  • BlackBerry Smartphones and the memory card applications

is there a way to downloap applications on the memory card and run those apps on the card?

You can for some applications only and it is a minority, as most of the applications cannot be implemented with external memory

Example is recipes Halloween BEIKS for BlackBerry

This product is specially optimized for minimum memory requirements and optimal access speed. It can be installed on a primary or on a media card extension and once installed memory, do not require or use the network connection.

  • Smartphones blackBerry memory card question

I want to delete everything on my memory card 2 GB SD. How do I do this on my BB 8310 curve? And which will remove all the songs and the names of the songs out of the list of songs of music and media? Thanks for the help.

Use the Options > Media Card > Menu > command Format, and yes it will completely erase ALL the music on the map card. If you have music on the device's memory, it is not clear that.

Similarly, playlists, etc., are stored in the device memory. But after that you have the formatted card playlists should clearly where the songs on the map of support have been removed.

  • Smartphones with Blackberry Bold 9700 blackBerry memory cards

Anyone know when the memory cards will be available for the Blackbery Bold 9700?  Also, it is clear that Bold 9700 phones purchased now in the United States through AT & T accepts memory cards when they are issued, or is there a reason why they can be incompatible?

    Hi again,

Each company determines the level of the BONE they will be based on a particular model of BB that they resell. There is therefore no way of knowing what they ship their newly sold models with... you might can get to answer this question. But, given that it is a very recent model, I expect to have the latest OS levels, which supports up to 32 GB cards.

Regarding RIM branded media cards, I've never heard of such a thing. For example, my BB came with a SanDisk card brand media. SD cards are generic enough... There is not (to my knowledge) that are made to work only with one instrument or another. They are designed as generic storage devices that work inside of any device that takes care of their abilities.

Finally, there is nothing you can take these forums concerning everything that is future-oriented. If anyone here knows, they are specifically excluded from reveal whatever it is facing the future with authority. Therefore, what I said is my opinion on what will be the future - but it is not guaranteed in any way, shape, or form.

    Good luck!

  • Decryption of Z10 blackBerry memory card

    Hi Gyus,

Facing a small problem. I use a BB Z10 device. I have configured Outlook to check my e-mail from office on the device. In doing so, the memory card has been encrypted. After that I had to change the device from the Service because it was not working properly.

Now I have a new Z10 (a new replaced one since the Service Center), however, every time I insert the memory card, it does not work. I know it has been encrypted on the ealrier device. My question is how to use the same memory card without losing all its data.

Hope you have understood my problem. Let me know if you need some info. Help much appriciated.

    AK

The only way to be able to use the memory is either UN-encrypt the device / operating system that was used to encrypt, or simply start from scratch and shaped

Once the map that was encrypted in a device, it only will be unencrypted using the same device as long as the operating system not been reloaded

  • Smartphone vs blackBerry MicroSD card MicroSDHC for my 8220

I have a new Blackberry Pearl Flip 8220.  The microSD card that comes with it is too small, so I'll update.  Can I use a microSDHC card, or do I stick to the microSD cards (which are smaller)?

    Thank you

Unless your device is very old, the limit is one of the OS device. See this KB:

  • Smartphone Media blackBerry 9700 cards

    Hello

We are looking for the purchase of some 9700 devices since the test users comments are positive.

However - we have a single query. Some devices will see media cards and other cards don't.

Without actually opening the unit to check if a card is physically there, anyone know if there is a way to check if a card is used to save data?

Second, if a user HAD a card multimedia and wanted to move data to memory embedded, how that would be done?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, on the screen of the device, go to Options > memory and you will see the presence (or not) of a press card.

A user can move some data from the media icon > Explore > by accessing to the media card, and then to an image file or music and select move > and return to the device memory and save.

  • BlackBerry smartphones is the blackberry bold 9700 compatible with micro SDHC memory cards?

    Hello

I currently own a Bold 9700 and I use a 2 GB micro sd card that came with it. I was wondering if it would be possible to put a micro SDHC card in the "BOLD"? for ex a 32 GB card? I don't know if the size of a micro SDHC are similar to the micro sd card, so I'm not sure if I need to order a larger memory card.

    Thanks in advance

Yes, the 9700 can take up to a 32 GB Micro SDHC card.

  • Problems of memory card blackBerry Smartphones

Yo, I have a blackberry "BOLD", I had for a few months now, and whatever, there are so few months it says my memory card will not work. Opens with a post on if the lost clusters are found repair them. I click Yes. It has basically not anything. So we thought ok just get a new memory card. Did. And a few months later almost the same thing. But the thing is. There is nothing wrong with the old card memory, work on the Tablet, computer, and other smartphones, even with the new memory card! But it happened after I have it disconnected from the computer to get the files there. And generally, it's going to do something he did not wid da last memory card. It's starting to say there are about 120 songs n the number should increase for a second, then start decress to only 4 silly songs! And he just pretended that there is no pictures there. I tried to update my phone frm blackberry app world, holding the battery, take out the memory card. Nothing works. Corsica, its most likley the phone. Because the memory card is fine on ANY other device! So if anyone can please have the solution to this, that would be great!

Hello and welcome to the community!

From what you describe, I agree that the problem is with the BB to a level of material - and no amount of OS, software, or internet-remote diagnosis can do something about it. If your BB is still under warranty, then seek assistance through this channel (usually from your place of origin of the purchase). If your BB is not under warranty, then you have a difficult decision... you want to know how much someone would charge you for repairs and then decide if it's worth the expenditure only or just buying a new device.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry 8310 Smartphone memory card?

2 months ago, I bought a card SanDisk 4 Gb HC to my local ATT store (my provider is ATT). The map recently failed and the said shop SanDisk does not recommend using their HC cards in Blackberry phones, and therefore they (after an initial runaround) provided a refund.

Not knowing what 4 GB card to buy, I went to the local electronic store bought a 2 GB card cheap on sale.

I would like to have more space. Y at - it a specific 4 GB card that someone could recommend? Alternatively, a 8 GB card when I update to 4.5 (not yet available)?

Thank you. I ordered a SanDisk 8 GB card from an online retailer, whose name appears on the map as being compatible with a BB 8310. The cost of 2 GB and 8 GB is less than the credit I received the Bank of ATT.

    Thank you!

Without doubt, I should mention that some of my problems with my BB was a sufficient case, which allowed my phone to fall to about 50 times. Today I bought a new case and ATT has replaced the phone because the trackball was bad. So, if all goes well, the new phone and the memory card will work.

  • BlackBerry Smartphone memory card issue

I have the 8520 and 8530 is not sure which but I bought a microSDHC memory card is compatible? I'm not sure of the part HC!

    Hello

HC simply refers to "Large capacity", a designation that is placed after that I think that 2GB. But, no question... of compatibility between a memory card and a BB is governed by the size of the media card and the level of operating system running on the BB... see this KB:

    • KB05461 Sizes of card MicroSD taken in charge by the BlackBerry device software

  • Media files to decrypt memory card blackBerry Smartphones

    Hi all

I need to replace my 9900 and got another. Now I want to access my media files, but it seems that I can not decrypt it.

I'm just using the device password.

Is it possible to get all the return?

So finally the solution is very simple:

If you want to access your files encrypted on a memory card, don't forget that your encryption method is set to password security / unit and you must keep the file BlackBerry/system/info.mkf.

After copying this file on my SD card I could access each media file.

Please note that you do not have access on WhatsApp or similar databases, because they use another encryption method, see http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/7.1.0api/net/rim/device/api/database/DatabaseSecurityOptio....
