• Creating hidden snapshots?

  My eq is PS6210E model 70-0425. A cluster of hyper-v (4 guests) connects via iSCSI.

  The SAN, I configured 4 instant and for replacement if necessary.

  However, I see a lot more snapshots for each volume this empty space volume... and I see that are requested by the hyper-v via the VSS hardware provider hosts. So, I opened the Auto Snapshot Manager on each host, but there is NO timetable. I also took a quick glance in the Task Scheduler... but no jobs are configured.

  Where can I look to find this snapshot planning 'ghost '?

  I am unable to do a restore point. There is plenty of space on both partitions.
  Config: A single drive with 2 partitions, one primary and one extended logical partition with Windows 8 on logic in dual boot with Windows 7 on the primary. The restore point creation in Win7 works OK but in Win8 it never worked alhthough all parameters seem to be OK.

  From the description, it seems that the error revceive you associated with VSS snapshot.

  1. What security software is installed on the computer?
  2. Do you have any third-party backup program installed on the computer?

  To begin troubleshooting, I would suggest that you do Check Disk

  • Press Windows key + R
  • Type "cmd" to open the command prompt.
  • Type Chkdsk/r , and press enter.

  Note:

  If all available hard disk data can be lost when running chkdsk, as the chkdsk attempts to repair the affected area.

  Reply with more information about the issue so that we can help you further.

  I had the same problem with a HP dv5000 has an Intel Dual Core processor, after installed the 10 Pro Update window cleaning, after the update sent by Windows Update Service left me with this problem.

• Ghost networks stick with VMs (even after the removal of NIC)

  I spin in network with my VMs I problems using ESXi 5 hosts in cluster using the vsphere 5. I have a few virtual machines when I change their network from one network to the other cards (i.e. "private" to the 'private' criterion), instead of replacing the old network for a new, a new is added, and the rest of the old network. However, the assigned NIC is always assigned to the new network, and now I have no way to remove the old virtual machine network. (See attached image)

  In addition, I then tried to re-assigned the NIC of 'Private Test' to 'Private' and in the Summary tab, the number of awarded networks returned to 1, and the VM now haven't had 'private' as an assigned network.

  I then tried to remove the map NETWORK overall, in the hopes that assign out of the virtual machine of the "Private" network Well, it does not either. Now, even without a NETWORK card, the Summary tab of the still VM shows being assigned to the "Private" network

  I'm sure someone has posted something on this kind of bug before. So, can someone please point me in the right direction.

  I just tested some things. Have you checked if your virtual machines have snapshots?

  All my VMs showing ghost networks had snapshots. Delete snapshots deleted phantom networks.

  I had a time Capsule 2 TB which showered, and I started a new backup (a USB key) by mode Apple drive. It took me a while to return to deal with the old clichés left on my Time Capsule. I found nothing specific online to tell me how to deal with this, so I made a few decisions naïve. I've disabled the Time Machine, renamed my new store backup and copied over the old store backup on the new backup drive time Capsule. Then in a Terminal on the command line, I mvhad snapshot directories in the newly copied backup of the old backup store store renamed folder. NOTE: On this site, I learned about a Time Machine of assistance called bypasscommand, and I needed to use it to move the Flash files in the command line:

  $ sudo mv 2016-09-17-211302 /System/Library/Extensions/TMSafetyNet.kext/Contents/Helpers/bypass.

  .. /.. /Backups.BackupDB/MyMachine /

  At this point, I thought: well, now, I have all my old and new pictures in the active backup store on the local USB drive. Then I turned on the Time Machine, and the first backup failed:

  "An error occurred during the file copying. The problem may be temporary. If the problem persists, use disk utility to repair your backup disk. »

  Then I noticed that Finder shows only most original snapshots while in the Terminal, I see all snapshots using the ls command. All snapshots have the same names in fashion and the owner/group permissions. So, why don't Finder shows all snapshots and why is Time Machine unhappy?

  Given that I can't modify my own * post, here are the corrections and updates of the original:

I'm compression 4 k stuff on dvd and it looks great so far, but only a little problem there is much movement in my film, it of a dance show and no matter what I do, there are Ghost trails on final dvd images other than those that looks very useful! I tried almost everything and so far nothing works... I did a lot of tests and he burned them to test on a DVD TV funny, it's 10 minutes of film with a lot of movement looks great after having been compressed on dvd... but the whole project 1 hour using the same setting a lot of ghosting trails my images is 24 fps or 23.976 something like that... • I have emails ghosts

  AS you can see from the photos below, I have emails ghosts in one of my email accounts that started when I updated to 9.3.5. I would go to the email and it showed 1 unread email, but there was no e-mail. Now it is showing 3 unread emails and there is no emails. I tried everything to get rid of it but it does not work. Can someone give an overview of what's going on? I registered on my account where my email is and there is no email. I deleted junk and trash and erased all uo, but it doesn't do a thing at the level of the mail app on my iPad. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is showing 3 unread, but as you can see, there is nothing there.

  

  You could try to remove and re-add the e-mail account. Force quit the Mail app that could also help.

Recently, I noticed ghost touch which is almost what makes the phone unusable.   My phone have between 1 and 2 years, so Apple is ok to say that the phone is in excellent condition (no shock, as if it is new) but they tell me they can do anything for me! I'm really worried about it. The phone is for the second time to Service my operator Bouygues Telecom... During this time, I don't have my iphone and I am a professional photographer, it is really difficult and annoying to not have my email, my gps, my music, my contacts and so on.

  For me, it's really like planned obsolescence...

• Internal display flicker, ghosts, black flashing

  When you open the lid, the screen started "seers" black, I hear by then the screen will turn on and off, but when on, only show a black screen.  You can see what I mean here. When the internal display turns off, external displays for one second lag.

  Sometimes, the internal display will show what is actually on the screen, but it will flicker severely and superimpose a ghost of the screen on to halfway to the bottom of the screen, visible here.  External poster work very well, although they tear sometimes for a millisecond or two.  The computer works fine, I just can't see what I'm doing.  I am posting this from the computer using an external monitor.

  Steps than to attempt to resolve, I took:

  -J' test to see if it's a problem that the operating system sees or simply the screen by making an entry using Quicktime screen, and no problem in the recorded video.

  -Apple diagnostic test revealed no problems found (reference code: ADP000)

  -Reinstall OS X several times

  -Starts in Bootcamp, same problem with the internal display

  My thought is that it's a bad display cable, the screen inverter or any other Apple diagnostic Test does not cover.  Thanks for any help you can provide!

  I understand your message that your MacBook Pro screen flashes only a black screen, but you can use external screens without problem. I know how much I use my Mac and using an external display is nice, but I do not always want to use a. You did a lot of great troubleshooting so far! An extra step that I would recommend would be to reset the NVRAM.

  This article includes the steps to reset the NVRAM:

  Reset the NVRAM

  1. Stop your Mac.
  2. Look for the following keys on the keyboard: command (⌘), Option, P, and R.
  3. Turn on your Mac.
  4. Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys, immediately after hearing the startup sound.
  5. Hold down these keys until the computer restarts and you hear the tone of starting for a second time.
  6. Release the keys.

• Snapshot, Naming Convention

  Is it possible to change the snapshots naming convention?

  Work on a shared storage system uses NTFS on the back end so "/" is a character not consistent therefore generate snapshots fail.

  Not as far as I know. You should certainly file a feature request for this because by default immediately uses the date/time stamp, which really should not use the /.

• Multiple tabs open when I clik a link to a new tab. Then, do not open or even appear when I try to close with "close all tabs"... they are like "ghost tabs.

  It spent last few days... the tabs are displayed on the tab bar, but do not open upward or close when I try to close... when I tried "close all tabs", who says so "you try to close the 2 tabs", they are not counted as being open... the only way I can get rid of them is Firefox is completely closed and then it starts again. Ghost tabs!

  I solved the problem, but not using the "safe mode".
  After going into safe mode and close and open FF again;
  I then had to dl the latest version of FFox... 33.0 (I had 32.0) online, a friend told me there was an update for it... found 33.0.1.i and dl who had, then restarted my computer.
  I found that the new version had removed many of my fave on my 'personal bar '... icons I have them back by going to this:
  'Classic theme restaurateur' found in 'modules '.
  I didn't add "colorful tabs" again...

  In addition, an easy solution... my mousepad has been 'sticky'... by removing just, my mouse works much better on my desk...

  now, everything is back to normal... no pop up several tabs, even in typing emails is better now as well.

• Parts of low Ghost in my track?

  This got me really puzzled.

  I deleted my audio file of my bass track by mistake and saved the project so I couldn't get it back.

  Rather than do all the lower part again, I copied and pasted a different saved version of the project that I had. No problem. However, in the middle of the song my stuck low part plays very well, but I hear some low playing under the main track low but, when I solo all titles including the bass gtr track, there is no part low ghost to be heard! I tried to remove the glued lower part and the lower part of the Ghost is still there.
