  • Xperia Z2 not recognizing button inline on the helmet

I have headphones Meelectronics A161p (bud and microphone). The problem is that the inline button has no effect on the Xperia Z2. When I plug it into the socket headphone, it recognizes only a helmet instead of a helmet. I can't put an end to the calls, start and stop the music and so on.

He is very good with other phones like the newer Samsungs, but it does everything just not with my new z2. Is this normal or do I need to get my mobile was watching?

Activate smart connect to headset to test for music and audio, whether you are able to use the next inline for music button play/pause.

Probably, it would confirm that the headset works with Z2

  • Helmet Xperia Z5

My headphones work. But a headset (the one that is shorter) is much quieter. So when I put on my ears, I hear only one that is dominated. I guess that's because someone uses another phone (maybe the output signal is higher)

Another question: what kind of helmet is used for Sony Xperia Z5, l want to buy even?

You can use most of the headphones with your Z5, you need to test a different pair with your phone, helmet noise cancelling is impressive.

  • Xperia S - helmet

    Hello

I thought about buying new headphones from Dr.Dre Beats...

    Solo HD-Studio-Wireless...

Is this work on xperia S?

    Thank you!

Thanks for posting and welcome to the forum!

The Sony Xperia S uses a sound standard called CTIA and as long as the headset you want to use with the phone uses the same as one it should work very well.

Make sure you check before you buy a helmet!

  • Not automatically recognized helmet

I recently bought an Inspiron 15R. At first when I plugged my headphones and the sound continues to play through the speakers, I thought there was a problem with the plug. However, I realized that a screen has been popping up in the background, asking me to recognize that I plugged in a headset. After click on this several times over several days, I chose the option to not have the message appear each time that something was plugged (incorrectly assuming that this would mean every time that these headphones are connected, they would be automatically recognized). What can I do to make them known?

I don't think the 15R 5537 has a faulty driver wherever the grateful helmet, but we have seen many reports of whistles through the headphone jack. It is still unclear if this is a driver or a hardware problem.

In your case I advise you to do:

Open Device Manager and expand the sound controllers section. Right click on the Realtek, and select uninstall. Put a checkmark in the delete files optionand then ok. When you restart, Windows either will install its own native driver or a Realtek driver if there was other versions on the hard drive. Then go back to Device Manager and look for a Realtek driver. Keep the uninstall & reboot until Realtek no longer appears under controllers, noise and "High definition Audio Device" appears in its place.

When you do that, you will use the native Windows audio driver. Test again the headphone jack. Complete the test by downloading a new copy of the Realtek driver from the page downloads 5537 15R (be sure the first select your operating system from the drop-down list).

If the headset now works with the new copy of the Realtek driver, it could be a bad configuration. If the helmet did not work with the native driver or the Realtek, test the headset with other devices for you sure they work. If they then contact technical support to report this problem and see about repair.

  • Inspiron 15R 5537 helmet is not recognized.

So I bought 5537 yesterday with win8. When I plug my headphones, it is not recognized. Audio continues to play through speakers. I've seen people with the question the other way where speakers did not work for them but because of helmet. The helmet is not a microphone (this is the problem?) I have tried many headphones, none of them have been recognized. I was on the last commands of Realtech, I uninstalled to try if it works. But still not a go. :(

The helmet is not a microphone (this is the problem?)

This should not be a problem. The headphone jack ("combo") will work with a smart phone earphones headphones or with ordinary headphones. The problem with taking the combo, it's that it will work only with smartphone headset microphones, not ordinary microphones.

If you had a problem caused by the wrong configuration, then re - install the audio driver would fix it. Try to reinstall the Realtek driver and if it does not then you probably have a hardware failure. Contact the technical support. You also have the option to return the laptop in the short period of return.

  • Helmet Xperia Z2 undetected since update 402

Since the last update (17.1.1.A.0.402) helmet is not detectend when it is connected to the phone.

It applies to the standard headphone and noise cancelling.

Headphones work fine (tested on another audio player).

I need a solution as soon as POSSIBLE because this is one of the main reasons why I got his phone.

Try the settings-applications-all-smart connect, clear data. Connect again.

  • Xperia sola & andr.4 ICS show activities

Hi, today I have updated my andr 2.3 to anr sola 4. Everything is great, but not all. I have a big prolem. I don't see active applications. When I opened this tab, the setting closes. It is very moodily. Sola do not close the idle and ueless applications and does not release memory. It is the root of the problem, that useful applications can be used together: one of them will be closed.

    What should do?

PS: Sorry for my English, it is not much.

If you force stop apps, they will be re - open soon after, and who's going to drain a LOT of your battery and little RAM, so just try my suggestion above

  • Windows recognizing helmet speakers, but not micro.

So I am using my Xbox a loan helmet since around Christmas and have just discovered all this time windows was my webcam microphone instead. Which is not a big deal... But it does not recognize that my helmet has a functional microphone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I wasn't quite sure where to put it.

  • Helmet of Razer Megalodon is not recognized on the computer.

    Hey there,

I have these headphones Razer Megalodon, which have always worked for me throughout my all this time to use it.

But lately Windows was not able to recognize it and after about 3 hours of internet research and try all kinds of things, I came to the conclusion that I can't understand it.

I have Windows 7 Edition home premium.
    Data sheet that I know:
    6 GB of Ram.
    Intel i7 920

NVIDIA GeForce GTS250 up to 2431 MB

I also have another graphics card in my pc, but I don't know how it's called.

And that's all I really know about this (I'm not really very well on the technical stuff).

Oh and by the way, sorry for my English.

    M.

This is something that you would probably need to be helped by them.  If the headset is USB try to plug it into another port.

  • My helmet speakers are out - prioritize my built in Mic headset

After finding that the microphone of my helmet (which I thought was broken, since he has never worked on my computer) works very well on my phone, I started to focus on why I can't hear out of it on my computer. Apparently when I set up a microphone on Realtek HD Audio Manager, my helmet speakers are used as the microphone instead as it is built in mic.

Anyone know if there is a way I can fix this? Thank you

If you use headphones 'style phone helmet', in other words, only Jack and 3 connectors, his computer map ports usually do not support 3way plugs as you have, only 2 (or in the case of mic).

You most likely will need a headset with a plug for speakers and a microphone. The microphone can be recognized in the port of real, but pregnant mic (on headpones) will not work.

It is a hardware limitation, your phone has a different take than your computer does (very probably).
