  I'm not aware of any option settings to remove the emergency SOS cursor in the menu that appears on pressing them and holding the button.

  I do not think that you will be able to find one. There is no way that a third-party application could change the function of the power button on this way.

  You don't have to unlock the phone to make an emergency call. There is an emergency button on the lock screen.

  Try to press and hold the power button for about 6 seconds (if you have not already done it), and then pressing it to try to reactivate.

  Usually it's a bad sign if a full Tablet stops working and custom light up.
