• No sound notification or screen for text

  If this problem just started today. I have an iPhone 6 and I get no sound notification for text, my husband sent me but there is sound when I receive calls from him or anyone else. Another strange thing, it's that they are not pop up on the screen of the notification. My do not disturb is not on and my phone is not on the silence, I tried the assisted by inhibition/reactivate, restart and turn off key and none of them worked... Currently it is backed up to restore, but that takes some time. I hope someone else has a different solution.

  Thanks for stopping by Apple Support communities. Looks like you are having some problems with notifications for your husband's text messages. I use my iPhone all the time and I depend on having these notifications alert me on when a message arrives. I'll be happy to help you with this. You did some great troubleshooting so far, thank you.

  I see that you are backing up the iPhone. It's a great thing to do. Here are some articles that go on the backup and synchronization of your photos to the computer as well.

  The backup of your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

  Keep your photos safely stored and updated on all your devices

  Once you have the backup, if you could then go to the settings > Notifications. The Messages app, please drag the off slider to "Allow the Notifications" and slide it on. Also, make sure that you have some type of display in the "Sounds" section Please also check to be sure that the "Show we Lock Screen" is turned on as well.

  If you can then test, having your husband text you. See if the iPhone notifications notify you with the sound and appearing on the lock screen. If she's not always you warn, please reset all settings. This will reset things like alarms, light, background, passwords Wi - Fi network etc. You have to reenter those.   I can choose the individual sounds to the e-mail and messages + but I never hear them when an email or text Message is received. I have not had any problems until an IOS 8 update. I hate that, especially since I paid for one of these sounds. Any suggestions?

  I assume you have checked to see if you have muted notifications: on the iPad side switch - Apple Support ?

  And, if you have no notifications on mute, I tried the standard troubleshooting for example switch mute on / off, soft-reset/reboot your iPad?

  Right-click on the Volume icon in the Notification area > sounds > under program, scroll down until further notice by email, click on it > under sound position, it should be Windows Notify.wav.
  If so, click on test to hear the sound.
  If this is not the case, click on the pointer and scrolling to select. (Stick with Windows Notify.wav if I were you.)
  You can also click Browse and select a different sound. But believe me, the selections of so-called are pitiful.

  Currently, there is no associated action alerts vFoglight storage 2.0.  You will need to add the Email action to each of them.
