  I got the phone about 9 months.  I went to activate Bluetooth for the first time today.  As soon as I opened the menu bar and "verified" bluetooth, the phone turns off.  It began to restart... He went through the entire cycle of loading and reach the screen normal, but after 3 seconds stops and restarts again.  Permanently.

  I have:

  -taking the battery (several times): continues

  If your device is non - BB, then substitute in the KB, the instructions appropriate for your device. Unless you're on BB OS 6 or 7, do not skip the step of "Receive using BlueTooth" on the receiver BB... nothing will transfer if you do.

  Unfortunately, I can't get all the files from my two existing phones to transfer via bluetooth. I just get a file error message of transfer on my old phones without further explanation. I paired the up has accepted the passwords, disabled the encryption but nothing, I even sent a picture of my blackberry to an existing phone that went well and I tried to send the file back, but it will just not work.

  While the article is written for the transfer between two BB, simply replace the instructions appropriate for your non - BB device to place the steps in the KB of the transmitter unit. But you must perform the steps on the BB receiver before the opening to send it on the other device.

  Technically, BT file transfer is officially supported between two BBs. But see this KB:

  • KB05409 Transfer a file using Bluetooth technology between two BlackBerry smartphones

  Replace the instructions appropriate for your other device instead of the transmitter unit KB section in the KB. Unless you're on BB OS 6, do not jump 'BT help to receive' step on the BB receiver... nothing will transfer if you do.

  While he references towing of BB, the process is the same for any device from which you want to receive files via BT on your BB... you must have two paired devices (and trust is a good idea as well), configure the receiver BB to receive the file and then start sending the camera source.

  Finally got a blackberry case, it's the only thing sprint has that synchronizes with my mac.  I already love this phone in every way except one.

  My plantronics headset travel stereo bluetooth (with a2dp and avrcp profiles that correspond to the phone) does not work when you listen to the music/tv/video. He worked very well with my motorola and samsung phones, so I don't want to give it up.  Plantronics tells me that the device should work with this phone model. The whole is described on crackberry as compatible.  I can have conversations on the headset in stereo, but no matter what settings I have change / disconnect the battery / re-pair of headphones I still can't make it work. Is there a setting I can change in the phone other than encryption that will solve this problem? Sprint could not help me.   I hope you can, so I do not get this phone.

  Well, I love my blackberry even more now... In more recent versions of Pandora, Slacker, Radio Companion, etc., you can go into the options and select bluetooth or turn on bluetooth in the context menu.  This did not work very well in previous versions or did not even exist in Pandora.  I continued to try newer versions and now all three programs I tried to work reliable with bluetooth stereo.  So I left my blackberry on the other side of the gym until I realize he had disappeared and he has not yet cut.  Hoping soon too SprinTV updated!  Thank you for we hear on RIM HERE!   Nope... it's the procedure. Both devices must be involved. I advise that they mark again each other as trusted. Then, on the BB receiver, you need to do the "Receive using BT" command and then only Initializes the sending of the transmitter unit. This is how it works. The error "Failed to find the service" is documented as happening when the exact steps are not met. Most people skip the step of "Receive using BT"... without it, nothing will happen.

  I used to use the option "Receive via Bluetooth" in the media to receive files from my PC, but suddenly I don't have this option more and my BT is enabled and combined.

  To receive files via bluetooth... go to media > music > menu (blackberry sing) > select receive via bluetooth and the same file executable seendd to pair device.

  have a 8310 and a Motorola H700 bluetooth headset.  Voice dialing from the headset worked fine when I first set up, now I get a single short low tone when I press the call button on the headset and it does not "say a command" no more.  Orders voice work very well through the headset if launched from the phone.  I have re-couple to the headset (several times).  I tried my helmet on my wife's phone, and he began composing voice as it should.  I tried his H700 to my phone and it has the same symptoms.

  Any ideas?

  Problem solved.  I out the battery for a few minutes and the phone then restarted when I put back it. Now it works perfectly, as before.
