Sound problem on Windows 7 computer system.

Windows 7 is on my computer. Tonight, I installed a new logitech speaker system and it sounds bad. What should I do about it?

Maybe it's an echo or reverb is enabled in one of the two options of configuration - Audio

-Look in Control Panel > sounds. Click on speakers , and then click Properties.
Go to the tab to highlighted and see if the environment is checked.
If this is the case, then clear the check box or select another setting in the menu drop-down
at the bottom of the page.
If you want a more subtle reverb/delay audio select something like the living room, hallway carpet
or the mountains.

-If you have Realtek HD audio setting is located in the Realtek HD Audio Manager.
Here, the effects of the environment are found in the sound effects tab.
Is there an icon for Realtek HD Audio Sound Manager in Control Panel as well.
Realtek is the most common PC audio, but you can have another brand.

  • Problem on Windows 7 computer network connectivity

The desktop of Windows 7 ether net connected, I had selective network problems. I was unable to access the Web sites, but had no problem to update software and connections to the game servers. I ran antivirus and optimizer software to solve the problem, but I think they may have removed some crucial programs for networking.  Now, I am unable to access the Internet related services all via ether net.

I tried to reinstall the driver for network card to the motherboard. Among network cards, the teredo tunneling adapter displays an error titled code 10. I tried the REGEDIT fix and reinstall the driver.  None of these solutions so far have worked.

I'm not sure whether the mistake of teredo is the cause, but it seems like a common problem. Anyone know how I might be able to solve this problem?

  • How to re - activate the sound on my Windows Vista computer?

disconnected turn to replace, that system has not done well.  Connected to the tower and then no sound, had before.  Troubleshooting said that the sound has been disabled, do not know how to activate it.

We don't know what that you disconnected from that.

If you have no connection/disconnection when the computer
was up and running, it is possible that the sound card has been damaged.

  • sound problems in windows 8

Hi all had just updated and one 7critical a KB2962407 option that I've isolated a problem. Once I installed all the updates and rebooted the system, there was no more sound in windows media or real player player, or the system itself. There was neither mistakes nor was my cut in my system or the players sound. As soon as I uninstalled it KB2962407 the sound returns, has everybody met this problem please let me know if anyone has found a solution to this problem. I know that it is only an optional update and I hid it for now pending a response.

    Hi Sudarshan,

The update, you are referring is an optional update, which means that you can or can not install this update. When you face the audio without issue after installing this update, you can uninstall this update and hide the update if it comes up again for now.

This update is not a prerequisite for installing Windows 8.1. You can proceed with the upgrade to Windows 8. 1.

Refer to this article to learn more about Windows 8.1.

  • No sound since reinstalling Windows XP operating system

I have recently reinstalled the XP operating system on my Dell Dimension 3000.  I was able to get everything running except for sound.  Microsoft Fixit tools using diagnostic, I bought "there could be a problem with the audio device" as the feedback.  I looked for drivers, but I'm not sure that I might need correct drivers.  How do you suggest I proceed?  Is it possible that my soundcard somehow went wrong?  Should I consider a shop or is there something else I can try on my own? Thanks in advance.  Linda S.

    Do it yourself,

It has been a decade since I used XP so my directions may be a bit rusty, but if you take your express serivce number of dell and go to support.dell.com, they both tell you what sound card to have, and I hope to have a driver for it.

If they don't there is always a way to find information, but you will need someone with more recent experience of xp that I have.

  • Sound stutters in Windows XP for system sounds and video playback, but no error message appears.

When loading windows xp on startup, the 'Welcome' screen sound stutters.  Operations seem normal but can be slow.  Any reading of online video (such as youtube) stutters, sometimes worse than last time, but for any clip it's going to be some stutter.  Cannot find something wrong through Microsoft Fix - It.  May have started after that Windows updates have been installed.  Any help would be appreciated of course.

Finally found the solution takes a week, after trying everything recommended above (thank you) and then looking and looking again for help... but what worked was the solution found tohttp://winhlp.com/node/10 (DMA PIO found).

  • How can I turn back on the volume on a Windows XP computer?

Using a Windows XP computer, I sailed somewhere that had the ability to mute sounds. It is not the volume control, I checked to make sure that no sound is cut off or too low. I also tried to plug in my headphones to the other jacks, and I can still hear nothing.

Unfortunately, nothing has worked, and the volume remains silent. I don't know how to get back to everything I clicked, too.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.
