  Last night, I upgraded our M603 printer (model CE996A) with to the latest firmware (2302786_433718) 5 - bin mailbox. Since then, all the print jobs started with the release of '1 output tray' stuck on the printer with the message "open the back door." If you do this, the print job print at the back door (just above the duplex unit).

  Output trays 2-5 continue to operate normally. Please someone HP investigate on and respond to this? We have an another identical M603 with 5 bins, but don't want to update the firmware on this as I suspect, it will break it's too.

  I'm sorry to understand that you have encountered problems with your HP product after firmware update.

  Try to upgrade the drivers printer or using the universal print driver - UPD, check if the installed accessory is recognized properly by the driver (accessories or simimar tab of the properties of the driver).

  Please start a pension with regional support of HP business (warranty or out of warranty), it will be useful to get the solution.

  Please try following steps in order to ensure a successful firmware update that will help to better understand the issue:

  Turn off the unit, unplug unit from the mailbox of outbin accessory and of any other accessofies (duplexer, tray for envelopes, additional LAN card etc.), turn on the unit until the LOAN, re - send the update of the firmware.  After upgrade, turn off the device, connect all the accessories and switch.  In the device configuration pages, check the firmware versions for trainer & accessories as provided in the README file of the firmware, test print to the output tray 1.

  I heard that there is a new firmware for the HP award.

  I connected the calculator for the HP connectivity Kit.   It is an update for both the Connectivity Kit itself and for the calclator.   He managed to update the connection kit, but I can't update the firmware of the calculator.

• Update the Firmware of Calc for the first HP gives first HP V13 recovery mode.

  I tried the firmware update procedure prescribed using the latest updates to 2015.   Calculator is V13.  Windows 7.  When from the firmware update the calculator immediately shows the first HP V13 recovery mode. and then nothing happens to the progress bar.   I tried the reset and tried several times, same thing.  Before the attempt of firmware, I am capable of a screenshot so connectivity exists but firmware update fails every time.  Any ideas or suggestions?

  Please do not follow the previous answer. It will make you lose your data on the calculator and probably not anything.

  You are connected to a USB 3.0 port? If so, it is probably the cause of the problem. This problem has been solved, but would require the calculator to run the latest version.

  Basically, the problem is more likely when the calculator "toggle" in the normal mode in mode 'updater '. Recently, with ports USB, windows stopped to reload the usb driver in mode "updater" on some systems.

  A simple thing you can try is this:

  1. try your method of update.

  2. once it is in the form "updtate" - go ahead and disconnect the calculator.

  3. close the connkit leave the calculator in update mode.

  4. now connect the calcualtor to a DIFFERENT usb port.

  5. Windows will probably appear a driver installion thing or detects the device, or something similar. It's what you want.

  6. once everything has stopped, rerun the connectivity kit. After a few seconds, you will be asked if you want to update. Click Yes and if all goes well it will run well this time.

• KDL46V5100 and new Firmware

  I downloaded and updated firmware ER4.12 - E328 on my KDL 46v5100 connected to Frontier Motorola 7216 - 1 FIOS box via a HDMI cable. Sporadically, he loses the image and sound after the update. Before updating the firmware to ER4.12 - E328, everything was fine (I thought it would help distorted blocks in the image).

• Update Firmware EA9200

  Hi all

  First time poster here.

  I have a Linksys EA9200 router (AC3200). Despite some not so great reviews on this subject, I bought like 6 months ago at the sale, and to be honest, things worked fine. Until last night.

  Let me quickly explain my setup before. For my wireless, I do not have the management group on. 3 completely separate SSIDS and used the 5 GHz 2 most. Our two laptops have adapters Intel Wireless Dual Band AC7260, capable to connect to 867Mbps. And which did not greatly. Until last night.

  Now comes chapter last night. I am connected to the router just to check what that IP got my printer and I saw that there was a firmware update available. (Firmware version 1.1.7 (Build 172584)). Naive I could possible, thinking that nothing could go wrong and decided to update the firmware. What could go wrong?

  After the router is reloaded, I noticed that my 5 GHz network 2 on channel 149 and the width of the 80 MHz channel broadcast is no longer. And my pc no longer connect to it. The other 5 GHz on channel 36 and the width of the channel is set to 20 (I use it) was there, and was therefore the 2.4 GHz (all in auto).

  I tried so many different things and finally was able to see my 5 GHz 2 broadcasting again when I set the channel width to 20 MHz. Putting back to 80, does not work! (Yes, my wireless adapter is capable of that. Everything worked fine before the update).

  Somehow now my devices connect only to a maximum speed 173Mbps. tested previously at 500Mbps consistenly used wireless (I have in theory 1 Gbit/s down / 50 Mbps upwards) have now dropped to 50 Mbps. All the time, I went to I love my internet at home for, I hate this router .

  I tried to return the fw as the router has an option on the troubleshooting page, but she kept this last version. I also tried resetting factory and got the same results after all reconfigure.

  I wonder if there is someone who has experienced anything similar or have any suggestions? I'm pretty confident that somehow the update have messed around with the router, but I can't even try another firmware as the only available online is the most recent.

  Should I try to contact support directly?

  Now if you can roll back luciobarreto ... do it up to Linksys comes out with a new firmware... If you look at page 3 and 4... you might get a few good infor or at least get to have a level 2 of you support call

  Hello. I am trying to download the update of firmware for WRT160N (HW ver3) for a router connected to a XP machine.

  I download a bin file from a Mac and the download page for show me, but I think that's a Mac - I need the (32-bit) version of Windows XP (exe file)?

  Firmware is not executable.  You downloaded the bin file, which is the firmware file.  Access to your administration pages of routers and fine to the firmware upgrade section and follow the instructions, and that it points to the bin file.

  I stupidly updated to a bad firmware. Instead of the firmware for the WTRG54GS I've updated my WRT54GS with the firmware for the WRT45G. :-(

  Try the downgrade the firmware with a older version if it works, then upgrade to the latest version. You can find them here.

• Update firmware for wireless printer?

  I recently bought a LaserJet CP1525nw.  It is NOT light and it is located in a central area of my house.  It has integrated wireless and I have a wireless connection to it.  One of my PC is an HP and its pilot of routine updates check revealed that the new firmware is available for the printer. The firmware update description says that it can be run successfully on a network or through a USB connection.  Of course, my "network connection" is wireless and I have heard in the past that the firmware updates should be made via a wired connection only.  On the other hand, I have never had a printer that has been designed to operate on a wireless connection.

  So my question is... is it safe allow the update of the firmware to do wireless, or do I need to connect the printer via USB?
