  I use Photoshop CC 2014 on Windows 7.  I noticed that whenever a font is missing Photoshop offers Myriad Pro Regular as a replacement option.  Is by default this Photoshop fonts for missing fonts?

  I installed Bickham Script Pro Regular on my desktop running Windows 7. I am addressing wedding invitations. I used this computer and the printer for other weddings and never had this problem. With the Bickham Script Pro Regular I can not get the correct size/spacing police. As I type this and with all other fonts, I used, the font size is very close to the size of the cursor. With the Bickham Script Pro Regular, the cursor is almost twice as large as what is typed in fact resulting in a larger space between the lines. The spacing between the lines is based on the size of the cursor and not the size of the current font. It seems that the lines are double-spaced and I can't bring closer together them. Can someone help me please understand what to do? I'm not happy that I had to spend money on this policy and now I'm not be able to use it. In fact, I discussed last night before I bought and was informed by the representative of the sales, if I got in trouble with the police I could contact support and he gave me the phone number. Unfortunately, this information was wrong because the technical support is not available for this issue. I appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thank you!

  It is possible to reduce the line spacing in Word (go to menu Format > paragraph), but as Frank said, the letters will start to cut above and below.

  

• Logic Pro 7 has disappeared

  Hi, I just found out that my application Logic Pro 7 has disappeared from my Applications folder. It was here 6 months ago. I still have the original installation disc, but the "install Logic Pro 7 app" is grayed out, although it won't let me install any additional content that I don't need. It's maybe since I installed Yosemite, but I rarely use Pro 7, but a client wishes to change a few tracks of 10 years, and I need. I'm on Logic 9, which will open the old way but he reconfigures them so that they need an hour per track just to get play them correctly. Is it because I've updated to Yosemite?   Yes... LP7 does not run on Yosemite. If you take a look on your startup disk (Macintosh HD), you can find an "Incompatible software"folder, with LP7 inside. "

  I have a Windows 7 Professional 64 pc and the Office of 2013.

  I bought an Opentype CFF font for use mainly in PowerPoint.

  I installed the police.  I see it and can use it in PowerPoint.

  When I turned off the pc and reboot, the police is in the font list, no more of TPP, not in Control Panel.  If I reinstall, he says: he is already installed (but not included) and after procedure with this reinstall the police is back in the list and I can use it.

  So whenever I have to turn the pc on/off I have to reinstall this font.

  Is there a solution to this?

  It now seems fixed.

  The problem is that I tried to change the attribute of the font AFTER their installation files, when I tried to do for the font files before installing with that there was no access denied problem and now I see the fonts.

• Why my fonts disappear in the box?

  Why my fonts don't disappear into the text box after that I am greater than 20 pts font sizes? I cut and paste the binary code, as I entered the Web in Adobe Illustrator cc 2015. I am first copy and paste it into Word. I use the font Tahoma "BOLD".  Once I go to 21pts fonts disappear. However, when I use the font Tahoma "BOLD" without copy and paste from another program it will go longer than 21 points.

  My text disappear whenever I just clicked to make a montage, but I found a solution...

  In the text panel, i.e. character/paragraph, click on the small box of horizontal lines at the top right. Now click on "reset character".

  Your policy goes back to a system font, but you panic... cancellation just hit until bring back you your settings of the original fonts... ctrl/alt/z on a PC.

  You should now be able to change your text without it in the process of disappearance. Hope that helps!

  The other symbol is for Typekit fonts. If you have not used the fonts in TK, the list is empty.

• Installed typekit fonts disappear in InDesign after reboot.

  Whenever I restart my mac, which is every day, installed typekit fonts disappear from the list of fonts. They always appear in the CC Office (which has just updated). The only way I could get them is back to remove them and then go get them again. It's very discouraging, and I hope that the bug is fixed soon.

  On another computer with a recent version of Windows:

  1. Create a directory directly from the root and give it a convenient name.
     For example, c:\ztemp
  2. Go to... \windows\fonts. Choose the file details view. Locate the name of the font on the list. Right mouse click on and select copy from the context menu.
  3. By any name called c:\ztemp dough.
  4. Repeat for all desired fonts.
  5. Copy the fonts to a USB flash drive or burn it to a CD or a DVD or transfer on a network, or in a temporary directory on the target computer.
  6. As usual, install them on the computer target.

  Note that if the fonts are already installed and corrupted somehow, this operation may fail.

• Satellite Pro 6100: cursor disappears in the upper right or lower left corner

  I guess because of the setting based on the device keyboard pointer cursor often disappears and is difficult to return to the screen. It is not possible to disable in the bios.
  Anyone have a suggestion how to disable this device pointer? I saw that the connection of the keyboard consists of two pieces of a part color Cooper 5 sons and a part of silver color. The colorful copper would be the device pointer and what will happen, is that I simply disconnect the coloured copper of the connector part? I use a USB mouse, so I did not need this device

• XP pro sp3 pc disappears from network locations after a while

  We connect a small network with 3 pc running vista home and a running xp pro sp3. Vista computers seem to work fine but a xp pro computer disappears from my network places on all computers, including to himself after 20 minutes, the pc started.
