Upgrade software for Smartphones blackBerry for bold 9700

Hello world
Can someone please explain to me how do I upgrade the software? I posted the same question on twitter and I was told that the software updates are individual for each device. Os6 for my device has existed for more than six months now and even though I have friends who are on the same media that I am and that you have upgraded the software to look for an update there aren't all available. Thanx

6.0.0.615 output for the 9700 OS is Bell Mobility of the Canada. Operating system device provided are "released" by specific carriers once that they are certified and trained to their support technicians, but still, you are able to load any carrier the same model by following the instructions below.

See the link below to download it and follow these simple instructions.

Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

https://swdownloads.BlackBerry.com/downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=6C3CF77D52820CD0FE646D38BC21...

2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

  • Configuration of e-mail of Smartphones from blackBerry BB bold 9700

    Hi guys,.

Just signed up because I have to ask if our company can use our microsoft for exchange server emails on the BB bold 9700.

At present, our company uses a Nokia E71.

This has been implemented with microsoft exchange, so that emails sent to the server will be automatically sent on both phones.

We had to put in address e-mail, username, password, access point, address of the exchange server, domain etc.

We are currently on the Orange network in the United Kingdom and was told by them that we can use the BB to access our emails.

When we put out this contract 2 years ago we could not get the emails to the blackberry phone unless we used the Blackberry exchange server.

Is what I would like to know, can we set the BB to access our emails from our microsoft exchange server, and if so where can I find a way to implement.

If this cannot be done, we need to know now before upgrade us all phones of the company.

    See you soon

    Ian

    Hey Ian,.

E-mail message is automatically delivered to the BlackBerry smartphone once the account is integrated with the BlackBerry Internet Service. Using the BlackBerry Internet Service there is no way to update the calendar wireless, you can use the BlackBerry Desktop Software to synchronize. The only way to get wireless calendar synchronization using the BlackBerry Enterprise Server or BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not access site Web de Blackberry device (Bold 9700)

Trying to access different Internet sites with my Bold 9700 phone contract with no joy. «Have checked with my ISP (three UK) who say that everything is fine, I can access facebook mobile and other sites but no joy with Blackberry sites (which this one!), Beta Blackberry or associate downloads - everytime I try, I get the message "failure of communication «»

My friend - who has the same phone on the same contract - also has problems with brower

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hello again,

Given everything you describe, I suggest to talk again to your formal support service provider. Your apartment is perhaps in a coverage area is low. Your friend is perhaps in a good coverage area. Maybe your handset has a problem and may not maintain the connection to the wireless network. I have occasional problems maintain connection bis, but is is very rare and usually just turn the phone radio (via manage connections) power off and then back on clears. In any case, the question is: you pay your carrier for services that are not delivered to you... you he should continue with them.

    Good luck!

  • Smartphones with new Bold 9700 blackBerry Email issue

    Hello world

I just got a new BB Bold 9700 from my boss and I know now my life is over, how ever live without one. Totally awesome.

But I have a problem that I hope someone may be able to help with.

On my PC in a network, I put in place of the rules in MS Outlook so that the emails that I get different departments automatically in folders that I'v created in my Inbox.  I think it's only incoming emails that do not have a rule for the sender or are simply non-stressed, are received on the BlackBerry.

    Any ideas or solutions?

    Hi BillJ

Thanks for the tips, not quite there, but you put me on the right track and with a bit of luck, I am now running sweet. Kudos to you mate, I appreciate the help. To someone else how can find ourselves in a similar position, try this:

On the home page you select Message - Menu - Options - e-mail settings - send Email for handheld - Menu - folder Redirection

(at this point, the display will show your compressed folder tree, expand the folder tree to view all the folders in your Inbox, select each specific folder for which you have a redirect in place or any rule simply 'select all')

Now select Menu - Change Option (if you select each folder one at a time the change Option - Menu - repeat for each file)

    Complete with Menu - RECORD

    And your sweet.

  • "New to me" blackBerry smartphones unlocked BB bold 9700 no option of internet email configuration

I just bought refurbished BB bold 9700.  I use Speakout prepaid service and have no data, but I want to configure my yahoo email using wifi.  However, there is no option for the Internet e-mail account in the Setup menu.  Since the menu implementation, when I click on email accounts it automatically goes to the company setting up accounts and nothing else.  When I go to the tips section it says this, 'If you see not this option contact your administrator or your wireless service provider.  Any thoughts?

Hello and welcome to the community!

Legacy of BB devices can't do email (or any other exclusive function of BB) via WiFi only. Even if used via WiFi, adequate data of a carrier plan must be a subscriber to the to enable these functions. You must subscribe to a data plan that allows the BIS to have functions of e-mail, even if you do not want to use it over WiFi.

A more recent device of BB10 has not, on the other hand, this requirement... BB10 devices can do all the functions via WiFi, without any carrier data plan. But your legacy device does not have this capability.

    Good luck!

  • Old blackBerry Smartphones mails on Bold 9700

    Hello!

I have a BB Bold 9700 and I tried to set up my email to read on the mobile. I have a problem: I can only read the mails that come after December 2010 (when I have the top of my BB). I can't read my emails before December because they are not on the mobile application... Is this normal? I must go on the internet and on the Gmail page to access my old mails...

I'm sorry for my bad English I'm french!

Good day. Thank you in advance for your invaluable help.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

What you describe is exactly as expected. BB is designed to bring only new emails from the point of activation. Old emails are not translated to the BB because it does not truly replicate your Inbox. Therefore, it is WAD - works as expected.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry 9900 Bold startup screen 75% and white after.

    Hello forum!

I have a problem with my Blackberry 9900 Bold. I have looked everywhere on the internet and found what my problem is: JVM errors. The only problem is that none of these solutions worked, solutions that have been published 4 to 2 years ago.

Whenever I put in the battery and the phone turns on it loads up to about 75%, then apears white screen and stays like that for days. I tried to do an OS 7.0 to 7.1 upgrade, but after erasing data from the application loader when you try to start the JAVA virtual machine, it does not. I tried to connect to BBSAK, JL_CMDER and BBMCP, the only problem is that it is not connected, only for the application loader. Yes, I deleted Vendor.XML common files > Research In Motion. Every step that I found on the internet that it has been tested. My only question now is to obtain the identified BB JL_CMDER, BBSAK or BBMCP so that I can finally do a full erase.

So please, dear forum users, if you have new information since 2013 I'm more than willing to test it and it works thankfully we.

    PROBLEM SOLVED!

Correction problem of the white screen: use 9900_7_0Fast_Installers nuke the phone, then wipe it off. After that use your Application Loader after you delete the two files from the seller (there are thousands of threads on the files of the Application Loader and the seller).

Here are the steps, if you have any other questions which answers are not yet available on the internet, feel free to reply to this message.

    See you soon!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry 9650 Bold - not charging

    Hello

There is a problem with my Blackberry 9650 "BOLD" (right now, she is evacuated to the point when the unit cannot be switched) load. After connection of the charger, diod red shine for a few seconds and then turns off. After that, normal charger photo with flash appears but it is stuck and not move not... (I can not specify my OS version and free size / applications installed on my device is now disabled...)

    What I tried:

-Leave the charger of the day after, I did several times and nothing happened. Tried the wall charger and USB charge, none worked.

-Purchase new charger, old charger was a sort of Motorola or regardless of the brand, it worked, but I recently bought original Blackberry charger, but it has not solved this problem.

-Buy the new battery. right now I use an unofficial battery, it has solved this problem (I had before with also original battery). Buy new solves the problem for a few days, but then I accidentally emptied my battery at 0%, resulting in the same problem as before.

-Leave the battery on the unit fo 24 hours and then put it back inside

-Various boards 'disconnect the battery with the charger connected and then put again".

Right now, I've tried almost every Council or tip Uncle Google spits when I ask for help, if I appreciate any help that can solve this problem...

    Thanks for your help.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Unlike older battery technologies, they do not run out. This has been known to damage, including making them useless. Since you solved your problems with a new battery, but exhausted while the problems returned, I would assume that your new battery was also damaged, and yet another replacement is your next step (and not allowing it to exhaust).

    Good luck!

  • Smartphones blackBerry 9650 "bold" to fly

Hi good day everyone. My blackberry can protect still work them if my blackberry phone is stolen and wiped clean of all the date in it?
And is there a way to actually track a stolen blackberry if the GPS is not on? If someone stole your blackberry and he knows he can be followed, it will definitely stop gps.

Unfortunately, no phone has theft protection.  Among all the platforms of smartphone, BlackBerry remains the leader in security.  If you have BlackBerry Protect installed, the chances of someone else do your phone if you select features to protect immediately after the robbery are slim to none.  Even without protection installed, if you lock your phone with a password, person NOT be for that phone without entering the password.  There is no way around it, not even RIM can crack a password and have access to your phone.  Ten failed attempts and BAM, your phone has nothing left on it personnel.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation.  Remember when your BlackBerry phone is correctly configured, you hold the safer smartphone on the planet.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones later Software Update for Bold 9700 PROBLEMS! Help, please!

I know there is already a post on this topic, but this problem requires immediate attention.  Received an email this morning telling me there was an update of software available.  Plugged into the Desktop Manager and installed.  Went well until that right after the restart.  A frozen everything in closing the restart and from the restoration.  Now, all my data disappeared from my phone, I have no e-mail capabilities, no internet access, etc.  Now when I plug in the Office Manager he's just here saying that it connects to the phone, so now I can't even use a restore point to just run.  Right now I have a phone that has nothing of my data and can only make calls and send texts... might as well have a nokia from the old school!  I use this phone every day to work.  I need to work and so far no feedback of any type for a solution.  And of course you can not contact Blackberry via phone or chat to get help, who don't pee at all!  Between my phone freezing and having need of a hard reboot every day or so for the past month and now the matter today, I'm ready to think about Android.  That I hate because I love my blackberry.  Did someone's Blackberry out there listen to/read such things?  Need to get this fixed fast number.  Help, please!

Sorry for the mixture to the top. It is under the common files, reasearch of movement, RIMdevice manager or AppLoader (I don't remember which folder). Anyway it must single .exe file and it is one that should be deleted. There is not any other .exe files in another folder. After that, I was able to connect to the Desktop Manager. Here's the adresse_web of a forum, I also found that may be useful. http://CrackBerry.com/BlackBerry-101-lecture-12-how-reload-operating-system-nuked-BlackBerry

    I hope this helps.
