Solitaire can they be restored?

How can I restore Solitaire on XP Home? He just disappeared and no longer appears on the menu start games or accessories. I have Service Pack 3 - if that helps.

First of all, check if it still exists on your computer.

Navigate to the directory:

C:\Windows\System32

and look for the file "sol.exe.  If you see it, try double clicking on it and see if your solitare game begins.  If so, simply right-click on it and select 'Create shortcut' and drag the shortcut on the desktop (or drag sol.exe on the desktop while holding down the "Alt" key).  You can then start it by clicking on the shortcut.

If there is no such thing as sol.exe, instead, that it is usually installed is

Panel-> Add/Remove programs

Then click on "Add/Remove Windows components" in the left margin.  Select "Accessories and utilities" and then click on 'Details' and then 'games' and click on "details...".

    Safe mode?

    Looks like you have a virus/trojan/worm infection pretty good...

    Actually, even if you get executables run again - you can be (read as "will be") better off the coast of a new facility.  Wipe and install media with your product key and other serial numbers and installation for other products media you own and restore your last recognized reliable backup for your files.

  • Backup/restore DRS VM affinity/anti-affinity rules - can they be backed up and restored without re-entering manually after DRS disabled?

    DRS VM affinity/anti-affinity rules - these are lost when the DRS is off - they can be "listed" via perl or script Toolkit VI to return to manual if necessary.

    But can they be backed up / restored through automated methods for easy recovery in case required or accidental deactivation of the DRS? What happens if a user of vCenter turns off instead of the manual setting during operations?

    I have over 100 + VM DRS affinity/anti-affinity rules to maintain.

    There are indeed several DRS rules related cmdlets in the VITK 1.5.

    The following script will save all rules in a .txt file.

    $outfile = "C:\rules.txt"
    Remove-Item $outfile
    $clusterName =
    $rules = get-cluster -Name $clusterName | Get-DrsRule

    foreach($rule in $rules){
      $line = (Get-View -Id $rule.ClusterId).Name
      $line += ("," + $rule.Name + "," + $rule.Enabled + "," + $rule.KeepTogether)
      foreach($vmId in $rule.VMIds){
        $line += ("," + (Get-View -Id $vmId).Name)
      }
      $line | Out-File -Append $outfile
    }

    The reason why we are writing the rules in a .txt file is because the type of 'Solidarity' with the rules can have 2 or more guests defined.

    This type of info (variable length table) is impossible to export to a. CSV file.

    The 2nd script reads this external file and sets the rules.

    $file = "C:\rules.txt"
    $rules = Get-Content $file

    foreach($rule in $rules){
      $ruleArr = $rule.Split(",")
      if($ruleArr[2] -eq "True"){$rEnabled = $true} else {$rEnabled = $false}
      if($ruleArr[3] -eq "True"){$rTogether = $true} else {$rTogether = $false}
      get-cluster $ruleArr[0] | `
        New-DrsRule -Name $ruleArr[1] -Enabled $rEnabled -KeepTogether $rTogether -VM (Get-VM -Name ($ruleArr[http://4..($ruleArr.Count - 1)|http://4..($ruleArr.Count - 1)]))
    }

    [The trick used for guests, it's that we select the part of a table with the \[a... scoring b\].

    Currently, you will need to run the first script for each cluster separately, but this could be easily adapted to run on all clusters in your VI.

    I had a few existing Firefox bookmarks but wanted to add a bit of Safari. Now, the imported bookmarks from safari appear as a bookmark called IMPORTED FROM SAFARI. How can they be merged so that all bookmarks fall under the main Menu of bookmarks?

    You can move or copy/paste to another folder in the library (bookmarks/history Manager) through the context menu or the menu organize button on the toolbar.

    After downloading RealPlayer to view a particular item, I decided that I didn't want RealPlayer after all. 5 plugins associated with the download are listed in the Add-ons Manager and I managed to disable all the. But there is no apparent ease to remove them from my browser. Can they actually be deleted completely from my system?

    You must activate the plugins on the tools > Modules > page of Plugins to make them appear on the topic: plugins page.

    If I block someone on iphone 6s, can they still leave a voicemail? If so, how will I know? Y at - it an icon?  Would I be able to listen to it?

    When callers are blocked, they are sent directly to your voicemail. They can leave a message. You can still hear none of these messages by going to voicemail in the phone app and then type in blocked messages. They are separated from the other voice mail message so that don't accidentally read you them if you don't want to.

    So what happens if you left these remote access on your computer, but you do not use banking services online... can they even steal your identity?

    They may infected it with something that would do in the future.  Or any personal information that you have now available including e-mail and any accounts which has a password.  You should probably reformat and reinstall, but at least scan the computer for viruses, malware and unknown programs.  Then change all your passwords.  You can change your account names of e-mail as well as your phone number as well.

    My computer is very slow.  A friend said that I can speed up restore factory settings. How can I do this?

    5 ways to speed up your computer
    http://www.Microsoft.com/atwork/maintenance/speed.aspx

    This article explains how to use the tools available in Windows 7, Vista and XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) to more effectively maintain your computer and protect your privacy when you're online.

    Unexplained computer behavior may be caused by a third-party software

    How to restore your computer settings certainly depend on what brand of computer you use. You must contact the manufacturer or your computer's manual should give you guidance on how to use your disks restore provided with your computer or the hidden partition.

    Please note that means restoring the computer to the factory settings, restore the computer to the State that you have first obtained it in. You would lose your programs that you have installed, your data, etc etc. It would be like a new installation.

    Consider other options first.

    Generally, no. They are necessary for the programs and programs don't
    work without them. But there may be a few exceptions with DLL files
    which are no longer used. If you try to delete everything, be extremely
    careful and delete are not only those that you are absolutely sure
    necessary.

    And I'm sorry to say - I don't want to be insulting - but if
    You must ask yourself what is a DLL file, you should not mess around with
    them and try to remove everything.

    Can I ask you how can members on the lines past their value at the prompt of the execution in a business rule? I checked a post above saying that this can be done but it was 2010 any chance that there is a way now to do?

    Thank you in advance,

    Members on the lines, can they be passed to running guest in a business rule?

    You can do this if you use a Menu to launch rules in planning, any POV associated with the clicked cell is passed in the SPTR

    in the screen shot here you can see, I accessed the menu of the cell in red, I had selected a cell in the grid, period and year also would have been settled.

    Adobe community, I have 2 quick questions on Adobe Creative Cloud membership. I am considering the Adobe Creative Cloud 'Plan of the student' for 2 children currently in high school.  (1) is the license for 1 or can it covers 2 users? (2) can they access it from PC or MacBook this year? Thanks for your help.

    each single-user license, it's just that, for a single user and can not (legally) be shared between two different users.

    programs of CC can be installed on pc or mac.  each user can install on an unlimited number of computers, but can only connect to, at most, two computers at a time.  These 2 computers can be 2 pcs, 2 macs, or one of each.
