  I have a new laptop running Windows 8.1 and installed BBLink.  However, it is not synchronized with my camera of Q10.

  I removed the BBLink device on my old laptop, but it still does not.  Get an error that says "failed to connect MAPI. Run outlook with the "outlook" profile, and then try again.  My profile is "prospects", so I don't know why I get this error message.  I also tried to reset my Q10 to factory settings and start again with BBLink, but I get the same error.

  I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

  (3) restart to take batt

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I had to factory reset my phone twice. So once when I graded down to beta 10 to 9.3.2. One then once more and then my music application has started working again. I hope this helps.

  Usually, you would receive messages from any program if it is impossible to access the port.

  If you want to check if the port is accessible, then you will need to check the firewall settings.

  Each firewall has its own parameters for ports of the computer.

  No need to copy and paste.  Simply add the folder that contains the music files to the library in this same dialog box.

  You can wipe your BB completely, but make sure you have a saved backup file!

  If you go into your applications folder (go > Applications) you have Adobe Reader in there? If you open Adobe Reader, choose file > open are you able to open a pdf file?
