  11 automatically installed PE SmartSound SonicFire Pro5 worm. 5.7.3. and when I click on the button < use SmartSound >

  I have an error message pop up saying ' impossible to acquire the serial number for the Expressway. Please make sure that you are connected to the Internet and

  Click OK to try again "."

  When you click on 'OK', another pop up asks Serial # you can't since according to the site SmarSound "the new serial numbers for versions of Sonicfire Pro less than 5.8 y is no longer available."

  It is also noted that

  If you use Sonicfire Pro 5.0 by 5.7.4, download and install the patch 5.7.5. Sonicfire Pro 5.7.5 is compatible on Win XP, Vista, Win 7 and Win 8.

  I applied the patch and have the following entries in the control panel:

  When I tried to run SmartSound in EP 11, I got the same error as before. Nothing has changed!

  The last time that I have successfully used SmartSound with EP 11 on my old computer with Windows 7 Professional some time ago and had no problem.

  I installed on my new computer with Windows 8.1 EP 11 and working on a new project. Everything's fine (mounting clips, menu, etc.) until I decided to add through SmartSound music.

  but here are the details of how to get your first items 11 8.1 Windows 64bits SmartSound

  work function (it worked for me)...

  STEP 1

  Get a new free serial number

  According to Frank of the SmartSound Customer Service

  For now, all users who need a serial number free elements can write to us at [email protected], preferably after you create an account online from SmartSound, and we can provide a serial number in this way.

  STEP 2

  Enter the new serial number free SonicfirePro5.Exe

  With Premiere elements 11 closed...

  Local disk C

  Program Files (x 86)

  SmartSound Software

  Sonicfire Pro 5

  and in the record of 5 Sonicfire Pro, is the SonicfirePro5.exe that opens by double clicking it.

  Enter the new serial number to unlock Sonicfire Pro and apply all updates.

  STEP 3

  Then, the application of the hotfix update to work with Sonicfire Pro 5.7.5

  If less 5.7.5 SmartSound Sonicfire Pro recommends application of the update patch so that 5.7.5 is used. See http://www.smartsound.com/support/updates/?product=sfp5

  STEP 4

  Open first elements 11 to find a job in music tab / "Use SmartSound" characteristic.

• SmartSound.zip does not seem to be an archive valid

  I followed the instructions to install SmartSound in first elements 11 on my 64 bit Windows 7 computer and went to install SmartSound | Windows 32-bit and 64-bit. The zip file I downloaded seems to be corrupted. What can I do?

  Work with Premiere elements 11 I received the message that Smartsound SonicFire Pro has not been found.

  What can I do? I downloaded the first, shoud I reinstall it?

  It is likely that SmartSound has not been completely installed yet.

  See this article of tips & tricks for both a view overall and then downstairs, the location of the patch/SmartsoundSonicfire Pro, which is necessary.

• How to use Smartsound?

  SmartSound.com site is apparently down.  I don't know if this is permanent or a long-standing issue.  If Smatsound is not available is their another way to use your own music collected in the elements of Prime Minister.

  I get an error 502 Bad Gateway with their website too (two different browsers).

  A few possibilities:

  In the United States, a three-day holiday weekend - labor day and a server crashed

  Maintenance done

  Denial of Service

  Node in the Internet out of sync

  Something else

  As I just received notice that they had a sale of the labour day, I do not think that he would have chosen to do the maintenance, but stranger things have happened. I would speculate that it is another question.

• SmartSound - 2 copies active?

  Although Adobe allows me to load and activate 11 Prem items on two computers, it seems that the content of SmartSound is available only on the first computer.  The sofware SonicFire launches on the second computer, but none of the free SmartSound music titles appear, only 30 seconds audio files that come with 11 Elem Prem.

  Have you spent on the site Web of SmartSound and updated your Sonicfire Pro pre module. With some installations of pre at the beginning, this update was necessary to make things work perfectly.

  Sonicfire Pro will notify you usually if you have updates waiting, but it is essentially for Library Manager files. A note on those: with SmartSound, in what was called the Maestro module (don't remember if this name is always used), when you choose the music, you will have some options, notably held by me, on my computer, on the Internet. That last one connects you to the Web of SmartSound site and ALL their music files. By updating your library Manager files, you will have direct access to all about SmartSound - all of their libraries. Now, usually I only owned by me, or checked on my computer unless I need to go beyond my collection and buy a disc, or perhaps a cup of SmartSound.

  The update for Sonicfire Pro showed for many users, but by doing that manually update, everyone got SmartSound then work correctly.

  I don't have the URL for this update, but know that Bill Sprague which is displayed in a previous thread.

  Regarding the. SDS files, as long as you have necessary library, in their default location managers, I just copied my several hundred on when I changed computers. Many date back to about 10 years, and all this hard work.

• I am trying to download SmartSound while making a video

  I made a video of several clips video and photos and want to download SmartSound.  I followed the instructions but when prompted to access to, retrieve location > \SmartSound etc, then asked to double click on the exe to install, I do not get the prompt to install exe required.  Nothing happens.  I use Windows 8. Any help would be appreciated.

  I bought Adobe Premiere elements 11. Now, I wanted to install Smartsound Sonicfire Pro 5 which has been downloaded through the sound tab, but it requires a series-#. Where I don't get that?

  If you follow the instructions on the pop-up, you will see that the serial number is free. It is emailed to you when you click on the link and follow the prompts.

  This will complete the installation of SmartSound ExpressTracks. However, Sonic Fire Pro is your on a 30 day free trial. After that, it costs $99. Fortunately, even if it opens when you launch SmartSound, you need not fire Sonic Pro to be activated and paid to use ExpressTracks.

  Simply click on the link in the pop up window to get your free serial number.

  I've been messing around with PSE10 for a few hours now and no matter what I try, I can't do audio to work right.

  I have some video with my gopro from the outside of my car.  I want to remove the soundtrack of the video because it's all the sounds of wind.  It does not allow me to delete with out also delete the video.

  The other issue I'm having is with Smart Sound.

  I'm trying to get it to load so I can add a soundtrack.  I can't find how to load.

  "In the menu Tools Audio in the timeline panel, select SmartSound."

  When I go in the timeline panel there is no audio tools to select. I know that I have to download the tracks first.  I can not even find out who.

  To remove audio I usually just click with the right button, the unlink Audio and video, select the audio track, click on remove:

• SmartSound does not work

  Just installed PRE 10 and tried to use SmartSound for the first time, I get a window to appear (Smartsound Adobe Plugin 32) that says: "error: could not run Sonicfire Pro.» Please make sure you Sonicfire Pro is 5.7 or greater is installed correctly and try again. "I hit 'ok' and another window opens saying - (Smartsound Adobe Plugin 32) -"cannot start sonicfire pro. Please reinstall the application and try again. "I hit OK now what? I tried to uninstall the content, then the PRE software and reinstalling everything, but I get the same message when I click on smartsound. What is the solution? Thank you

  The program could be in conflict with something else on your system. Or there might be another problem that is not obvious from your post. For example, you may have installed the 32-bit version of the program on Windows 7 64-bit.

  In the meantime, you can download and install the program directly from SmartSound site.

• SmartSound Quicktracks for CS5

  The third party for CS5 page talks a new quicktracks plugin for CS5.  However the Smartsound said now that CS5 is not taken care of.  Is it just that he is still developing and will come along much later (as it did for CS4) or is it available now?

  SmartSound has worked closely with Adobe on the CS5 QuickTracks plug-in. CS4 changed things enough that the plug in QT must be reworked, previous versions of PrPro. Adobe has been slow to out the SDK for 3rd party, while he was late in the life of CS4, the plugin QT became available. Adobe and SmartSound began to work in CS5 as soon as possible, but the x 64 appearance meant a total re - write, and more changes in the management of Audio in CS5. Which slowed things, but my sources tell me that the work progresses. It is also expected for Sonicfire Pro plugin for PrPro, such as for the PCF. Do not know the exact location of one of the plug-in development.

  In the meantime, version Sonicfire Pro 5 titles of the Express is available for free, with the purchase of the any disks multi-coated, like the series of strata. Note that this is a stand-alone application, but works very well. You can buy scoring edition also, and that adds a lot of power with these multi-layered discs. It is the version that is developing as a plug-in of PrPro. Hoping that SmartSound has succeeded in this development, just like with the plug-in for CS5 and 64 QuickTracks OS x.

  If I get a word on release dates, I will update this thread.

• Problem of SmartSound

  Hi all.

  I installed and registered BEFORE. If, however, I try to use smartsound I get the following error.

  "The required Quicktime components are not available. Please re - install quicktime and choose "install recommended".  A 'minimum Install' will not work with smartsound. »

  I am not Quicktime. I'm guessing that's not referring to Quicktime player then where can I get quicktine of?

  Yes. Their 22 kHz material is pretty good. Many years ago, I picked up their set set 'Home Movie', at a really good price. I have never regretted that purchase, because I used pieces from this "compilation" for these years. I heard not their FRIEND (IDE) to 22 kHz music series, but guess that the quality of it up to the 'Home Movie' can be found. Now, I have a lot of cuts in this 22HKz game, but duplicated in 44 kHz from other libraries, and I can barely tell the difference. I do not hesitate to put in a cup of that one, right next to that of the series of strata, who has been treated in SonicFire Pro. I think this 22 kHz material is a real bargain.

  I'm about to put in place an article in the Sub-forum tips & tricks on SmartSound. It is in fact cut to the SmartSound being edited for accuracy right now.
