Only the album 'Pictures' is sorted by date added. The goal is to help you find your most recent matter quickly.

View Photos of the library (Moments, Collections, years) is sorted by the date of capture.

Any other album is sorted by the date of capture.

You can create your own album 'All the Photos' as a smart album and ascending or descending sorting, for example like this:

  • Date added... 1970? (iTunes Store purchases)

    Hi all

Bit of a strange this because I am sure that iTunes was not around in 1970...

in my music main library I organize my files by "Date added" so I see the most recently added files, purchases etc. on the store upstairs.

I noticed my iTunes on my new MAC than all recent store purchases, (not the files I add incidentally) are coming up with date added in 1970, 1974?

Subsequently, this means that these files are now at the bottom of the list and not at the top where they should be.

the music was made only in 2016, too bad 1970 lol.

Anyone any idea what's causing this and how it can be solved?

    Best regards

    Simon.

No idea. I'm flowing into it for the same reason. I had to sort my music by 'update' to find my new music. See screenshot.

  • Photos sort by date in the Sierra

I'm working on a shared Album. I have my own pictures and photos posted by someone else in the shared Album. I imported the photos of the other person, so I can change them.

I want to sort pictures by time and date taken. The only 'option' is 'keep sorted by oldest Date added '. Option is in quotes because it is grayed out and there are no other options.

    MacBook Pro. Sierra.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

There is no other options with shared albums - they are only sorted by the date, the photos are added to the album

  • Photo 1.5 cannot sort by date

Using view then the sort, there is only one choice, "added keep sorted by oldest date." But it is not highlighted. The photos seem to be willing to chance. iPhoto allows you to sort by date without problem. Help, please.

    Thank you

    Grawingirl

You look at the photo album of all - it is always sorted before the date of the photo has been added to the Photos - View Photos is always sorted before the date of the photo and can be displayed in collections or the times years

  • Windows Media Player 11 Date added function - please stop repeating the date for EACH file.

I have been using Media Player 9, decided to upgrade to Windows Media Player 11, and the only thing I can not stand on Player 11 is how it sorts Date added media files.  In Player 9 when I chose the column Date added, the program would list all the files on a given under a SINGLE date.  With Windows Media Player 11 it lists EACH file with a date so that instead of see Tuesday, December 14, 2010 once and then listing all of the files under it, I see Tuesday, December 14, 2010 about twenty times.  I download podcasts once a week and dump it on my phone, but it's a worry now.  Is it possible to stop Windows Media Player 11 to repeat the date again and again and force him to the date that the list only once?  Think back to Player 9.  Alex

    Hi Alex103,

It's design in Windows media player 11 and it is also included in Windows Media player 12.

However, you can uncheck this option, follow the steps below:

    a. open windows Media player

    b. right-click on one of the sorted column

    c. click Choose column

    d. uncheck data added

  • Permanently expand messages received according to grouped by sort by date. (Thunderbird 38.3.0 on Windows 7 Pro)

I have my Inbox unified view > sort by Date, descending and grouped by type checked. I have to develop the individual dates, each time I start Thunderbird or if I go to a different folder, then back to the Inbox. Is there a way for dates to extend automatically or stay in a developed State and no default reduced? Thank you.

    Sorry krrath
My mistake; I should have read your information correctly, because you don't speak not a son.

I checked bugzilla and found that the same or at least very similar bug was posted ages ago

I would like to draw your attention to the last comment. The person has posted a workaround solution. Could you try and see if it works for you.

It seems that I found a solution for me. Now, all groups are developed, when I select unified inbox. I hope this works for you all, too.

    1. Select unified inbox
    2. view > sort by > threaded
3 view > threads > expand all discussions
4 view > sort by > sort group

  • Can I display calendar as a list sorted by date rather than a grid (for example, the typical calendars)?

Rather than the usual grid display, I would like to see all my calendar entries in a list, sorted by date, with those further in the future at the bottom of the list. Each line should include: date, name of the event, all the indicators, a link to an e-mail when it exists.

  • Script Date added and last played Date

Looking for a script to change the "Date added" and "Last played" in iTunes on Windows.

Doug AppleScripts have a "new last played Date" but unfortunately its scripts work only on OS X.  I checked http://samsoft.org.uk/iTunes/ , but it doesn't have the scripts I need.

Is anyone able to make of these?  Thank you.

Date added is not directly editable. The only way to change the value should be to remove the item, change the date system, and then add it back back. Different properties that are only stored in the iTunes database would be lost, although these can be saved and restored. The SortDateAdded script has all the code outside this to change the date system that I've always been suspicious of change in the case where they cause unintended side effects. LastPlayedNever makes it look like the selected tracks have never been played. Another script called SetLastPlayedByAlbum can be used to manipulate played dates so that it appears that each album was played sequentially starting at a point it time. It should be easy enough to add an option for fill-in of the playback start time if that's what you're after.

  • The "Date added" on every song (files) has been reset to an incorrect date. Can I get the correct dates?

If the above methods are too extreme for you, then no, there is not any way to edit "date added" unless you reset the clock of the computer to an earlier date and add the tracks for a new library.

  • Windows Media Player 12 'Date added' column shows only the current date

I have a laptop Windows 7 Professional and use Windows Media Player 12 on a daily basis. Given that I have download music all the time, I like to use the column "Date added" to see all the music I downloaded recently. Everything works fine great up until a week ago. Now, the column 'Date added' updates to read that EVERY song in my library has been added today! I would check back the next day, and all the songs would show that it has been added the day I checked on it! Is there a solution to this? I need WMP to display correctly the dates to which songs are added to my music library.

    Thank you

    Hello

    ·         Did you make any changes before the show?

Try the following and see if it helps.

    Method 1:

I suggest that you run the troubleshooting Windows Media Player settings tool and check if it helps:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-Windows-Media-Player-library-Troubleshooter

    Method 2:

You can also rebuild the Windows Media Player library and check if it helps. Then follow the link described:

  • Is it possible to add more dates on the sort by date category?

    Hello

I am my files via the sort by Date category, and I'm looking for ways to add more granularity or dates in it.
I'm not really happy with yesterday, last week, last month, 6 months and a long time ago.
Is there a way or a program that can add dates or classifications more to this?
    Thank you!

    Salvation in the shade,

The short answer is no--if you use groups only on normal records.  The options listed are the only ones possible (and there is no way to get around this).

I don't know if this will help, but maybe if you use libraries and then reorganize their place, you can achieve what you want (at least for everything that is stored in the library).  For more details on this (and on the grouping and), please visit: http://windows.microsoft.com/is-IS/windows7/Arrange-sort-or-group-your-files.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • How to sort by "Date time digitized?

    Hello

"I understand the differences between" Date time Orig ", Date time digitized" and "Date Time". I scanned images that show the original time and Date time digitized. But I can't find a way to sort by Date time digitized, only Date time orig. help, please!

    Thank you

    Michael Morrison

In the EXIF standard, Date original time is when the image was captured originally, i.e. when the shutter is pressed.   Date time digitized is when an analog image (film) was scanned (digitalized); for digital cameras, usually Date is the same Date time digitized original time.  The Date field time is supposed to be the last time that the software (or firmware) changed the picture somehow. LR is not well maintain Date time.

Date of the capture of LR usually shows the Date time original EXIF. (When Date time Original is missing, LR is trying to use other date fields, but it is buggy and confusing.)

Unfortunately, LR provides no method for sorting by Date time digitized. However, both plugins provide only ability: List View and the data Explorer.

  • Is the field Date added exist on E10 shared list?

I can see there is a date stamp field (Date added) exists in the groups of contacts E9 (when we look at the contacts in the contact group), which indicates when making a contact added to the contact group.

Is there a similar feature of E10 shared list?. If so where I see?.

    Thank you

    Ashok.

Here's the answer to your questiony at - it a way to see the date has been added as a member of the shared list?.

    Thank you
