Smartphones blackBerry sync multiple MS Outlook contacts files

Hello.  I have several (4) Contact files in MS Outlook.  At first I sync was the main Contact file.  I have three more and when I choose / Browse another folder, I see only a different contacts folder which I put as a default and sync.  My question is how can I configure Outlook to recognize my other records of Contact (2)?  Weffy

Hello... I thought about it.  I needed to move contact files in the folder list in Outlook to send the list under the heading the main Contact list all affairs.  In sync'ing, I was able to browse the list of contacts. Add and then of sinc.

Hope this helps everyone (the moving folder was not obvious)

My blackberry calendar, I have 5 accounts of other calendar related to 5 different email accounts: work, school, staff, facebook, device.  Each event appears with a different color, and this is very useful for me.

Default (CICAL and CMIME) are both the personal e-mail account.

Calendar entries under the personal e-mail account and the only one that allows to synchronize in my outlook.  Even if I create the calendar event in outlook and sync it on my blackberry, it comes out as personal messaging.

    Here's what I want:

one) to be able to synchronize all calendars BlackBerry to outlook.

    (b) when I create something in my outlook, it syncs to my blackberry as 'work '.

    (c) Optional: capacity, if possible, to choose those to sync.  For instance, synchronize all the calendar events blackberry to outlook with the exception of the facebook calendar events

    Help, please.  Thank you!

The Desktop Manager only syncs with calendar CICAL default on the device.

  • Problems of Smartphones blackBerry sync with outlook, following a back up and restore

It gave me a new BlackBerry "BOLD" device to replace a defective. I did a sync with my outlook, contacts etc. calendar so all the information was up-to-date and then backed up all my data from the original handset. I then successfully restored all of this data to the new remote control.

Since I was not able to properly synchronize my phone with outlook. the blackberry desktop manager no longer link the contacts in outlook with the correct contacts on the handset. It so happens with messages with "resolutions of conflict" where he compares with Emma Smith on the BlackBerry smartphone, contact for example John Smith on outlook - have nothing to do with eachother. Both Outlook and the handset have the same information, but they are more link successfully.

I wondered if it has something to do with how contacts are identified by the Office Manager and if restore information from the new remote control has changed that on the device?

As I have more than 600 contacts, I am very concerned about doing the wrong thing and lose vital information and so far nobody's confidence was able to tell me what to do.

Please can someone help me solve this problem?

    Thank you

    MarijkeV

If you have the data synchronized in Outlook as a backup, you will be ok. You can also use the backup and restore utility to perform another backup of the databases on the device.

If you delete this folder, you will lose any information on the BlackBerry or Outlook. Start with the Desktop Manager closed before deleting this file. After that you remove it, connect the BlackBerry to your computer, then open the Desktop Manager.

From the Desktop Manager 4.3, I think, the icon you would go in to reconfigure the settins would sync | Synchronize

  • Troubled Smartphone blackBerry sync Blackberry Curve 8530 for Outlook

I have a new Blackberry Curve 8530.  When I put in place, I was able to sync my calendar Outlook for the BB but not my contacts.  I was unable to sync my contacts because it says that my BB has been implemented for wireless synchronization.  I tried to follow the instructions for tea off wireless sync, but when I go into options in my contacts there is no wireless synchronization field to change.  What Miss me?

Also, I've updated my operating system, and now I am unable to sync my calendar.  When I try to select data from the organiser at synronize, it wont let me select Calendar because it is said that schedule is not installed (and it won't let me select address book, because he says that it is wireless synchronization).   I reinstalled my BB Desktop software, and I read on another post that gmail can be a problem, so I don't have my gmail account on my BB. Help!

When I open my BB Desktop manager on my computer, I get a message saying "unknown error reported," it's why I reinstalled my Destop software, but I still receive this message after reinstalling.

    Thank you.

It is once again the OP who has now solved its problem.  In case anyone has the same problem, it turns out that you cannot synchronize your bb to a VPN calendar.  So, I managed to change my default calendar for gmail by going to Options and then Advanced Options, and then click default Services - you can select your default calendar and address books here.

Like others on this forum, I lost my keyboard lock when I upgraded, and I am following to the other threads on this issue.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones to BB Bold 9780 Outlook Contacts synchronization problem

A few weeks ago, when I started to sync my Outlook Contacts to my BB, a message window pops up letting me know that RIM is no more using the same method to do.  Since then, I was unable to carry out a synchronization.

When I start a synchronization, first of all, he said "Have information of the State of the BB address book" and reads all of the records quickly, then he said "Have information state of Outlook Contacts" and reads all of the records quickly. After that, he said 'get more information state of Outlook Contacts", but underneath, what is said"Card reading 1", then"read 2 records", etc as there are records.  She does very slowly, as it takes 20 minutes to read 50 records and I have 1900 records.

    I called T-Mobile, they couldn't help me.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the desktop software.  I have updated the software of BB. None of these permits.

Last night, I left my BB plugged to the computer at night to see if she would complement all.  In the morning, the BB Desktop Software had closed and the contacts were not properly synchronized.

Help!  I need contacts on my phone.

Hi - I'm the one who reported the problem at first.  I found the CD Moose comes with the phone and installed the old version 6.0 of the BB Desktop software.  My Outlook Contacts now synchronize very well, as they did before.  This seems to have solved the problem.  Maybe the other person with the same problem can do the same thing.  The other thread has a link to older versions of the software, but I hesitated to use because he said it was for Verizon and I have T-Mobile, but if I could not find my old CD, I would have given a trial.  I mention this just in case you do not have the CD.  Many thanks to those who helped and good luck to others with this issue.

  • Smartphones blackBerry sync with outlook express problem

I seem to get my "BOLD" to synchronize perfectly, everything except my contacts. I can sync with Yahoo, but when I want to synchronize with Outlook Express (the one I want to use), I get an error message. When I try to sync DM compares my contacts to Outlook contacts and tells my there are two changes to be made. I agree with the changes, and then this error message is displayed "connector specific error". This happens when I synchronize using USB or Bluetooth. Please help me!

Note the two contacts, and delete them entirely, then sync, then enter again. Paper rocks.

  • Smartphones blackBerry sync Blackberry "BOLD" with Outlook 2000

I just bought a blackberry "BOLD" and I went to sync it with my computer at work, that has Outlook 2000 on him.  I installed the synchronization software and when I went to install my synchronization properties not showed Outlook as an option.  ATT, I called and they told me that the Desktop Software 4.6 doesn't support outlook 2000, but the blackberry "BOLD" does not support a different version of the desktop software.  So I'm stuck between the hammer and the anvil.  Is there a way around this (other than the obvious improvement my Outlook) known. Or are there other programs on IE companion link or something like that let you synchronize my blackberry to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Phillips

I finally got my phone synced with my Outlook 2000 to work.  However, you must use the 3rd party app Companion Link.  In addition, it must be the most up-to-date version (V3). Link companion works with Desktop Manager to synchronize with the configuration of the office for a 'add-in' program manager, then I put everything in place through related link, including programs that I would use.  If anyone has found a way to sync without the help of a third party app please let me know.

    Thank you

  • Local Q10 blackBerry sync of calendar and contacts, not business, not of wireless

I'm just a user who doesn't want my calendar or contacts in everyone 'cloud.'  If I understand it right now, there is no synchronization local, wired or wireless, between his computer and his Q10.  Is this correct?  If so,.

    1. when they finally made 'working on it', it will be just a software update not involving only not a new material, right? and

    2. in the meantime, if we can not 'sync' in the way that was done in the past, is there a way to transfer the calendar updated periodically and contact with the supplied data link option, like you would with photos etc?

    Hello

In my humble OPINION, the best way to manage the massive file management activity is not via the interface of the device. Rather, mass storage Mode can treat your BB as a USB on your computer and use your computer interface to manage your files:

  • Smartphones blackBerry synchronization with MS Outlook calendar

I used my BB with MS Outlook calendar. So far it works very well. Recently, a few articles on my Outlook calendar disappeared, but are still on my BB calendar.

How can I get these items on the BB to sync to my Outlook calendar? Is this possible.

    I appreciate any help.

    Thank you

    Tamara

sounds like a problem of multi calendar

Open your calendar on your BB, click options and meu

under fat calendars that make you see (address email, facebook, default of the unit?)

Click on each of them and see what is the number of entries for each

next go back to your home screen, go to options (for wheel) and then advanced options, default sevrices

only one of these elements under fat calendars earlier is mentioned here beside CICAL?

If you had entered with more than 1, you have a problem of multical

one who is by default would be that you synchronize successfully, the other calendars that had entered and are by default not wouldn't entries do not sync

There is a new article that can help you with m, new multicals for whoever you want by default
