  Can someone please explain to me how do I upgrade the software? I posted the same question on twitter and I was told that the software updates are individual for each device. Os6 for my device has existed for more than six months now and even though I have friends who are on the same media that I am and that you have upgraded the software to look for an update there aren't all available.   Make sure that you type on your BB, it's what you type in DM. don't forget that the keyboard on your BB is different from the keyboard on your PC. Some people think they are type numbers on their BlackBerry when they are really typing the letters. For example, to use numbers on a BB you must hold the ALT for each button, you push so you have to hold the alt key while typing 1 2 3 4. If you hold down the ALT key on the BB you would really be typed all W E R S. sometimes, people will hit the ALT key once (and not hold the button) before they enter the password and then you get 1 E R S.

  Who is? Make sure that you do not mix numbers and letters.

  To hit the drop down you can choose the version of Desktop Manager at the top of the list. 4.7 without Media Manager is recommended.

  Yes, the phone is obsolete because I didn't want to part with them! Updates not taken for some time at the suggestion of Verizon and RIM, due to technical problems. I never thought that I would hold it long on the phone.

  I have a Storm 9530 running 5.0.0.32 8 connecting to a Mac Pro Desktop version 1.0.2 (build 8) under OS X 10.5.8 or 10.6.2 running.

  The issue was with the option 'Auto enable mass storage mode '.  With this on the storm that is connected to the system, media card is mounted as a USB volume and therefore, the BDM are locked.

  Do you mean that you forgot the password to configure email ID? If so use the forgotten password link if you remember your username. If you don't remember that contact and then your support operator representative and ask them to provide your username.

  Sorry, this isn't a correct information. You don't need an additional data plan, and it's not requiring an A - GPS cell tower triangulation.

  Hello, question about the keyboard. I've used for several years, both physical KB (z30) virtual bb10 KB (passport - best physics kb).   Sorry for the late reply, I didn't know you posted a suggestion... I had put everything in settings multilingual, but did not work. However apparently, in android, there's the thing that I found in another forum so let me add here... I followed these instructions step by step and now I have a kb truly multilingual, with automatic detection... some steps I've done it before with no luck but to do all in sequence... If you previously installed the multilanguage, delete it and start from scratch:

  1. install and activate the BlackBerry keyboard
  * Go to the language and entry
  * Go to "default keyboard / current keyboard", press "configure the inputs.
  method' and activate the BlackBerry keyboard
  * Select BlackBerry keyboard as default keyboard

  2 configure the keyboard
  * Under the keyboard and input methods, tap on the BlackBerry keyboard
  * Press on multilingual keyboard
  * Choose your main language (which is in German) and the secondary
  language (IE. US English)
  * Press on save at the top right and click on "activate now".
  * You will now see a dialog language. Disable 'language use of the system '.

  AND NOW COMES THE BIG THING:
  * In the language list that is displayed, you will notice that your
  main language is listed TWICE (in my case GERMAN and just below a
  second GERMAN. Select the SECOND ENTRY and DO NOT select your
  language school (in my case English of the United States) in the list.
