Sort by field of database when using cfdirectory

I have the following code, but you need to sort the list by a field (sortID) my database (not a value from the directory)

-How can I add this?

-J' tried to add "sortID" underneath, but it has no effect?

-sortID is a field of type varchar 3 digits in MySQL

<div data-role="collapsible" data-collapsed="true">
    <h3 align="center">Board</h3>
    <ul data-role="listview" data-theme="d" data-inset="true">
      <cfset DirList = "C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\CRM\CCC\attachments\board\">
      <cfset site = ("https://crm.domain.com/crm/ccc/attachments/board/")>
      <cfdirectory directory="#DirList#" name="qDir" action="list" sort="sortID DESC">
      <cfquery dbtype="query" name="dirsOtherOnly">
  SELECT * FROM qDir ORDER BY sortID DESC
  </cfquery>
      <cfoutput>
        <cfloop query="dirsOtherOnly">
          <li>
          <a href="#site##dirsOtherOnly.name#" title="Click to Preview" target="_blank">#dirsOtherOnly.Name#</a>
        </li></cfloop>

      </cfoutput>
    </ul>
    <cfif ("sicr" NEQ "region6" AND #Session.kt_login_user# EQ "john" OR #Session.kt_login_user# EQ "bob")>
      <p align="left">Click to add attachment: <cfoutput><a href="ul_l.cfm?id2=500&id5=Board" data-transition="fade" target="_blank">Attachments</a></cfoutput></p>
    </cfif>
  </div>

Why would you want to order the result set in a column that apparently has nothing to do with it? In all cases, a solution is to get the sortID of the database column and add it to the charly resulting cfdirectory

Something along these lines

SELECT sortID

FROM TBL

SELECT * FROM qDir

ORDER BY sortID DESC

  • Fields get misaligned, when using flowing in subforms

    Hello

    I try to use subforms and I have three of them when I try to change the attribute "Content" on the object to 'place' to 'cast', the fields are misaligned. Help, please.

    Thank you

    Vijay

    "Flowing" subforms do not (as you noticed) do not retain the postioning of the objects.  You need for the layout of your objects, wrap them in a "Positioned" subform, and then wrap the subform "Positioned" (so the positions of the object are maintained) in a subform "Flowed".

  • How to store data instead of memoryengine to the database when using XML file

    Hi Experts,

    I doubt that in XML for transferring data from the database.
    Transfer of data from XML to the database tables will be store in memory for xml files, my goal is instead stored in the memory table engine
    is it possible to store the data in the database itself...
    I guess that when the size of the data increases say for example given huge amount, store as much data is the big issue here on the right, so to avoid this, is it possible to store
    These data directly in the database level.

    Please understand my requirement, either I have the explanation regarding my requirement and please help me how to do this job...

    THX,
    Sara.

    Remove the dp_doc = option Y of your url. It removes the schema whenever a new connection is created.
    If you don't want to truncate the tables, I think you should also add the option dp_tbl = N.

    Kind regards

    Orb iTunes turns when you try to sort Apps on Iphone s 6 using Mac and PC at different times. Applications do not appear to the right of the applications that are registered in the ITunes applications library. How can I solve this problem?

    Hi leon4444,

    Welcome to the communities of Apple Support! I'm sorry to hear that you are having these problems with your iPhone. I'm kinda not clear on the exact nature and scope of the issue you describe, but if you are having problems sorting or organize your apps using iTunes, you can verify that you follow the procedure described in the following article:

  • How to set up immediate calculation when using fields

    Hello

    Excuse me for the seemingly dull issue (I guess that's as well as I was unable to find the answer to this on the forum).

    I make a PDF with Acrobat 9 Pro form and I have this page with simple invoice that looks like this:

    item_price_1 * no_items_1 = subtotal_item_1

    item_price_2 * no_items_2 = subtotal_item_2

    ...

    item_price_n * no_items_n = subtotal_item_n

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    TOTAL = sum (subtotals)

    I have implemented the different fields and created formulas using the Properties > computing >

    While the Subtotals automatically fills as I click anywhere in the PDF document [after the filling of the item_price and no_items], it may not even for the TOTAL field - it fills only after I type a character anywhere in the form, no matter where and no matter what (even a space character works).

    However given that this form must be made public, users will think that the formula does not work because they can't see an immediate calculation of the TOTAL.

    Ideally, I would like the result to show immediately, but I could also go with a simple "click any where on the page update TOTAL".

    Is there a way to do this?

    Thank you!

    It is a very common problem.

    You will need to set the order of calculation of the form (forms - change fields - Set

    Order of calculation field...) Make sure that the total field is calculated after all

    subtotals.

  • How to create a database by using Visual Basic 2013?

    Original title: I need a teaching aid

    I have been programming since the beginning of the 1980s as a hobby.  I want to create a database by using Visual Basic 2013 but I have difficulty finding the information as required to fit.

    When I was with VB6 I used a book: beginning Visual Database 6 database programming by John Connell

    This book taught me everything I needed to know.  He used control arrays (I understand are now mocked) to define the forms of "state machines" which I liked a lot.

    I could go back and reinstall VB6 but I would learn instead to perform all necessary steps in VB 2013.  Can anyone suggest a similar book?

    I used the COBOL, FORTRAN, VBA, VB6, Basica, etc..  But through it all to adapt to new versions has never been so difficult.  I believe that the adaptation will be difficult if I can find a book that explain the changes.

  • Deletion of Images without using cfdirectory

    Obviously, all my stuff is stored in a database, and I'm out there. With whom is the link to an image that is on the server. When I go on my page to remove entries from the database, it does not remove the image. I know that I can do this with a form using cfdirectory, but there is no way for me to link the two, as far as I know. How can I tell analyze the relationship of the database to get the file name only, so after the news/xxxx.extension and then I can send the request to cffile delete. Any help would be great!

    I hope that he had a sense. If not post something and I can rephrase it and maybe throw code.

    Using listlast on the column, this will give you the file name.

  • Where do I put the AutoFill feature when using Firefox?

    You people do a great job of describing 'How to use Auto Fill'... but nowhere in this article does say WHERE - to implement the feature when using Firefox.

    How and where can I find the setting?

    Thank you.

    PS: maybe that should be in the article somewhere.

    What about filling the data in a form (input field) on a web page?

    See:

  • APEX on a database by using a different database security

    I'm new to APEX so please forgive me if my question is elementary or if it crosses also ignoring.  My organization uses APEX for the first time and you are looking to fill a specific role.  I don't know if we want APEX can be done.

    Here's what we want to do:

    We want to create an app of the APEX on A database.

    My APEX application will be used to modify database tables b.

    Users have usernames, passwords and access set up on the basis of data B.

    When users access the application of APEX, we want the application to use the database security B.  In other words, it connects using the IDs and passwords for database B.

    So:

    I go to the application of the APEX

    He invites me to the user ID, I enter one I use when I log on database B.

    He asks me a password, I get the one I use with database ID B.

    I click OK.

    Forms are loaded with the data accessible by my ID on the B database.

    Changes on the forms and my user ID is marked as one making changes to database b lines.

    In other words, I just want to use the database A to build and enhance the application.  Anyone can run the application, but they must connect using their database B ID and password to make changes.

    (1) is it possible?

    (2) how to configure in the application of the APEX?

    Thanks for your help on this.

    APEX does not work like that.

    APEX is nothing more than a bunch of PL/SQL code that runs on the database, it is installed on and run the code as "pattern analysis".

    Comment on "works on the basis of data"

    If you want APEX to read data from a different database, you use a DATABASE LINK

    for example to SELECT a report

    Select * from scott.emp@db2

    I doubt that one of the assistants APEX you'll love.

    comment "works like «pattern analysis"»

    If your application has an analysis of 'BOB' scheme... all SQL and PL/SQL code will run as BOB.

    The "DB"account "security" is more a misnomer.  APEX only checks that the entered name and password match that of the database that it is installed on.

    Once verified, APEX performs a 'switch user' for the 'scheme of analysis. "  (Authentication of proxy in Oracle)

    That's how web applications work... they use a shared schema.

    WORK AROUND

    Connect to the APEX by ADR, no EPG.  Will prevent it people to access the database directly.

    The next thing that you need is a SCHEME of ANALYSIS dedicated to the execution of SQL and PL/SQL.

    As any other database USER, it shouldn't be the same schema as the schema that contains all of your data. (Analysis schema! = data schema)

    Personally, I like to my 'space work [schema]' separated also.

    You will most likely need to use a database of private virtual control data access.

    Required Code changes

    If none of your code using the username 'USER' column, you need to change to COALESCE (V ('APP_USER'), USER)

    (I prefer to COALESCE on NVL because I anticipate different infrastructure that works similar to APEX)

  • Failback when using Etherchannel and FCoE

    I have an environment that I am able to dig in for the purposes of learning, but I can't it.  Since I can't make any changes to the environment and experience, I wanted to ask a few questions here.  I'm trying to figure out what that the failback option of virtual exchanges must be defined on when using FCoE and etherchannel.

    The environment consists of:

    • FCoE
    • 2 cards of CNA
    • EtherChannel
    • vPLEX
    • Cluster of metro
    • Nexus 5000

    Each host connects to a single vDS and each portgroup is configured to use:

    • Load balance policy: route based on the hash of the IP
    • Active uplinks: two 10 GbE CNAs
    • Eve & uplinks used: no
    • Physical switch is configured for etherchannel.

    The vSphere networking 5.5 guide says the following for failback on vDS trade option:

    Failback Select Yes or no to disable or enable failback. This option determines how a physical card is returned to active duty after recovering from a failure. If failback is set to Yes (the default), the adapter is returned to active duty as soon as their recovery, moving the daughtercard, which resumed its accommodation, as appropriate. If failback is set to no, an adapter failing has been idle even after the recovery until another active adapter fails, requiring a replacement.

    This evokes the assets & Eve links and since using etherchannel requires that all active links with no standby connection, this means that the restore option does not apply to etherchannel configurations?  Or applies to the way in which the load is re -distributed when a link comes back after having been conducted?

    For example, that we have a portgroup with two uplinks (uplink1 & uplink2), load balancing policy, the hash value of the IP and physical switch ports are in an etherchannel configuration.  During the normal operation of the IP of the hash calculations (http://blogs.vmware.com/kb/2013/03/troubleshooting-network-teaming-problems-with-ip-hash.html) are made and the load is distributed across the two uplinks.  Let's say the physical switch that connects uplink2 in goes down.  The ESXi hosts connected to that vDS immediately come into uplink2 equation which means uplink1 would only result in the calculation of hash IP?  What is the impact of the automatic restore option when uplink2 is back?  If failback is set to no, uplink2 still wouldn't be in the equation?  If so, how you would get it back in the equation?  Or when the link is up is immediately shot down there regardless of the restore option?  It feels like I'm missing something here.

    Also, I read that attributing no failback is recommended when using IP storage, because it can lead to port heartbeat that can cause performance issues with the storage.  But I also read that traffic to an etherchannel appears as a single MAC/connection address.  This recommendation apply in an etherchannel configuration?  Are port and MAC stir the same thing?  Or is beating port just at the moment where the link goes up and down and MAC beat is when the MAC's switch between two ports?

    Sorry if these are fundamental questions, but not being a networking guy and not being is not able to experiment makes it hard.  Thanks for any help.

    The Member State of the binding not arise unless the link is established on both sides.

    I agree with the statement portfast. All the links go to an ESXi server do not participate in spanning tree protocols. The goal is to transition to a State of transfer immediately on the link turning upward. This must be paid regardless of the use of an OFFSET.

    LACP will dynamically build the GAL and validate the configuration on both sides is correct. I prefer LACP (dynamic LAG) on any static sort of LAG, but this requires a switch on the side of vSphere distributed. If you have the VDS, using LACP. However, LACP does not solve the problem of covering tree (you still want to avoid using tree covering weight on the SHIFT going the ESXi host).

  • AF:inputListOfValues sets the value of the first item in the result set when using enter key or tab and component value autosubmit = true

    I use JDev 11.1.1.6 and when I type in a value in an af:inputListOfValues element and press enter or the tab key, it will replace the value I entered with the first element in the set of results LOV. If enter a value, simply click on the component af:inputListOfValues it works correctly. If I use the popup and find a value it works properly as well. I have a programmatic view object that contains a single transitional attribute (this is the view object that is used to create the list of the components of the value of) and then I have another object from view based on entities which defines one of its attributes in a list of the attribute value. I tried to use a base object view of entity to create the LOV to and everything works as expected, so I don't know if this is a bug when using programmatic view objects or if I need more code in the VOImpl. In addition, it seems after that first of the value being replaced by the first value in the result set that it will work correctly as well. Here are some excerpts of important code.

    Also, it seems that this does not work only if the text entered in the component af:inputListOfValues would have only a single game, returned in the result set. For example, given the result defined in code: Brad, Adam, Aaron, Fred, Charles, Charlie, Jimmy

    If we get into Cha, the component works as expected

    If we register A, the component works as expected

    If we get Jimmy, the component does not work as expected, and returns the first value of results IE. Brad

    If we get Fred, the component does not work as expected, and returns the first value of results IE. Brad

    I also checked that I get the same behavior in JDev 11.1.1.7

    I found a solution to this problem. It seems that, when using a view object programmatic that has a transient as its primary key attribute, you need to override the methods in the ViewObjectImpl so that he knows how to locate the line related to the primary key when the view object records are not in the cache. That's why it would work properly sometimes, but not always. Here are the additional methods that you must override. The logic you use in the retrieveByKey would be on a view view object database object and would be different if you had a primary key consisting of multiple attributes.

    @Override
    protected Row[] retrieveByKey (ViewRowSetImpl viewRowSetImpl, Key key, int i) {
        return retrieveByKey(viewRowSetImpl, null, key, i, false);
    }

    @Override
    protected Row[] retrieveByKey (ViewRowSetImpl viewRowSetImpl, String string, Key key, int i, boolean b) {

        RowSetIterator usersRowSetIterator = this.createRowSet(null);
        Row[] userRows = usersRowSetIterator.getFilteredRows("UserId", key.getAttribute(this.getAttributeIndexOf("UserId")));
        usersRowSetIterator.closeRowSetIterator();
        return userRows;

    }

    @Override
    protected Row[] retrieveByKey (ViewRowSetImpl viewRowSetImpl, Key key, int i, boolean b) {
        return retrieveByKey(viewRowSetImpl, null, key, i, b);
    }

  • Disable the Clipboard when using PCoIP?

    I'm trying to find out how to disable the Clipboard in customers when using PCoIP. I can use a GPO to stop the Terminal Server Services to redirect the Clipboard when you use a RDP session. It seems that if you use a PCoIP session, it is ignored, and I can still use the Clipboard.

    Also, I realize that I could use the adm of client file to extend my GPO setting on the client in order to block it, but customers are not in my field to the control. I can only control the environment of the view.

    Has anyone successfully been able to do this? I think it is a stopping point for me if I can't find a way to disable the Clipboard with PCoIP.

    The agent or client side.

    You can disable the copy/paste using the file pcoip.adm (1) and definition of the GPO or (2) to create and set a directory using regedit:

    1. load the pcoip.adm file: using gpedit.msc, goto, setting up the computer--> administrative templates, click on Action-> Add/Remove models and load the pcoip.adm file.  Then set the following parameters:

    Configuration of the computer--> administrative templates of--> Variables of PCoIP Session-->

    Not Admin Overridable settings--> virtual channels

    TO:

    -Activated

    -Unauthorized entry virtual channel list: mksvchan

    2 using the RegEdit adds/set the following key:

    HKEY_LOCAL--> SOFTWARE--> policy--> Teradici PCoIP-->

    --> pcoip_admin--> pcoip.vchan_unauth_list

    To "mksvchan".

  • problem when using setFocus?

    Hello

    I have a problem in the use of setFocus in the text field.

    When I use setFocus it contains the definition slider to the textInput field, but until and unless if I click with the mouse its not take keyboard input!

    Let me know the solution ASAP

    Thanks and greetings

    Aruna.S.N.

    the best way to do this is to write a function small javascript in your HTML page (who will choose the appliction - as is the problem; cant flex focus on the field unless u click in the appliction if your browser has chosen it) - then call this function javascript of your flex application

    in flex.

    ExternalInterface.call("saveglobalscore",score) ('setBrowserFocus');

    usernametxt.setFocus ();

    in the html wrapper page

    function setBrowserFocus()

    {

    document.getElementById('${application}').focus ();

    }

    (when the application is the id of your embedded flex appliction)

    This approach works perfectly
