  I spent some time the migration to a new development environment.  Among the updates of this environment has been the use of FB4.7, I followed the installation instructions detailed here on the forums.  I am trying to launch a mobile project very simple actionscript and have had no success.

  I'm trying to debug an application on the alpha dev device.  Unfortunately, during the launch of the app all I get is a black screen that appears, then disappears immediately.  I get no error message during the FB debug console and there seems to be no error output.  I noticed that when disappears from the black screen the debugging process FB4.7 is still trying to complete.  And after reaching 100%, I get an error message indicating that it could not find the device to debug against.  That seems wrong to me.

  Any advice or assistance would be appreciated.

  I had the FB 4.7 environment to work with BB10 and my DevAlpha so it is possible. And I didn't have to do a superposition of the SDK. Have you seen the instructions here:

  2 UPDATES have consistently failed to install since 12/16/10: update of security for Microsoft Works 9 (KB2431831) and update of security for Microsoft Office System 2007 (KB2288931). I tried to REINSTALL... and CONTINUED on for more than a week now with no result. I don't get the error messages or codes, so I'm not sure what to do! They are considered IMPORTANT so I guess that I need these updates and I TRIED to RESTART after update with NO RESULTS as well. The 2 latest updates only "UPDATED successfully", before the long chain UPDATES failed, which began on 12/16/2010 (as previously mentioned) were: update for Internet Explorer for Windows Vista (KB2467659) and Security Update for Windows Vista (KB2305420) someone knows what do to update failed?   I tried to install the update of security for Microsoft Works 9 (KB2680317) 2.1 MB since it was released.  I get a message update failed with an error code 646 Windows update encountered an unknown error. I installed the fix for windows update and it still does not work.  I hope someone can suggest how to get this installed update.

  I tried to run the program in compatibility without success mode.  Any help would be appreciated.

  Well, it's a problem. The only supported solution (unless you have a
  PC Backup) is to reset the computer to factory settings which will be
  lose all your files and software that you have installed. Pretty drastic.
   
  You can try this. Find works in the start - menu control panel (click on Classic on the)
  left side) - programs and features. There should be a button to repair on
  the toolbar just above list when Works is selected.
   
  You can watch it on the D drive (or whatever drive is the drive restore - it)
  can be hidden) to see if this file exists as a stand-alone file.
   
  If someone you know as a work you can fly the file from them.

  I bought the acer netbook computer in July 2009 of BJs with windows vista Basic and microsoft 2007 is installed. When I open microsoft 2007, it asked for the product key. I ignored more than 25 times because I didn't know where to look for it despite the evidence it contained. I discovered later by chance the product key on the bottom of the computer in a lable. Immediately, I opened works of mircrosoft and put in the product key. It would allow me to enter the 25 character. Instead, he gave a red message that the product key is wrong. Can someone advise me on how to activate the microsoft work 2007 and make it work with all the features. Thank you.

  Whenever I try to open Microsoft Word, I get an error that says: "Microsoft Works font cache stopped working" has anyone else had this problem and if so, how do I do, I was on the phone with Microsoft today for about an hour and a half and they couldn't tell me something all they kept saying was that it was an unusual problem I'm very frustrated, it's their techs told me this!   Recently purchased new computer Windows Vista. When opening am a message appears asking you if I want to download Microsoft Works, since I didn't know what to do, he disappeared. • Transfer of Microsoft Works

  I have an old laptop that is phased out in favor of the more modern. Both are on Windows 7 SP1. The former came with Microsoft Works preinstalled but it doesn't have this feature, and I do not have a disk of Works Setup. I guess that I could simply transfer the file work of the other computer on this one, but I'm not sure it works as the registry keys would not transfer and I could finish with the register in a mess if I tried to do it manually.

  I don't want to have to pay for the works everywhere - I consider that I did when I bought the old machine. Can someone help with this problem?

  This transfer would not work and would be both the license and the right to the United States and in most of the countries.  The license of use of the works is related to this PC with OEM agreement.  It is better to create your own PC to allow the software when you buy one with factory pre-installed operating or software.

  Your only option is to buy new software.  But doesn't that depress you, it is unlikely that the version of Works would work even on the new PC.  The software is interrupted, and support is complete.

  I would take the free road: download your files from work to OneDrive.com and using the word free online or even WordPad locally.  Sure, you could buy the replacement of Microsoft Works (Microsoft Office), but which is $65, you can't pass.

  Hi, I have a laptop running Windows 7 (I like it better than winning 8, sorry, Microsoft!).  I can't understand what the Microsoft Works versions will work on Win 7!  I have 2 different versions: Works Suite 2001 and Works Suite 2003, but I can't get one of them to install.  Someone please help - NON-techie language, if possible. I'm an old lady, not a tech person!   Thank you very much.
