  If, as you say, they are completely separate installations on separate hard disks, each with there own version of PS for example, there should be no way that they could interfere with each other! I assume you are using a form any of Boot Manager to load a specific version of Mac OS x?

  I did something similar at the start in a similar situation with client compatibility and not had a problem with either interfere with others!

  However, you share the programs somehow between different OS, so that would be another matter.

  If this isn't all compartible, there is nothing you can do talk except upgrade (or buy a full installation version of) the software (if they offer a version that is compatible with Vista and it seems they do) or choose another product which is compatible and the same functions.  You should not load known incompatible software on your system.

  If it is questionable and not entirely determined, you can try to use Compatibility Mode to see if it works:http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-compatibility-mode/ (but don't try if the Compatibility Center says it is not compatible, or it may damage your system and some of your other programs).

  It seems that the graphics card in my Tecra S10 - A11 has problems with software like Autocad 2009 or Rhino 4. The card is a nVidia quatro NVS 150 M. Cursors in these programs are slow or flashing. Y at - it a solutiun known to this problem, because I found a lot of similar problems on various forums, but I didn't find any solution.

  I never thought that a cell phone in this category would have had such problems. But if the GPU is really incapable of managing these programs at a level that I feel really disappointed.

  In your case, I would check if the graphics card driver can be improved and what Autocad 2009 support is recommended.

  Possibly Autocad 2009 needs some version of driver?
  Has been installed the latest BIOS? Check it!

  The program requires a 32-bit operating system. However, it is easy to fix. Since you have windows 7 ultimate, you can use Windows XP mode.   I have a Toshiba Satellite A105-S2141 computer laptop bought in the United States. I am currently in a small country knowm as "Maldives" and unable to successfully connect and use the modem connection.

  The selection of region internal modem utility does not include the Maldives in the list and if I select a random country as "current location" I can connect only if I keep the speed of the modem at 2400. What should do? I tried the upgrade, but no uogrades are available. Other computers can connect normally on the same telephone line.

  Kindly advice. Is there another available modem which can be downloaded? Any other loophole?

  You don't need to use this utility select region of preinstalled modem.
  You can choose the Maldives using own settings of Windows.

  Choose Control Panel-> Phone & Modem Options->-> my position (Edit button)-> country (Maldives) dialing rules

  On the Modem tab, you can choose the modem you are using and can check the properties. Here, you can set the maximum port to a higher speed.

  I think you have misunderstood something. It is a forum for peer to peer not a desktop HP of any kind. It is managed by the Administration HP and moderators, but everyone here is on a strictly voluntary basis.

  The answer to your question is no. Not all HP laptops and PC is compatible with Windows XP. As far as Linux goes, it's a matter of finding the drivers. If you know something about Linux, then you know exactly what I mean.

  I just bought a tx2z-1020us.  It works very well for office 2003 and autour Microsoft software from the same time, but nothing else.  Software compatibility tells me just what I'm trying to run is not compatible.  It does not accept any changes that I try to make software that I try to run.  Software compatibility allows me to enter all the settings for earlier operating systems, so my software would work, but it seems to ignore all this as if I had not seized it.  This is true for ALL my old software and even some software that has been created to run under XP.  Where would be the problem?

  You should be able to do it... you would have to create a bootable partition and install the other OS.

  Another option might be to run a program like VMWare and install the 32 bit OS it... this way you can have both running at the same time and without having to restart.
