  I also know that it is not a problem with the xbox controller, that I plugged into another laptop (also Windows 7 64-bit), as well as pilots very well on the other laptop.
  I'm really puzzled by this situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated, but please do not repeat the information or links I listed here, or who was in the last question which I quoted above. Thank you for your help.

  Here's what you do:
  1. plug your device and go to Device Manager
  2 right click on everything that your computer recognizes your device as (for me, it was listed under 'Other devices' and had a yellow warning sign on this subject) and click on "Uninstall".
  3. disconnect your device
  4. If you have not already done so, download and install the appropriate for your device 'Microsoft Xbox 360 accessories' program
  5. plug your device back on and go back to Device Manager
  6 right-click on everything that your computer recognizes your device as (for me, it was listed under 'Other devices' and had a yellow warning sign on this subject), but this time click on "update driver software".
  7. click on "browse computer driver software.
  8. click on "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.
  9. Select "Microsoft Common Controller" and then select your device. Have it install this driver. From there on, it should work on.

  The driver does simply not good.
  The only option to address this situation in the meantime a driver that works, disable features in ' Configure, Advanced tab "on the actual card.
  Different properties exist here. Try to enable / disable some of them. It helped for me on Win7 x 64 ASUS MB.

  Actually, this isn't just a "upgrade drive" it's a full disc of Windows 7, I know that I can install full Windows 7 32 bit in a separate partition for Vista.

  The problem is solved in any case, I managed to hide my Vista (C) install with Acronis and boot to the WIndows 7 DVD. It then allowed me to install Windows 7 64 bit on the other Partition, because he did not think that 32-bit Windows Vista has been installed on the HARD drive.   Having Windows 7 64 bits should not affect your ability to download contect for any game.  If you have upgraded your PC from XP to Windows 7, you may want to uninstall\reinstall the game and then try to download\install the additional courses.  If you have a problem to download, check that your firewall or antivirus does not download.  You can perform a clean boot , and then try to download.  If there is still a problem, you must contact EA support to see if they have alternative download sites to try.   Yes, you can, but you will need to have a permit for it if you plan to have both on the same computer.
