Can they even steal your identity if you do banking over the internet?

So what happens if you left these remote access on your computer, but you do not use banking services online... can they even steal your identity?

They may infected it with something that would do in the future.  Or any personal information that you have now available including e-mail and any accounts which has a password.  You should probably reformat and reinstall, but at least scan the computer for viruses, malware and unknown programs.  Then change all your passwords.  You can change your account names of e-mail as well as your phone number as well.
