card again. If it still fails then your SIM card provider.

In addition, please check with your mobile service provider preferred 100% certain that your BB model is 100% compatible with their network for all services.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones second hand blackberry 9900 rejects the new sim card?

Hello everyone. I intend to sell my Blackberry Bold 9900. However, I fear that the user cannot use a new sim card, like when I tried to place a new phone rejected it, he says "SIM not configured". How can I possibly fix?

I bought my phone as a single unit on an online store, which means that it has never been on a postpaid.

    Thank you!

You need to get the device unlocked from a reputable unlocking service. I recommend unlock.berryreview.com

  • Help blackBerry Smartphones! Bold 9700 is frozen on start up with the new sim card

I tried looking for similar topics but could not find more relevant. everyone seems to have no problem with swapping of cards sim on their fat. If there is a thread already open, I'm sorry. I am really frustrated and really need my blackberry to be operational.

I have a Bold 9700, updated to the latest OS, everything works fine. I recently had some problems with my old sim card so I went to my service provider to change to another (same number, same line, same contract, just a new sim card).

As it is expected that I was told that when my old sim is disabled, simply insert my new and I use my phone as normal.

However, when I did this, the phone was stuck at the loading screen (the bar is all white) for eternity (maybe 5 minutes or more) before moving on to the home screen. There is no charge "security check" bar, the phone is completely frozen, no buttons work, the touch pad does not work, it shows 3G top right without the sign of blackberry, there is no service provider name and from time to time the little loading logo clock is displayed.

I pulled the battery a couple of times and the problem persists. I called the service provider to reactivate the new sim card, they did 3 times, same problem. I inserted the SIM in other non-blackberry phones that I have and it works on all phones. When I put my old sim card in the 9700 disabled, the phone start end in 2-3 minutes, 'check' safety bar according to normal, everything moves, just no connection to the service. When I turn on the phone without sim card it starts fine with a message to say out loud the card sim.

I even went down to the assistance service technique blackberry from my service provider and they were no help. all they could say was 'we must wipe your phone and reload the software' that I'm trying to avoid, and I can do it myself anyway.

My phone is unlocked, comes unlocked here in Singapore, I even checked using the method 'MEPD', all disabled.

This was very frustrating, especially when I need my blackberry for work. What is the problem with my phone? How can the simple replacement of a sim card if difficult on a blackberry when there is problem free for ANY other phone I've ever used? I am now fear when I travel abroad for business and requires a foreign sim card.

had the same problem and eventually happeing is that I had to reload my os permeable, and then insert the sim card and upgrade again.

    consusming time, but worth it

Hi, I have Internet data in my package and I just switch to an iPhone a 4S 5, I have to change my number to my new sim card and all is works well but when I go out I do not receive my internet, No 4 G or 3 G appears in the corner, everything is turned on?

Contact your carrier and make sure that your account is configured correctly. Then go to settings/general/to comments and press the network name; This will cause the exceptional carrier updates to install (you will see a dialog box saying if an update is needed). In addition, go to settings/general/reset - Reset network settings if none of these fix. You will lose the WiFi passwords, but nothing else.

  • Authentication required each time new sim card entered the Iphone

After the new update apple this week of May 18, 2016, whenever you change the sim card, you will need to re - authenticate your apple ID.  It's very embarrassing for people who travel often and use the dual sims or will frequently use different sim card for different countries.  It's that apple has not even given the user a choice to turn off his mandatory.  Especially when you travel to a new country and buy a new sim card and activate it using your iPhone, it becomes almost impossible since you need to first find a journal in your iPhone and then active sim card wifi, making it an extremely difficult process.

While some may want this feature, it is not logical for everyone. Ask apple to make this optional choice / deleting it or explain how to get rid of.

Your iCloud account and iMessage active on the phone?  If so, Yes, it will require you to do whenever you change the SIM card and that is never going to change. You can try to connect on iCloud, iMessage and FaceTime and see if she is no longer doing this.  But as long as you use the services of Apple (and find my iPhone with iCloud), which are related to the phone in use with the device number, you will be prompted to confirm whenever you switch SIMs.

  • SIM card disabled... Need to unlock Code - or do I need a new SIM card?

Hi - I was a fool to check my phone late into the night Friday and checked settings-> location & security and went down all the way to lock SIM card. My phone is running the last updated Android for this model of Motorola MB300 BackFlip MotoBlur, I guess it's Android 2.1?

I went to the where it says set up SIM card lock.

I went to the where it says card SIM Lock (require PIN using the phone) and he asked for a PIN and I entered my own PIN and then I thought asked that my re - enter to confirm the new PIN code and then it was locked. I couldn't turn the lock, and I got on the screen when he timed out where he said I had the possibility of a PUK code. I don't know what it was, but I entered my code I thought that I did, and then he asked for me to create a new code, which I did, and then he asked me to re - enter the code to confirm. I did, and every time it says INVALID CODE ENTRY or something. So I tried other things. I tried to guess what the PUK code. I sent my parents at this stage because he said I could get the PUK code in caller Service customer. But I do not have to restart my phone and dial a number. I tried to keep guessing. Finally, he said that SIM card has been DISABLED. And now I can only make emergency calls.

I found somewhere on the Internet that will give the unlock codes for a SIM card if you have the IMEI number of the phone that I have, and the model. I entered the model and IMEI number to see if they had paid him to the record, which they said to do it before the "order"... which I was suspicious. They found my unlock the number, they said, for what I entered. Simply, they want my name, address, etc. and will allow me to pay using credit or debit via Paypal. It costs $ 7.99 for the code.

I'm not really happy to spend $8 that I can get for free if I go to a local store of AT & T with the technicians and technical help, that will do it for Hello, FREE?, because I pay 5 $par month on phone, insurance which now on this P.O.S. phone, had to be said for her many times... but I secretly want to take in the closest CENTRE of DEVICE OF SUPPORT , I have a recommendation to go form (but that one is a 2.5 hours a one-way ticket on public transport, unfortunately, compared to only an hour or two in a store of tech to give me a new SIM card) and see if I can get this BackFlip swapped for a SideFlip while I'm.

    • What is the chances of that? Just whine enough about the BackFlip even get a SideFlip? The SideFlip is done? To compensate for the BackFlip? (^_*)?
    • Anyone know how to unlock the SIM card once it has been disabled? Or people with reduced mobility means NEVER usable for the rest of its useful life? That's all I need to know now. Mainly.
    • And on the other hand, in passing, if someone got lucky by swapping this out for a SideFlip mofone and what their thoughts were the Motorola SideFlip vs the BackFlip with respect to memory and the Android operating system and version MotoBlue... etc. The usual. Comparisons?

The tech store I use mainly is closed on Sundays (to get a new SIM card), so I can't go today after all. To remedy this, I hope to get a response on this forum. Please post anything you know that might help me for FREE get this MOFONE FIXED and SIM re-activated or reactivated. And it's too late in the day to get to the CENTER of SUPPORT of DEVICE. So boo hoo. I'm screwed. I would like to have a car and not a nice bike respectful of the environment.

PS - I've READ online THAT THE PUK FOR THIS PHONE IS ALWAYS 1111, but I think they were referring to the device of MiFi who came, not the BackFlip MB300... so I don't know if the PUK Code is universally 1111 or what, but it does NOT work. What could be? Is - this own to my phone and the IMEI number? Thank you!!!

    djpurity

If the SIM card is deactivated so your best bet is to get a new one. AT & T gives them for free, but there is not many other v e can do. Blocking of SIM cards is a security feature to protect your account as a sim card is linked to a phone number.

Other unlocks forsale are online for carrier unlocks - unlocking a phone to use with another carrier. The unlock code requiring an IMEI unlock for another carrier - it won't help with SIM disabled.

If you could easily unblock a SIM card, anyone could steal your phone and break the SIM lock. As far as I know, once the SIM card is disabled, you must a new.

But the good news is that AT & T gives free new.

  • If I buy a T-Mobile unlocked iphone7, can I use the sim card by carrier other than T-mobile on the iphone7? Because I travel abroad from time to time, I wonder if the unlocked Tmobile iphone7 accept any sim card when I am abroad

If I buy a T-Mobile unlocked iphone7, can I use the sim card by carrier other than T-mobile on the iphone7? Because I travel abroad from time to time, I need to use another sim card when I'm outside of US. So if I order a T-mobile unlocked iphone7, he will accept my sim card from a foreign carrier? In addition, he will accept my 2nd sim card which is Sprint (my sprint sim card is not related to a device)?

An unlocked iPhone for use with any compatible GSM carrier.

Sprint is NOT a GSM carrier. They are a CDMA carrier.
