Help
Hi John, I ran Revo Uninstaller and found an incredible number of entries left in the registry after Uninstall_L3 was executed.
I deleted those (it took awhile), downloaded the software 'later' HP and Voila!
A completely successful installation, including the solution Center.
Also, I was under the impression that I could not use L4 because it might interfere with my HP Pavilion HP registry references.
Thanks for your help and counsel.

OfficeJet 7410xi "SolutionCenter.msi not in...» "
Printer: HP 7410xi all-in-One Offijet + installation CD, computing: Dell XPS 8700, OS: Windows 8.1
Question: When HP is trying to update the printing software, update process error message: SolutionCenter.msi not in C:\Users\TEST\AppData\Local\Temp\7zS1628\setup\SolutionCenter\ with the browse option.
Update ends when the Setup CD is inserted and "localized" to it.
To avoid digging the CD every time, I copied all the CD in a folder, HP install on the computer. BTW, no SolutionCenter.msi is not found after you have copied in HP install.
When the update process starts later and I navigate to the folder, HP install, same error message.
Please provide a work around so SolutionCenter.msi (and other files) can be found on the computer and the update process completes successfully without resorting to inserting the CD.
Hi xandux,
I can help you get the configuration of the printer correctly, with the latest version of the software.
Uninstall the old software of the printer and download and install the latest drivers for Windows 8.1.
Uninstalling the printer software.

Hi Siri,
It seems that the software that tries to install on your Windows computer is not compatible with Windows 8. As referring to the Pilot of Speedlink for 64-bit operating systems (http://www.gnresound.com/professionals/fitting/SpeedlinkDriverfor64bitOS), it was only available for Windows 7 and Windows Vistadownload links. So get this program running on your computer that Windows 8 , you can try to install this program in compatibility mode with Windows 7 or Windows Vista. To change the settings for compatibility for this program, you can follow the steps on: make the programs more compatible with this version of Windows.
