SOA.delete_instances_in_parallel

Hello

I use Oracle version 11.2.0.3.0 and am studying how to clear the old instance of our SOA database audit trails.

I found the "delete_instances_in_parallel" procedure and run it, using a date range specified in the min_creation_date and max_creation_date parameters:

SOA.delete_instances_in_parallel

(min_creation_date = > min_creation_date)

, max_creation_date = > max_creation_date

batch_size = > 500

max_runtime = > 300

, retention_period = > null

DOP = > 4,

, purge_partitioned_component = > false

);

What I find is that some cases that should be eliminated as they fall between the dates are not. They have no State to 'fail', but are instances that have run successfully.

Am I doing anything obviously wrong? Is there another way to get rid old data from the instance that are guaranteed to remove everything between two dates?

Also: is there a script to remove failed instances?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello

You are out of luck... ignore_state was introduced in SOA 11.1.1.7.0...

An obvious solution is to move from 11.1.1.6.0 to 11.1.1.7.0... Maybe this isn't such an easy task, especially with this many cases...

> Instances are listed as being in a "failed" State

Registered where? in EM? What is the exact state in COMPOSITE_INSTANCE and CUBE_INSTANCE (and MEDIATOR_INSTANCE if you use the Ombudsman)...

I have a gap feeling that these instances are in the open state - e.g. State = 3 cube pending (or running with their faults, for example State = 2 in composite_instance)... I'm afraid that the script will not erase those...

https://blogs.Oracle.com/dasoa/entry/list_of_all_states_from

You can go to the EM and leave the bodies in a bulk... Who would then put to a State where they can be purged...

See you soon,.

    Hello

How ASA can be defined on El Capitan DNS server?

The server reports the name of domain (example.com) as SOA indeed, but some services (secondary server DYNDNS services) seems to expect the SOA for the primary server, as in this case ns1.advedi.com

Currently, for the main server, I have a mac mini to the latest version of El capitan server allowing the transfer of area and as secondary servers a (server) 10.6.8 snow leopard running a DNS server secondary DynDNS service.

The two secondary servers report the same problem with the SOA

    domain name: example.com

main server: ns1.example.com (main server, which allows the zone transfer)

secondary server: ns2.example.com (taking ns1.example.com information)

    servcie dynDNS (taking ns1.example.com information)

I don't see on the GUI how to put in place. I need to change the area?

As much as I know, registry operations is unnecessary in the PS3. It was only held in the older versions of IOM (PS1 until I think). You are after all SOA PS3 document and found this step?

    PS3 as follows:

    Set JAVA_HOME to /app/jdk1.6.0_27

    export JAVA_HOME=/app/jdk1.6.0_27/

Set the ANT_HOME Middleware Home/modules/org.apache.ant_1.7.1 environment variable

The value of the PATH environment variable for $JAVA_HOME/bin: $ANT_HOME/bin: $PATH

    export PATH = $JAVA_HOME/bin: $ANT_HOME/bin: $PATH

    Go to the IOM HOME/flow/new_workflow

  • SOA Gateway - timeout when calling a web service custom Pl/SQL using SOAP

    Hello

I developed and deployed my PL/SQL web service custom repository integration SOA Gateway.

The web service works well, but sometimes its execution time exceeds 60 seconds, and I get the following time-out error: java.net.SocketTimeOutException: Read timed out

    Here's my env:

Oracle E-Business Suite integrated SOA Gateway
    12.1.3
IBM AIX on POWER Systems (64-bit)
    6.1

I would like to know if there is a way to increase this time-out?

    EDIT:

I took a quick glance at this doc errors of timeout in Web Services deployment (Doc ID 1073270.1( )

    and modified the $ORA_CONFIG_HOME/10.1.3/opmn/conf/opmn.xml file

then bounced oacore, oafm, but it did not work.

    EDIT 2:

I tried to change the timeout setting in the file httpd.conf ( $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/conf/httpd.conf )

restart apache and the server, but it didn't work.

    Thank you

    Kind regards

    Simon

In fact, I tried to play with the values that you mentioned, I put the maximum Heap space in JAVA to 2048M and in Apache timeout to 3600 seconds and after a wait of cca. 20 minutes I got the answer I needed the SOAP service.

What do need me in the BPEL component to map the results of sql to reference files in writing?

  • SOA file adapter - written weird characters then more nothing

    Hello

I try to have a simple process using a file adapter to a file on my desktop. Just using a mediator to make the transformation.  When I make the first test, it will create a file but with only 3 strange characters and if I test again, errors in Server with a connection error and the only way I can get to even file a new file is to reboot the server.

    Any ideas?

You have set the opaque schema, which means that you must pass the Base64encoded string to the file adapter. But you're the real entrance.

Interface adapter file will assume, you pass a value encoded, it will decode and write the file. That's why you see unwanted characters.

Please google "SOA Base64Encoding" for certain items that shows the steps to do this.

Please google "SOA generate the CSV file" for certain items that will show the steps to create the file delimited by commas.

  • BPEL 1.1 and 2.0 in SOA 12 c.

    Hi all

I'm a bit new to SOA, and last weeks I try to follow the tutorials of the manual book of SOA to Oracle 11 g (from Lucas Jellema).

I use Oracle SOA 12 g and the tutorial book is designed for 11g, I found now several minor differences in screens that I was able to overcome.

Now I am with Chapter 6 (correlation and other things).

I noticed that I use BPEL 2.0 because it appears when you are working with bpel designer and when you import the project the solution provided by the book, the shown BPEL is 1.1.

I also noticed that the scope in version 1.1 of BPEL can add 'message' and this option is not available in BPEL 2.0.

I don't understand why this option is not available.

My questions are, how and where is defined the BPEL 1.1 or 2.0 version used in the project and how can I have available the ' message on "for the scope in my project.

    Thank you.

    Juanje

    Juanje

When you a drag and drop a component bpel in composite.xml, you have the option to select the version 1.1 or 2.0.

In BPEL 2.0, you can use "OnEvent" of bezel to receive messages from sponsors & log commercial links.

You can have your wsdl residing on a server and accessed by http
