(Solved...) 0xc000007b

Hello

I built an exe of a project VC ++ published by the device manufacturer. When I run it, a 0xc000007b error. I tried a couple of checking and fixing of the works but no. Here's what I tried.

-Check the existence of .net 4 (I installed 4.52 and the installation file is adaptable to both x 86 and x 64)

-Check the existence of DirectX9 (I have directX 11)

-Check the existence of Microsoft Visual C++ (I 2010 x 64 and x 86 C++ Runtime and Redistributable and 2008 x 64 x 86 redistributable)

sfc/scannow (no problem found)

I wanted to check the following dism https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh824869.aspx. I executed "/ online C:\Windows\system32>dism/Cleanup-Image", I let fall /checkHealth because I'm on Win7. Then, the following error occurs

=====

Error: 87

An error occurred during the processing of the command.
Ensure that the command line arguments are valid. For more information, consult the bulletin t
log file it.

The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log

=====

How can I solve it?

Raymond

The problem turns out to be that I used an incorrect version of .dll. I should have used an x 86 one, instead of a x 64 a. I guess I could choose to compile for a x 64 exe but the default value is x 86.

  • How to fix a 0xc000007b error?

    I am running Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601). I am trying to run the event viewer on the control panel > system and security > administrative tools.  When I try to run the event viewer, I get this message:

    The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.

    Also, I get the same error when I try to run the administration tools, too:

    The system configuration

    Local security policy
    Performance monitor
    Print management
    Services
    Task Scheduler
    Windows Firewall with advanced security

    I tried the following:

    1 rebooted

    2. run as admin Event Viewer

    3 re-install .NET Framework 4.6.1

    4 re-install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010

    5. start in Safe Mode and run the application. Still errors.

    The fact that all of the applications above raise the same error message someone gives a clue as to what needs to be done to solve this problem? I am stuck and don't know what else to try.

    Thanks in advance for any ideas on that.

    Hello

    Sorry for the late reply.

    There could be a chance that there is a file system corruption. So, I suggest you run SFC scan and see if it makes a difference.

    The file system check is a utility built into the operating system that will check for the corruption of system files. The sfc/scannow command. (System File Check) analyzes the integrity of all protected operating system files and replaces incorrect versions, damaged, altered, or damaged with correct versions where possible.

    How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7.

    • Go to Start, click all programs and open the Accessories.
    • Right-click on command prompt in the list programs, and then select run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click OK.
    • In the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow

    Hi Susan Roberts,

    1. you did make changes to your operating system before this problem occur?
    2. updates of Windows or new hardware/software changes?

    Closing general troubleshooting: shutdown problems are usually caused by a program or process that won't come out gracefully. The program or process may be against malware, or may be legitimate (for example a pervasive like Norton or McAfee antivirus).

    Method 1:

    Start your computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

    Reference:

    Start your computer in safe mode

    Method 2:

    If the problem does not happen, I recommend you perform the clean boot.

    Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

    guys I have a solution to error 0xc000007b.
    you just just to

    1: Download "msvcr100.dll" in 32 bits.

    http://download.dll-files.com/0e37fbfa79d349d672456923ec5fbbe3/msvcr100.zip?0XEjQGdGiV

    2: stick to
    C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7, win 8)
    If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, you also need to place the .dll file in
    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\

    3: done

    If you have 64-bit windows then no problem you just download "msvcr100.dll" in 32 bit 64 bit not only then stick two directories mentioned above.

    Thankx
