• Problem with Android 4.0.4 on my Xperia Sola

  Good if I had problems with my Wifi (error) on my phone so I asked a friend and it is sad that I have to update my android to 4.0.4 (I 2.3.7) so I did. After updating my phone was working well until I activated the wifi on the new system of andrioid and my unexpected phone off and tried to turn it on and it says SONY XPERIA and upward. I tried to fix it with PC companion, but my phone is not displayed on the time I connect with usb. I don't know what to do.  Help.

• WHY ICS updates lag?

  Hello Sony,

  I've recently updated the Xperia Arc S, at ICS 4.0.3 Update published by Sony. I was on 0.62 previously, and a factory reset as well until after the update. Transitions lag, led me to do a repair of phone also. The LAGS have become less, but it isn't smooth at all. no where near GB.

  I just wanted to know the reasons for the problems...

  Please tell us if its one of the following options, or something else:

  Case 1:

  The update is not supposed to be laggy at all, that test here at Sony features work smoothly.

  Request: Please download a video of the final ICS update (similar to the videos beta), to show us what we can expect maximum fluidity. Also, if possible, give us a procedure step by step, how to upgrade our telephone, to get the best possible performance out of it.

  Case 2:

  The Rom of the ICS is heavy resource demanding, and it won't go any smotther.

  2.a - case: none of the updates will solve the problem

  2.b - business: the next updates will solve the problem, as the ICS later releases by goolge are beter in terms of resources management

  PS: The CM9 (based on interim certificates), ran very smooth on the Galaxy Ace (tried it myslef). The HTC a V, ICS tracks enough smooth (not as much as GB Xperia, but better than Xperia ICS)

  With regard to your request - I don't know why it is lagging if/when it lag.

  Hope that more recent software can solve this problem. I should mention that it has not been any official communication on the forthcoming software however. I can't confirm the content in the message to Anthony at this stage.

  In the United Kingdom, the clocks are back 1 hour this morning. The network provided on the phone time is correct, however the Sony Xperia weather weather application always shows the clock an hour before.

  I use xperia SP this is going to be my last sony mobile if there is no update of kitkat for SP that you are deceiving us, before, I bought my sp I noticed the version recommended SP was kitkat. but now the more recent & final version was frozen bean 4.3.every time do you the same thing. same thing when I use xperia sola arrived the same thing. I'm not satisfied with my update. you work for phones more end many phones from different manufacturers were running kitkat, they were just 6000 rupees. I don't choose and prefer not xperia phones to anyone. completely dissatisfied with sony. no more to say...
