Sony CD - RW drive from computer

Could use really, really, help, I'm not very well informed about computers and I could use the help of someone.  I have a Dimension 2400 running Windows XP and I lived what, in my view, is called a "Blue error screen" and was told to do what I think was called a restart syntec sorry don't remember really what I know I not rebooted my computer to the way it was when it was delivered to me.  In any case, my problem is I have computer upward and run, but I have lost my Sony 48 X Max CD - RW on my computer whenever I put any CD or CD-Rom either nothing will happen or it will say 'not detected order' so if someone could help me and give me easy to follow instructions I would be extremely grateful to you

I would like to transfer pictures from computer to flash player, so I can view it on Smart TV. Only option on computer is to burn to CD or DVD.

I don't see info on the version of Windows or the PC model, so here are generic instructions.

    (1) assuming that the flash drive is seen at the opening "my computer" or "computer" double-click the flash player - it should open up another window showing what, if anything is on the flash drive.  This window open, leaving now to find the photos you want to copy or move and highlight by clicking on each of them or a group (select more than one by holding the CTRL key while clicking the photos) now right-click on one of the selected photos and then choose 'copy' or and then right-click on the window open the flash drive make a right click "Paste".

    OR

left click and hold on one of the photos and drag the Group highlighted in the window open the flash drive, release the left click.

  • If I downloaded photos on my iphone on my hard drive from the desktop computer, can I remove iphoto library without deleting them on the hard drive?

I received the message that my iphone storage is almost full.  It is mainly from photos and videos.  I deleted the videos and have uploaded my photos on my hard drive of computer desk top of the page (which is a Dell non Apple products).  Can I now enter into the iphoto library and delete photos without losing those I downloaded on my desktop computer.  If so, how do I?  Thank you D

iCloud is a synchronization system, not an external 'hard drive '. If you remove them on your device, they will remove icloud. To increase the available space, go settings/iCloud/Photos and select optimize iPhone/iPad storage. That will reduce the space required by 90% when it is fully effective.

  • Is there a way to copy the drivers and setup of the drive from the computer and transfer them to the reader of the dead computer?

    Separated from this thread.

Is there a way to copy the drivers and setup of the drive from the computer and transfer them to the reader of the dead computer?

    Hello

You cannot copy the drivers installed anyway.

    Saving your files:

You can remove the hard drive and put it in a hard drive USB enclosure > plug it into another computer > and try to read and copy your data in this way.

    See you soon.

  • I want to move my hard drive from a computer with a motherboard dead to a newer machine. The activation process for Windows XP SP3 failed.

I want to move my hard drive from a computer with a motherboard dead to a newer machine.  The activation process failed.  How can I get the operating system XP Professional sp3 reactive?  I have the code original and other info.

original title: Moving the death machine drive

    Hello CarrolScott,

The activation problem arose because the hardware on your current computer does not match that of the hardware on the machine whose mother is dead.

The best option for the reactivation is to use the telephone line. This, unfortunately, is automated and may refuse to turn on your system; However, don't despair just rest on the line after the automated atcivation crossed its procedure and you will be transferred to a real person. Tell this person you've done, and it should be able to help activate.

  • hard drive from my old computer

I removed the hard drive from my old computer and installed in a connected hard drive USB enclosure but when I try to access the files of data (graphics, for the most part), I don't see them on the hard drive.  Both are running Windows Vista Edition Home Premium. How can I see what is on my old HD apart applications and programs?

    Hello

    1. what happens when you access the hard drive?

    2. you get any error message?

    3. is there a drive letter assigned to the drive?

    4. do the external hard drive work on any other computer?

    Please follow the methods.

    Method 1:

Check if disk manager the external hard drive is detected

    a. click the Start button.

    (b) in the search box, type devmgmt.msc, and then on enter.

    c. check whether the external hard drive is detected

    Method 2:

If a drive letter is not assigned, assign a drive letter and check if you can access the contents of the hard drive.

  • hide a drive from observer but not computer

Is it possible to hide a drive from the Viewer, but not from the computer? I have a reserved system area that received a letter from Reader by the system, and makes me confused when I see listed everywhere drive readers are displayed.  I won't try to hide this drive until I know for sure that I can hide without confusing the system.

I found this article on how to do what you want:
    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/hide-drives-from-your-computer-in-Windows-Vista/

To quote the article, "this trick allows to hide only the disc is more displayed, applications and the command prompt will always have access to it, and you can still manually browse to the folder, if you type the path'.

So the OS should not be confused by the fact that you do not see the drive.

    Hello

No, you cannot scan from computer to the printer. You have to put original on the glass and you can use the HP scanner on computer software to scan and save a document/photo scanned on computer.

My question: do you have installed the software and driver on your computer yet? You should do this first.

    Kind regards.
