  Perhaps a preferences Reset could fix.  Cmd k will lead you to the Photoshop preferences where you will see this screen.

  It is possible that your security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

  80070570 means error corrupted file. The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

  My suggestion is to try to download the updates and see if you are able to install them manually.

  Use a proxy server?  If so, could you try go to control panel > network and Internet > Internet Options > connections > LAN Settings and either:
