  I just got my Sony SLT - A77, and I love it! However, there is a setting that confuses me, and it's auto ISO.

  When I use mode has I prefer to use auto ISO but on this device, it doesn't seem to be possible to specify a maximum authorized shutter time?

  It's really confusing for me, why even do you have auto ISO if you can't choose a maximum time of sutter? It is practically useless without it, and many cameras have this feature.

  Is this something that could be fixed in a future update?

  Please note that the A77 displays its ISO value currently selected when you press the shutter half.

  Sorry to hear about the situation and that you get error messages when you use the camera. You can try to solve the problem by doing a power reset. Please, turn off the power and remove the battery. The camera for 30 seconds. Disable so new and reinsert the battery. Check whether the problem is resolved.

  Just bought me a wich A77 I m very satisfied BUT I have a problem with the manual focus - it won´t work... I put the camera in M mode and return the front dial MF but he doesn´t release the AF motor so I can´t turn the ring on the lens. Have you tried different objectives, out of battery and 10 minutes, resetteng of the factory and so on, but nothing helped. Someone has an idea of what I can do?

  Thanks for the reply - sorry for my late reply. I tried with several different lenses, all the same. Finally, I went to the store, they where really confused - had never seen it before so I went with a new camera... this one works flawlessly so I m really happy now.

  This happens in all sequences? It shows that if you play directly from the camera to a TV? If the answer is Yes, it points to a problem with the camera.

  Or do you see it in a piece of footage? It could be due to a problem with the lighting. It is almost impossible to tell from the picture you have posted. Could you put a small portion of the video shows the problem somewhere so that we can see it?

  The electronic shooting adds an extra culture of 1.2 in video mode! After the shooting the extra harvest is still there! To avoid this extra crop in video mode!

  It is a big disadvantage compared to other brands of DSLRs where this issue of culture does not exist in video mode. When we spend so much on lenses (e.g. wide-angle), it is difficult to accept this dramatic change in the field of view in video mode, even after the deactivation of the electronic shooting. I know it's bothering a lot of users and potential buyers.

  Please address this problem in the next firmware update.

  Hello, I agree with you, this cameras need to turn off the video of culture when steadyshot is turned off, I own a sony A77 and I am disappointed by this function.

  Hey everybody,

  Not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes.

  I have a Konica Minolta MAXXUM 5 d camera for years. Recently, I started to have a black screen and "ERR" in the viewfinder by trying to take a picture. Sometimes after the first photo.

  Everything I read online tells me this is a common problem with these models. I tried to contact companies that fixed the issue, but none of them don't do it either. They have more parts.

  I called Sony support and they were very helpful. They said that they no longer support the cameras, and I was out of luck.

  All this camera or know where I can go for a resolution? I have a bunch of lenses for it, and if everyone does not help me, what should I do? I just want to take pictures once again.

  I hate to burst your bubble, but your Maxxum 5 d has probably reached the end of its useful life.
  You may replace an economic plus option and then fix a camera almost 10 years.
  By investing a few hundred dollars you can get a news and updates Sony DSLR that will offer you a new vision about the world of photography.
  And Yes, each goal Minolta or Sony A-bajonjet fit and work perfectly. I always use lenses, that I bought with my Minolta 9000 in the last century and will continue to use them on my Sony A77.

  I have lightroom 5 and sony A77 M2. Finally I solve it myself investigate other positions on the internet on the same subject. I clicked on the part of area of "copy of area" (right of the screen) to the modus of import and the images showed once again. Still don't know why the pictures disappear and hope it was just something that I was wrong somewhere. Before I had multiple tasks (moving files) in the background may cause pressure on system/software.
