Sony DSC - P30 and Windows 8

Any way to download pictures from a camera Sony DSC - P30 to a PC in Windows 8? Win 8 does not contain a driver for it.

The camera is not supported with Windows 8 operating system. Try using card memory of the camera in the memory card slot or a memory card reader to transfer pictures to your computer.

  • Satellite P30 and Windows 2000...

Please, please, please... help me solve my nightmare!

I tried all ways to install Windows 2000 on my satellite P30. All software and drivers are updated (service pack 4, dx9, lastes drivers, etc), but...

When the installation of the white screen of graphic Ati drivers (ati 9700) appears and it crash (as shown in the previous topic: http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=4136&messageID=13825#13825 - I want to reopen that walk but is locked)

The problem is that I have great experience in the software/hardware and I have installed all drivers (drivers omega, satellite m30x drivers, drivers ati, different drivers manufactured, ecc.) but the problem STILL persists.

I'm going to give up, but before that I would like to know, if someone here in this forum has solved this problem or if anyone really expert could suggest me other ways to install windows 2000 on this computer?

    Thank you!

    Hello

Nick is quite right. W2000 is not officially supported for this model of laptop, and you won't find a graphics card driver on Toshiba download site. I assume that you have installed the driver from ATI directly download site. In this case there is no guarantee that it will work properly.

  • Why raw of Sony DSC-RX100M3 air files strange in PE9 when flash was used in the shot?

I just bought a camera Sony DSC-RX100M3 and use in RAW + jpeg.  I want to use in my Photoshop Elements 9 raw files, having the Camera Raw plugin version 6.5.0.216 installed. I downloaded the Adobe's DNG Converter 8.7.1.311 version so I can import my Sony raw files into EP 9 because they cannot be used directly. Most of the time these files raw look OK, but when I use the flash on my camera and then look at the raw files in PE9 they seem much more pink than jpeg files. Jpeg files are more or less similar that I remember the scene when I took the picture.

When I look at the same raw and jpeg in Sony files have (version 4.2.04.17270) software Image Data Converter the raw and jpeg files are similar to one another and there is no colour pink cast in the raw file.

What I am doing wrong in Photoshop Elements? I have the DNG Converter retains all the information from the original raw file and makes no changes, so why not the raw file look so different when flash was used?

Thanks for any help you can give!

I interpret the differences that you see the difference between the Adobe Standard camera profile and that Sony made with the colors.

I can get things to look more like what you see in-camera jpg by simply changing the Adobe Standard camera to camera neutral profile on the camera Calibration tab.  I don't remember if PSE9/ACR6 has these available camera simulation profiles or if you has that Adobe Standard.  If you have the other, then switch to the use of one of them.

Here's what the image looks like in the last Camera Raw plugin 8.7.1 to PSE13 after having chosen the camera neutral profile that looks less magenta and more green as the JPG:

I think that part of your question is that you have mixed lighting where the light blue flash is mixing with some slightly more hot (incandescent) or (fluorescent) green color to the right side is hotter than the left side.  Apart from the differences in color, there is also a shadow in the foreground, perhaps caused by your sun visor that should be eliminated or your goal is too long to use a flash that relatives or something.

RX100 III said he is taken in charge only in Camera Raw 8.5 or newer, which will work in Photoshop CC.  In fact, none of the RX100s are supported in Camera Raw 6.7.

  • Sony VAIO drivers and utilities are not compatible with Windows 8.1.

    OT: Sony laptop Vaio question.

    Hello.

I was using Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium in my Sony VAIO laptop. Recently, I bought PRO 8.1 Windows and installed.

Now, most of my drivers and utilities VAIO is not compatible! Support for Sony is saying, direct installation Windows 8.1 will be loss the drivers and utilities and we cannot install drivers and utilities more!

The solution is that I have to install Windows 8 PRO and install and upgrade the sony vaio drivers and utilities. After that, I can do an upgrade to Windows 8.1 PRO.

So, the question is, I download the installer of Windows 8 PRO but, PRO 8.1 Windows key does not accept!

What should do? Now, I am running Windows 7. I need to upgrade to windows 8 and 8.1. Please help me solve this problem. All I need is to make my work with Windows 8 key.

    Hi Akhil,

Thank you for writing to us, we are happy to help Microsoft Community.

What is the model number of the Sony Vaio laptop?

I wish to inform you that the product key that is used for Windows 8.1 cannot be used for Windows 8.

If you upgrade Windows 7 to Windows 8, you will need the key to upgrade of Windows 8. The retail version of Windows 8.1 product key cannot be used to activate Windows 8.

However, the majority of drivers and utilities that are compatible with Windows 8 works correctly with Windows 8.1.

Please let us know the model number of the laptop, so that we can get the proper drivers and utilities from the laptop.

    Forward to your response.

Welcome to the community of Sony!

The camera doesn't have the ability to crop or resize the image. To do this, you can use the software House Playmemories to change the image.

  • My new Sony Cyber-Shot DSC RX100II and how to use it

Hello - new here and quite overwhelmed with this beautiful camera I bidded on and won... and do not know how to use.  I used point and shoot camera cyber-shot in the past and understand the camera and the conditions of very basic photography.  For example: I know that when I want the best shot on my ebay for details product, I go to the macro.

But this camera so much, I don't know where to start.  I am looking for the instructions online for the * thing and can't even find that.  I spent time on the internet looking for instruction but have not yet found.  I found an app on my Kindle HDX, which seems to be a good and will spend some time, but if anyone knows a good educational site for this particular unit who speaks English and not of photo-ese, I would be VERY grateful.  (and Yes, I know that I need to learn the photo-ese as well).

See this link to download the user manual and User Guide:

I recommend you get a book titled "The photographer for the Sony DSC - RX100 II Guide", written by Alexander S. White.  It's a great book giving each bit of the camera which will help you in your learning.

  • Water marks sony dsc removeal

I just found out that if I use windows movie maker to create a slideshow of images from sony to my a380 that they have a watermark appearing as sony DSC, is not in all images. First of all, nobody knows if
This can be disabled in the camera, second how can I remove the watermark to the image.

A friend had this problem with a few still photos of mine taken with my Sony a390 he was trying to use in a video. I did research online, but this is the only mention of it that I could find, so I did a few tests myself.

The problem is with Windows Movie Maker. For some reason, it seems to read some EXIF data as a legend and fills in the picture. It can be easily edited by highlighting and deleting, but it is easier to simply click the drop of Movie Maker, click options, click the legends and uncheck the box that says "automatically adds the legend when I add a video or a photo that has a.

Once you have done this, the legend of "Sony DSC" is more will be put in your still images.

  • Need the driver for camera Sony DSC-H300

When I connect it using the USB cable supplied, the menu of the camera trying to connect for a few seconds, then invites me to go MTP/PTP and mass storage.  Neither one works.  Device Manager sees the camera and she appears in the "other devices" topic like DSC-H300.  It appears also as DSC-H300 in Windows Explorer.  When I try to solve problems, Windows says it doesn't have the driver for this device.  Then he tries to get online, but he never finds.  He suggested that the manufacturer.  Sony support said that the driver of this camera is built into the (Windows) operating system.  Tried initializing the camera... no change.  Windows supports site recommends controls the Windows Compatibility Center "which lists thousands of devices", but the link just takes me back to a generic support page... no list of devices anywhere.  He didn't have a CD that came with the camera (new in box).  Also, I downloaded all the updates of Windows that I could. (I use auto update and I still, but I thought he couldn't quite).  Yet nowhere else.  It's ridiculous!  Windows doesn't have the driver for my camera and knows not where, or even what is the name of the file.  It is a brand new Sony camera.  How can the driver for him be such a mystery?

    Hi Ryan,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

According to the description, I understand that you are unable to find the drivers for your camera.

This could be due to hardware conflicts.

I first suggest you to run the hardware and devices Troubleshooter and check if that helps.

I suggest to try the steps in the Microsoft Help Article below and check if that helps.

  • Unable to connect Sony DSC-W650 camera to the computer

original title: Sony DSC-W650 camera woes

Anyone had problems connecting camera Sony DSC-W650 to pc via the USB with Windows 7 OS?  Very frustrating.  Beautiful pictures, just can't get off the bloody camera em.  Chat with rep online, no help to Sony since.  Downloaded software (since the plug & play does not work) without help.  Tried multiple USB ports with the same results.  Device Manager indicates I need to troubleshoot the device (appears on device like DSC-W650 Manager so it must be to see something), but zero.  Currently re-download software (PlayMemories) but I'm not going to hold my breath.  Help!

I would like to gather more information on this problem:

    (1) that you get any notification on the screen after connecting the camera to the computer?
    (2) do you receive an error message after you connect the device camera to the computer?
    (3) don't you make changes to the computer before this problem?

Perhaps, the hardware and devices troubleshooter can only solve the problem.
