Somehow my system on Firefox Google replaced with Yahoo, which I don't want. How to return to Googke?

Yahoo had a part of something that I downloaded. I can't understand how delete it and go back to my Firefox/Google?
Thank you
Bill

If you change your homepage settings to:

  • Tools (or

    ) > Options > general

Is not permanently change your homepage, and then change your search bar (the bar to the right of your address bar) engine by clicking on the triangle down and by selecting a different engine, try the following:

  1. Click the menu button

    and choose Add-ons.

  2. In the tab of the Add-ons Manager, select the Extensions Panel.
  3. Select the toolbar you want to delete.
  4. Click on the button Delete.
  5. Click "Restart now" if it appears. Your tabs will be saved and restored after the restart.

After restarting Firefox, install the Reset search tool. This will remove the rest of the traces of this program to your Firefox.

For more information, please read delete a toolbar that has supported your Firefox or the home page search.

If your preferences keep get back, you can have a software that protects your preferences. Some anti-virus software are known to do this, so if you encounter this problem, temporarily disable this feature and repeat the steps above. For more information, see How to repair preferences that will not save .

This corrects the problem? Please let us know!
