some theoretical issues on the hardware in windows 7

Hello

1 - How can you know that professional when a system does not work after knowing that the ram and video card, and other things are ok. is the CPU or the motherboard is dead. I mean, for example, if the processor or motherboard is dead, how you can know which of the two is died?

2. If a processor using evry day with some calls 90% of its power wil it shorten processor long-term life especially if it's an old processor is?

3. I know that video cards has a processor and own ram, suppose that I have installed windows 7 on a computer with the old video card that doesn't have a powerful processor on it and not enough ram, wil this video card die after a while?

4-should I when I buy a RAM always look up a number of latency of ram because I know that if the number of standby time is not correct, the pc may be a dead pc!

If so, I see the little ram no sticks no latency number?

5-is 1 GB of ram just to watch movies in windows 7, in the normal course, because I know in full frame, it may not work?  If is not enough for problems wat it wil appear. This is just theoretical.

6. I know that the minimum hardware requirements for windows 7 is 1 GB of ram, 1 GHz processor is with graphics card directx9 with minimum 128 MB memory graphics on this subject.    But what advise you for me if I want to watch movies on the internet, I want to say how much memory, how the processor speed and the amount of memory (direct x 9 card) grapfic advise for me.

answers very short wil suffice

Thank you

Johan

Had too many graphics cards fail to say that they are safe from the heat. It could be peripheral chips, but the result is the same - no video.

In 25 years I never had a definitive failure of CPU.

    Hello

    ·        You said in your application that you have upgraded your system to Windows 7, did you perform a custom (clean) installation or install an upgrade?

If all your folders and files are missing, this indicates that you have selected the custom option that completely replaces the previous version of windows.

All of your personal files must be stored in a folder called Windows.old, if you did a custom (clean) installation without formatting the hard drive. You can retrieve all personal files in this folder.

Personally, if Id had malware on my pc, after a clean analysis Id make sure pictures of data, documents, etc. are saved.

After that, you can try creating a new account admin test, and if it leaves you then try to install WMP for this account.

With some malware is hard to know what that its alteration, but it sounds like it may have fiddled with your security access settings.

    Hi HLouise,

What is in my mind is the check-out settings. Make sure you only select the option to 5 seconds between songs.

Alternatively, you can try to reload the encoder from the link below.

    Hi JackieA_669,

It is not possible to pin a website to the taskbar in Windows XP computer.

However, this feature is available in Windows Vista & Windows 7.

For more information, refer to this link: Pin a website to your taskbar

You upgrade the computer to Windows 7, which has improved performance & stability. However, first run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor, which helps find potential compatibility issues with the hardware of your computer, devices, or programs that might affect installing Windows 7.

  • Access to SQL previously saved in the SQL command window

    Hi all

If I kept some codes SQL in the SQL command window, should we not available to other developers when they click on the saved SQL tab? I saved an example query and one of my other developers can't see it. I don't see any setting available on the developer account that controls whether or not the account can see others saved SQL.

If this is not allowed, then I see really the point of the drop in the saved SQL owner tab.

    Any advice?

    Thank you!!
    John

My apologies - I've never used this tab so I was not aware of it.

I played a little and it seems that if you are an administrator of the workspace, but your other user is just a developer, then in fact he or she cannot see your SQL. If you were to switch to the workspace administrators, they should be able to see.

  • The following error during the installation of Windows: "cannot start Windows. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.

    Help, please! Installing Windows Interrupted!

Hi recently my computer was giving me a bit of concern for example (running slow, do not easily light etc...). A couple of days, my computer has decided not to put on after a glance on the net (on my other computer), I found I had a problem call KSoD or black screen of death, therefore I went on youtube and made all the different things said youtubers can fix this how ever none of these things worked, so finally I decided that I would have factory reset my computer/windows to using the system restore. However, at half way through the installation of windows after the factory reset (my computer came with no disk Windows), my computer has decided to remove what I believe to be called a blue screen of death, that this happened before and I thought it was part of the installation but when I turned my computer on he showed at the bios screen , but then it said 'unable to start Windows. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To solve the problem: 1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer. 2. choose your language settings, and then click Next. "3 click on repair your computer ' all this is very well apart from the fact that I do not have the windows installation disc. I'm stuck at this screeni however have a disc of windows 7 and that he was going to install windows7 after I got my vista Setup! but the only I see is the bio screen so I was wondering if there was some way I could install windows 7 from the bios or simply delete the entire half installed this error files windows vista from the bios screen? Please, any help is greatly appreciated. Or get a new internal HDD would fix the problem aswell?

  • LPT1 in the hardware Manager, but not in the virtual machine settings. Parallel port software unable to find LPT. Windows 7, 64-bit and XP virtual

    Hallo,

the forum is full of questions similar to mine and everything seems complete without useful answers some time early last year. I would like to give a try today to see if I get a solution.

Have Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit and installed XP mode to be able to use the chip programming hardware (GALEP-III), which is connected via the Parallel Port. Downloaded XP mode later than yesterday (24.02.2011) Microsoft.

In the XP box, the LPT1 port appears in the hardware Manager. But it does not appear in the settings for the XP mode. The Galep software starts just fine, but can't find the PARALLEL port.

As written above, there are many people who have the same problem and seem to have gotten no solution. One piece of advice I found was to modify the VMC

    LPT1 (378 h-37Fh)

    1

The above did not work. I think it was for a different version of XP-mode.

Then there was advice on LPT need 378 h-37Fh. It's fine with my pc.

Then, there was a Council to stop the 'Print Spool' Service on the host pc. I tried in vain.

So, if there is a solution to my problem, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

(Note: I'm not interested to connect a printer.) I have an IC programming material that can connect only through a parallel port. It also comes with a security dongle. GALEP III).

    Good bye.

Have you tried in this more specific Forum?

Under settings is there anything you can do with the section of COM port, if it applies to your problem of material in the first place?

  • Hardware acceleration can be improved in the non support Windows XP?

I was able to diagnose my problems with the new windows that open instead of tabs and expectant keyboard following the indications of support: start in safe mode, removing the hardware acceleration, reboot normally and... .no problem! I would like to know if it is possible to update the graphics drivers in Windows XP - pro before going through the whole process (I'm not a tech savvy type). My internet loading is already slow as it is, rural DSL speeds, but I rather just be patient rather than to tackle the constant keyboard problems that have been driving me crazy. Please let know us if it is worth trying to upgrade or not.

Personal opinion, away from NVIDIA / GeForce video cards. AMD / ATI based cards seem to work better with Firefox that the GeForce cards based on the research I did in April for a new PC, I was building at that time here.

No problems with hardware acceleration or Firefox on Win7 32 bit with focus on the AMD Radeon video card from ASUS that I installed (~55.00 USD). But with Windows XP, you may never be able to use hardware acceleration, 'new' video cards do not support an EOL as WinXP operating system, and those that do may not provide enough in the long term, as Mozilla continues to twist HA in Firefox.
