Sony A7s. Problems in accordance with 59.94 to 23.976

Hello

I'm trying to change / interpret the film to run backwards in slow motion.  I did this for years without problem but this is the first time I cut with images of Sony A7s. As usual, I go into the Ctrl click the clip browser > edit > film and change my pace.

It works fine on some clips and other elements, it looks that I slowed down just an old normal 24 fps clip... This ugly choppy playback where all between them frames are missing.

So far, the difference only that I can locate is the file format.  Here is a sample of two clips, the info is in the first clip properties.

Clips that do not conform correctly

PRIVATE/M4ROOT/CLIP/C0023. MP4

Type: MPEG Movie

File size: 1.6 GB

Image size: 1920 x 1080

Frame rate: 59.94

Clips which conform well

private/AVCHD/BDMV/STREAM/00003.MTS

Type: MPEG Movie

File size: 136.9 MB

Image size: 1920 x 1080

Frame rate: 59.94

It is obviously not like that. MP4 or M4ROOT

Does anyone have a work around or any technical explanation of what is to distinguish it. MP4 to others?

I also tried to conform in the tools of cinema but which does not recognize. Clips MP4 and it will not open them.

Any help, advice or links would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you

I know this is an old thread that's been newly posted on, but I thought I would add that first now has a somewhat hidden feature is awesome. You can slow down even the film 24 p on a 24 p to 50% timeline and it remains fairly smooth using the new option of "Optical flow" first. It is in the drop-down list of the speed/duration settings. Choose which rendered and reading. R! Could save you the hassle of doing all these steps that you just mentioned to slow things smoothly. In any case, wear...
