  The original is the best to use because it lasts longer than the Chinese even if the price of an original is too high. As for the charging via USB, that there is no problem, mine I load via USB to the office and use the wall home charger.

  Hi all.

  I am new to the storm, but believe me, I've been everywhere on the internet trying to find the resolution appropriate for my case here. I found one or two instances where they did notice that they fixed, follow the signs, but can't seem to solve the problem. Here is what happened:

  Got my Storm 9500 Saturday, worked well and the dadny, a little lag, no big deal, but had a horrible battery life. (6 hours and dead) I read that update of your phone it improves by about 80%. So I bought a micro usb cable, BlackBerry. It is plugged in and did the update online Wednesday evening. Well, I do think that the update is complete. I was in there about 20 minutes, the process had begun, tehre was a

  computer screen and such demonstration on the storm, indicating the transfer. Update online TH rebooted the phone and a message popped up saying the affect"cannot run multiboot" and that's all. The phone immediately started to reeboot. It restarts now no stopping. The red LED flashes, black screen with the clock that indicates the start and then the screen turns white (where it is said normally Blackberry at startup) and technology quickly flashed in the center of the screen "Unable to create...". Reset' reset is written in a solid black rectangle. Then, the phone restarts nonstop like that until the battery dies.

  Now, what I tried to fix it... Everything under the Sun.

  Tried the jl-cmder to wipe... not connecting, even when I force him by prompt msdos. It gives me an error that 'impossible to connect to the device. Error openind"port of communication to that affect...

  Tried to update the software using the tool DM. of JVFM software loading, and then it tries to connect to the device several times and reports a fatal error... cannot continue.

  I then try to force the installation directly using the loader.exe. It connects, and instead of giving me the software options said 'Contact service provider etc.' I use the Add button to add the software manually, it seems as is compiled to get this ready for a transfer to the device, but then a message appears saying that there is no software for this device.   Is it possible that I was cheated and gave a phone pre-production or something? the PIN and all that jazz has worked. I just removed the battery and compares it to tmobile my fiancé pearl of the brand. In the Pearl, she has the pin of the device, number etc as well as THIS seal etc on the same label. On the storm, there is just a sticker with the number etc. of pine. No stamp IT and other brands that are found on the T-mobile phone.   TELUS said there is a de.32.712 update but when I try to update it starts and then tells me to check my internet connection and try again.  Of course, retry does nothing.

  I now have my desktop hooked up and the same thing is happening with an ethernet connection.   Therefore, it is not the internet.

  I was able to install the latest version of Desktop Manager.

  Sorry for the delay in responding.

  As web-based charger does not work, I would suggest doing the following:

  1. go to https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=02A32AD2669E6FE298E607FE7CC0E1A0

  2. download the software of the device for your BlackBerry Storm 9550 5.0.0.712

  3 install the software and tap on finish once he did install.

  4. navigate to the location where Loader.exe is installed. The default location is C:\Program Files\Common Research In Motion\AppLoader.
  5. start Loader.exe. The Application Loader Wizard window opens.
  6. when the Communications Port selection window opens, select a PIN number for one of the BlackBerry smartphones connected to the personal computer. Click Next.
  7. the Application Loader Wizard opens the selection of the Application device. Select any other languages or applications in the selection window, and then click Next.
  8. click on Finish. The BlackBerry smartphone will be improved with the appropriate software.

  War Eagle! -J' had a problem with one of ours and Verizon Customer Support number called * 611. while I was in the face of technical support, the same would work to give you a delivery date on your order.  But the good news is that you will have a more gentle storm, kinder off bugged.  I think that you will be happy that you had the cause of delay, it was not that fun... with all these issues to work around.  But we are hopeful.

  I recently discovered on talkstreamlive.mobi.  I was very happy that now I could take full advantage of the capabilities of storm.  However when I went to site and tried to listen to live streaming radio, it would not load.  Apparently most, if not all the files are WMA files.  What can I do to listen to live streaming radio from this Web site which uses WMA files.

  I also use the fly cast that shows the album and track information and let's you click on a shopping site while continuing to listen to. It is a user-friendly application good storm. I think that is what you are looking for Moodio, which is web-based and allows you to save a list of favorites. A great list of music and types of speech are available. This site is currently my most used book marked Web site. I can't connect occasionally to some stations, but which seems to occur because of the bandwidth or traffic high on the side issues sending and not a problem of the storm. A bonus is that I can log on to their web site from my desktop, connect, and play streaming audio of my saved list of favorites when I'm in my office.   Try this:

  On the storm, go to options / advanced options.

  Highlight (do not click on) the game application.

  Press menu, and if the compatibility mode is enabled, select Disable.

  Save the option. Then do a battery pull.

  No data will be lost when you do the following: remove the battery while the device is activated. Remplacer replace after one minute, let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is corrected.

  Look in the folder for the notebook applications.

  Make sure that you scroll all the way up inside the folder that the first line of icons

  is not always where the display begins.

  On the issue of Roxio Manager by 'continually wants to load' Please explain the message you see.

But I still have the same question. I see an icon at the bottom right of my window that says: "Device disconnected", while in the box PIN number it says, 'NONE '. I don't know if the problem is with the USB cable. When it is connected to my phone, the phone is in charging mode.

  Any advice on what to do?

  Most of the time a simple battery pull will correct this problem.

  Try to do a battery pull... Remove the battery with device 'ON' wait 20-30 seconds and replace the battery, wait for the device to restart (reboot may take up to 2 minuets)

  Mine will also do what you explain and a battery pull will clear up right ir.

  Is it normal that my Blackberry Storm restart itself? This doesn't happen all the time, seems like once a month or more, and while it is sheathed. How will I know it's "restart" while it is holstered? Usually, I unholster to control the time, as I did today and it has been restarted. My O.S. is 4.7.0.148. I had this problem before with the previous OS (. 75), not a big deal, but a bit irritating when to call out or something, wait until the reboot is complete. Had "quickpull' installed, but deleted because there may be other problems. Wait until the next OS comes out to stop the random reboots?

  One thing about VZW (and all CDMA carriers, I think) which is known to improve reboot situation is to detach the SIM card. It doesn't help anything, and reboot to mitigate it. I know it from my own experience.
