SmartSound Music

Hello

When I order a piece of music, quality home, rather than Pro quality will be good enough for an amateur production? It will not be broadcast on television, just to play from a computer or a DVD player.

Thank you.

Yes. Their 22 kHz material is pretty good. Many years ago, I picked up their set set 'Home Movie', at a really good price. I have never regretted that purchase, because I used pieces from this "compilation" for these years. I heard not their FRIEND (IDE) to 22 kHz music series, but guess that the quality of it up to the 'Home Movie' can be found. Now, I have a lot of cuts in this 22HKz game, but duplicated in 44 kHz from other libraries, and I can barely tell the difference. I do not hesitate to put in a cup of that one, right next to that of the series of strata, who has been treated in SonicFire Pro. I think this 22 kHz material is a real bargain.

I'm about to put in place an article in the Sub-forum tips & tricks on SmartSound. It is in fact cut to the SmartSound being edited for accuracy right now. I expect to get the email back in the late activity (PST) today. If you have any other questions of SmartSound, you might find the answers in this article. If this isn't the case, feel free to ask.

Good luck

PS they have a sale on some of their other music now

    Hello

    Here's the problem:

I have an error message pop up saying ' impossible to acquire the serial number for the Expressway. Please make sure that you are connected to the Internet and

If you use Sonicfire Pro 5.0 by 5.7.4, download and install the patch 5.7.5. Sonicfire Pro 5.7.5 is compatible on Win XP, Vista, Win 7 and Win 8.

There is a link to download the patch version 5.7.5.

I applied the patch and have the following entries in the control panel:

The last time that I have successfully used SmartSound with EP 11 on my old computer with Windows 7 Professional some time ago and had no problem.

I installed on my new computer with Windows 8.1 EP 11 and working on a new project. Everything's fine (mounting clips, menu, etc.) until I decided to add through SmartSound music.

  • First items 12, insertion of Photos in the timeline, using transitions, insertion of music

I recently spent the first items 8 to 12, after discovery of this 'expert' looked allot more like what I was used to I was able to start a new project. However, I don't consider myself 'expert '.

That said I have a few questions:

    1. I used to be able to insert pictures and rearrange them in the 'scene' line, I don't see this feature in the first 12 then uses the "calendar" that is there. However I can not insert pictures or move around easily, I get my clips reduce in size. How do I insert new pictures or move them?
    2. Transitions seemed to have been greatly reduced by the availability of them, are they "left in disgrace", I had put a transition inbetween all my clips in my previous projects with 8. Allot of them were simply the function 'clear '. What is recommended with 12?
    3. I didn't learn to add music to this project however noticed that he has assigned different models available. But I want to be able to add my own music, can you give me tips on 'how to', I just go to 'add media' and get them off my computer and add it to the audio line?

    Thank you advance.

I don't know why these photos should be reduced in size. It should be the same as in your earlier version, that is, as long as you hold down the Alt key on the main keyboard to the computer, with your mouse cursor you drag new file location in the Timeline. Some people like to use the CTRL key instead of the ALT key. I prefer the ALT key.

I prefer the Expert workspace rather than the quick in version 12, but you can always switch the images in the areas of speed film with a click and drag left or right depending on the case. So, I'm not sure what ran you into quick workspace in this regard.

Transitions seemed to have been greatly reduced by the availability of them, are they "left in disgrace", I had put a transition inbetween all my clips in my previous projects with 8. Allot of them were simply the function 'clear '. What is recommended with 12?

There are many Transitions in the transition tab when you are in space Expert, much less in the fast workspace. That's what you should see in version 12 experts/area of work/Transitions

This is what you had in version 8.0/8.0.1 under wipes for the timeline.

    3. I did not add music to this project however noticed that he has assigned different models available. But I want to be able to add my own music, can you give me tips on 'how to', I just go to 'add media' and get them off my computer and add it to the audio line?

Same thing as before. Add Media/files and active projects/folders (if Expert workspace). Fast working space that does not 'intermediate' active in the project. Therefore, add media/files and folders / and live in a space scene on film. If you have iTunes music, she may have to convert it to .mp3 or .wav (even again as before).

However, if you are a user of SmartSound soundtrack, the SmartSound function is passed in version 12, which has her counterpart, on the Audio tab of the scores of music and sound effects that end up on the timeline in .wav files. If you have old SmartSound music, they need to be converted to .wav and then files the first 12 items add media.

Please check the above. For any questions or if you need more information, do not hesitate to ask.

    Thank you.

  • SmartSound - 2 copies active?

Although Adobe allows me to load and activate 11 Prem items on two computers, it seems that the content of SmartSound is available only on the first computer.  The sofware SonicFire launches on the second computer, but none of the free SmartSound music titles appear, only 30 seconds audio files that come with 11 Elem Prem.

    Is this true?

Have you spent on the site Web of SmartSound and updated your Sonicfire Pro pre module. With some installations of pre at the beginning, this update was necessary to make things work perfectly.

Sonicfire Pro will notify you usually if you have updates waiting, but it is essentially for Library Manager files. A note on those: with SmartSound, in what was called the Maestro module (don't remember if this name is always used), when you choose the music, you will have some options, notably held by me, on my computer, on the Internet. That last one connects you to the Web of SmartSound site and ALL their music files. By updating your library Manager files, you will have direct access to all about SmartSound - all of their libraries. Now, usually I only owned by me, or checked on my computer unless I need to go beyond my collection and buy a disc, or perhaps a cup of SmartSound.

The update for Sonicfire Pro showed for many users, but by doing that manually update, everyone got SmartSound then work correctly.

I don't have the URL for this update, but know that Bill Sprague which is displayed in a previous thread.

Regarding the. SDS files, as long as you have necessary library, in their default location managers, I just copied my several hundred on when I changed computers. Many date back to about 10 years, and all this hard work.

  • No data when opening trimmed project archived in PE8

I used the project archiver to cut and archive projects on my external hard drive to create a space on my pc. I have one of my projects copied on my pc to work on it again, but when I opened it I got the message "the file seems to have no data media.  All clips and other media are in the archived file size but do not appear in the project when opening - only empty clips, no sound etc in the time line. Only the titles are intact. What happens here? I thought the point of the project archiver was that it made copies of all media, so it didn't matter if they were later deleted or moved. I deleted all the orginal and records related to my pc hard drive projects and burned projects end up on dvd, but I have a few projects I want to see again. Fortunately, I still have most of the original media stored elsewhere so pourrait recreate the projects from scratch as a last resort.

Copy on the project and the structure of the external files, expected bring the media ready.

Now, I do not use any music to iTunes, but I have observed similar with SmartSound. I used to create my music from SmartSound in a separate file, Movie_Music, and with either the archiver, from the PrPro Project Manager (very close together in what they do and how they do it), any SmartSound music would come more. I changed my workflow and create music from SmartSound in a folder within the structure of the project files - everything gets archived now. I can only imagine that it would be the same thing with iTunes, if you were to make a copy of the music from iTunes in a similar, project related folder.

    Good luck

  • Music in ss14

Hello. I just bought ss14 download and installed. I have a new project to start and was eager to see the choices for music included in the program. But, when I click on the music tab, bottom right, there is nothing there. Only a "frequently used" file, which is empty. I'm just looking forward, it will download automatically after a certain time of use?

It looks like what happened in the past - there is a delay of minutes to hours, extreme day, prior to the appearance of sheet music or sound effects. They're all here. All the same as in 13/13.1. Nothing new.

From my blog first elements 14 First Look details

First Elements ATR troubleshooting: first items 14 first look details

The film music has 7 subdivisions and a total of 51 soundtracks free, customizable according to SmartSound concept, but this isn't SmartSound. The subdivisions of the music of the film and the number of soundtracks in them are ambient (6), air (8), Blues (2), countries (5), Pop-Rock (22), urban (4) and (5) weddings. The choices seem to be of any type of content download.

Sound effects has 13 subdivisions and a total of 268 for free sound effects. Subcategories of sound effects and the number of sound effects in them are atmosphere (49), animals (10), the effects of cartoon (20), (10) accidents, fires and Explosions (18), Foley (30), Impacts (20), industry (10), liquids (10), science fiction (30), technology (30) transport (11) and weather (20). The choices seem to be all full content.

I'm still working test of first elements 14 64 bit Windows. Score music and sounds effects arrived timely with the Adobe trial download. Did you setup with antivirus and firewall disabled? You have restarted the computer at least once since installation.

All files and folder in the disk hard recording the location (folder online) for these partitions of music and sound effects.

  • Lesson 9 adding background music

In Lesson 9 "music for creation" I did steps 1-11as done and everything was fine until step 12. In step 12, you press the ' send' button to send the music to the timeline clip, however, when I hit the button 'Send' in step 12, it launches my browser and sends me to the web page of SmartSound to buy their professional SmartSound Software.

Anyone has a solution for this so that this step works as described in the lesson.

  • commercial use of music videos

Can I use the free music clips in Premiere Elements for commercial use in videos? Or how about if they just on youtube but non-commercial?

The SmartSound license requires that when used in sync works, "the music part of the media is not retrievable and extractable in its original form' - which means it should be mixed with something (dialogue, ambient, etc.).

  • SmartSound

How can I reinstall the smartsound provided with PE9 titles. I seem to be missing a couple.

Your purchased SmartSound tracks should not affect in any way.

With SmartSound, you have two places, where the music will be placed. The first will be C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application SmartSound Inc., and the other will be where you found the actual music files. Those who may be in the same hierarchy or different. The first is for library management, encoding, exporters, previews, etc...

I backup the current music files and to do so from time to time, just in case where. While I have all my records, I don't want to reinstall all those that I also use Sonicfire Pro and requires a different installation, in many cases.

  • Royalty Free Music is compatible with Windows 7 64 bit

I just loaded CS4 on a 64-bit Windows 7 computer. I was using SonicFire 5 for my background music in Premiere CS4. Windows 7 has a limited list of compatible and SonicFire Pro 5 software is not on it. I would like to know what everyone uses for royalty-free music and Windows 64.

    Thank you

    Art

My guess is that if Sonicfire Pro 5 does not work on Win7-64, that Smartsound will soon have an update. It must run in mode 32-bit auto, but I don't know this for a fact. Have you tried Sonicfire Pro 5 on Win7-64, regardless of what the table of compatibility? That's happened?

Also, Smartsound has a great technical/customer support program and will be happy to help you. If you do an update for Sonicfire Pro 5 they can tell you the status of said.

With respect to sound files, there should be no problem, because they are just media files. WAV, or similar.

  • How can smartsounds and Sonic Pro 5 in first Pro CS3?

I used way back smartsounds in first Adobe 6.0 when it comes with Adobe. It was the lap of bees for the addition of noise.

It has not been incorporated by Adobe in versions of CS and now I tried Sonic Pro 5 with CS3 and found that although it recognizes clips in any project he falls wrong just when it is needed.  I mean if we then assembles the individual elements in a timeline and then save this chronology that Sonic Pro is not the calendar as there doesn't seem to be able to support the calendar format.

    Therefore, I have 3 problems: -.

    1. how can you import a timeline into Sonic Pro so you can use the process of smartsound?

    2. I have the expressways of Smartsound for Adobe Premier 6.0 and Sonic Pro cannot recognize these entirely so the feature in Sonic Pro can not be used.  Is there a way to turn it?

    3. I own a library of copyright free music that is not part of the range of smartsound.  Is it possible to use this music in Sonic Pro or it works with their titles?

Sonic Pro and Smartsounds information is welcome.

    Barry,

If the idea is to create familiar the exact length of your timeline first what I did is:

1, open the Sonic Fire Pro 5 and Premiere CS3 files.

    2. in the first, select the sequence you want to create the music and the ILT at the end of the ending sequence.

    3. then click on the blue numbers on the top left of the window of the sequence.  Right-click on the number, and then select COPY.

    4. then go to Sonic FP5 and in the Express Lane window, select your music.

    5. then in the area of 'Length' clear the number it and right click and paste the first number.

    6. then click on Options and select the sound track of the export.

    7. you select some audio file named naturally in your overall project for the destination and then return to the first and import the audio into your open project, and then drag the track down to your sequence.

In this way, you don't have to create a "proxy" track for import into Sonic.

    Just a thought.

  • SmartSound - Insert the CD of smartsound library?

Hello to everyone here. This is my first post.

I recently bought and installed the first Elements 7 and everything seemed to happen except that I got an error message when you try to save the forest from smartsound. He told me I could jump record and do it later on their Web site.

When I try to use smartsound in PE7, I select the music I want to (that I own), and he then asks me to insert the CD of smartsound library. I put the PE7 back disc in the player, but he has his nose in that and won't load anything. Then I have to cancel.

    What Miss me here people?

The selections above gives me a choice of 4 titles that are indicated as coming from the library "full spectrum 22 k. I chose the guitar of Bach and in the information area display location mounted CD.

I click on select and it is when people ask me for the CD.

Thanks for the info. This indicates that the full spectrum of SmartSound 22 k Sound Files are NOT installed on your system or that QuickTracks does not know that they are installed.

Do a thorough search of the system for "Guitar Bach 22k.sds." Is this file which that is on your system? If Yes, where? If this isn't the case, look on your installation disc and use Windows Explorer to navigate around. As I have not PrE7 or its installation disk, I can't really help much. However, as is usually the case with Adobe products, there will be a folder in the sense of "Goodies", although they may have dropped the term in favor of something, uh more "professional." It can also be something as "Third party", or maybe even a clearly visible "SmartSound" folder. I highly doubt that the files of the range (I'll go and get all the files in this library for you) are compressed / archive somehow.

When you find them, you'll want to copy on your system. Now, this is important. Open PrE7 and chose this new icon to launch SmartSound (unless it presents differently in the PrE7). At the top of the graphical interface that appears, you should see something like tools > Options. Go to the files tab, and then open it. You should see the location of SmartSound will seek to find the sound files. This will have a small icon 'report' next to it. My guess is that, unless you changed something, it will be the C:\Documents & Settings\\\Sound Files folder. Check this. If so, then with Windows Explorer, copy all of the. SDS files in this folder.

At this point, I would go back to tools > Options and first open the libraries tab verify that the range is here. Then go to the tab Migration (unless things have changed with the PrE7) and do find hard drives. It will track all. SDD on your system. Sometimes, this process takes some time, depending on the size and speed of its system. If the. SDS files had not been "registered" before and it does not sound as if they were, it will now update your libraries and the database.

Now, you should have all your. Files of SDS where they belong. If there are other libraries that are included on the PrE7 installation disc, copy all the. SDS files too the sound folder. If you find more of the range, do before doing the migration operation, you don't have to repeat this process. With about 8 TB of storage on my desktop, even with a fast system, migration takes about 1/2 hour to complete the survey.

If you have any problems, feel free to provide details and request. I'll do what I can. It may also be useful if someone could watch on their PrE7 installation disc and help us find the SmartSound. SDS files on it. I wish I could help, but have simply not this program, so I'm guessing and flying blind here.

    Good luck
