SPA112 & OSD CallerID and VIP722

I have a new SPA112 purchased to improve VoIP FAX.  The unit works analog phone lines and great for fax and for the voice of analog phones.

The ATA is deprived of a distribution end FREEPBX installation and I have after getting it works well, has recently added a source for research of the Cnam complete the CallerID displays information.

An output for CallerID is a dish DVR VIP722 receiver.  The handsets also connected to outputs analog 1 also specifically shows callerID information... Apparently, callerID long strings (or display formats poorly mounted) sent to the TV DVR for OSD (on screen display) of the SPA112 cause the TV in camera.  The TV must be hard-reset to clear the blockage.  It takes about 5 minutes each time.

The blocking source was traced to the Cisco ATA's SPA112.  I substituted a Grandstream HT702 ATA, which has a much shorter and less comprehensive set of configuration settings and note the blocking and absent TV OSD problems are solved.  The problem is that the fax has probably suffered damage...

Someone else noticed this problem and if so, what are the parameters to the Cisco ATA to analyze and/or shorten or better format CallerID information sent to the FXS port to eliminate the problems with the OSD to a dish DVR Receiver?

BTW, my Cisco ATA has the latest firmware upgrade... I use OpenCNAM for callerID name search. Also, it seems to work very well in my PBX to their database of research...

Unfortunately, you did not specify what is wrong with CallerID (e.g. character length or other can cause a blockage of the dish DVR Receiver). Is it not possible to give you a valuable advice.

    I updated my Win XP Home for Win XP Pro and installed all the goodies of toshiba from the home page. Two things do not work as expected if:
    * Fn + F5 is not scroll the screens available
    * The YPP middle button cannot be used as a middle mouse button

    Don't know why Fn + F5 does not work, all other Fn keys work as expected. They show the OSD, too. FN + F5 does not display the OSD menu and no service :/

    The YPP button: I tried the driver on the site of toshiba and synpatics.com
    The problem is: in Control Panel, I can choose functions to each button. The "middle button" function is available for the left and the right key, but not the middle. And it is not recognized as button in the Middle, but like PageUp.

    Any ideas? The laptop is a Satellite 5200 903.

    First of all I must tell you that the Satellite 5200 is a great unit. If I found one that doesn't cost a lot of money, I will buy it.

    For your questions:

    As far as I know if you want to use the FN + F5 key combination you must install TOSHIBA Hotkey Utility for Display Devices V2.1.0.0 - 1. I hope that this tool is installed correctly. If you want you can try to install again.

    I'm not 100% sure but I think that this little button in the Middle does not have the same function as mouse button of the medium, as a dial and it will be used to start the Launcher of sPad. If you want you can check it in s. manuals I've read n t, but I hope you can find a good explanation about the features of this little button.

  • Windows Fax and Scan "Sender Name" empty (Windows Server 2008 Standard)

    Hi all

    I am using Windows Server 2008 Standard (32-bit) with a RocketModem III card.  I have the latest drivers for the RocketModem.

    Using Windows Fax and Scan, I can send and receive faxes fine.  The only problem is when I see the fax, the name of the sender is blank.  I am trying to display the telephone number that someone sends me the fax to.

    I had thought it might also be under CSID, but everything I have complete options because it puts there.  I guess that means I want the CSID show for all those who sent faxes to me.

    It might be worth noting that I have active CallerID and you have a real fax machine that shows the incoming number very well.

    Does anyone have an idea where I could go wrong here?  Thanks in advance for the help!

  • Annoying flashing repeat me OSD Locked. How can I remove this?

    You did not mention the monitor LG model?

    Most of the monitors will include the lock OSD (on-screen display Lock) feature that allows you to lock/unlock the screen. This is usually controlled with the monitor on the front control buttons or the side of the monitor.

    I recommend that you consult the documentation provided with the monitor.

  • Remote control for Toshiba Multimedia Center

    Hello everyone!

    I don't know how to make my remote for the Toshiba multimedia center work. The only instructions accompanying the product as a whole were safety guides and a quick installation guide, but nothing about setting up the remote control. When I press any button on it, the Multimedia Center are turned on, so no doubt is picking up a signal, but it does nothing. The only button that sometimes doing something is the key mute. I went into the remote control and OSD settings, and everything is checked. Remote control model is the RM-1500 and I changed the sensitivity settings, but none of them seem to have no effect. I'm trying to use it with Creative MediaSource Player, which I assume must have native support for it, but nothing works. So can someone please help me how should I set up?

    In addition, to support the application in the settings, what should I write in the 'parameter' and ' start in ' field?

    I m not similar with this Toshiba product but I suppose that the remote control doesn t need to be addressed in the special order
    I guess the Source Creative Media Player is not compatible or don t support the Toshiba multimedia center

  • ThinkPad T450 - Hotkey features integration stops working after the screen lock

    My OSD volume and brightness no longer works after that screen is locked using a timeout or Win + L. All other information like the caps lock or disbale microfone OSD are still working, but brightness and volume bars are gone.

    I have the following configuration:

    Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

    BIOS 1.21 (taken from the site of Lenovo)

    8.80.05 (from Lenovo system update) keyboard shortcut function integration

    1.67.12.07 (from Windows Update) power management driver

    Intel Graphics Driver 10.18.15.4285 (from Windows Update)

    I tried already to older versions of integration function Hotkey and power management driver, but this does not solve the problem.

    When I unlock my T450 all services (On Screen Display, PM Service and Hotkey customer charger) are still ongoing, but I can get the OSD back by restarting the service of customer magazine (until the next Win + L) keyboard shortcut.

    Is this a common problem or is it just me? Any suggestions?

  • TouchSmart IQ506 video problems in Windows 7 Ultimate edition.

    I installed Windows 7 Ultimate without any problems, but my screen flickers all the seconds (20 or more).  It is extremely annoying, and I can't install the drivers, I have download from nvidia.  She telling me that this driver does not support this video card.  I checked with GPU - Z and it signals a 9300M GS and the pilot for the series 9xxxM says that it supports.

    HP, does not support Windows 7 yet, so I can't use that option and using the Windows 7 update of the generic drivers is not clear upward flicker no more.

    Someone at - it their system works properly with Windows 7 yet?  Please do not force me to Vista!

    All you need to do is search for your drivers Vista x 64 drivers HP...  Here are the drivers for your PC:

    You must download the exe from the HP driver and extract with winrar (right click on the exe Driver HP and select "extract with winrar") then run the extracted setup.exe manually from the src subdirectory.

    You'll want to install "summer 2008 Original NVIDIA Unified Graphics Driver" first and then followed up with the installation of the "NVIDIA GeForce 9300 M GS graphic BIOS and Driver Update"

    You also need to install the sound card driver (to get your microphone working), the keyboard driver, the OSD menu and some of the function keys, if you have a TV tuner, intall originally was 2008 and also update driver...

    Your PC will work like a dream with W7, no need to go back to Vista - enjoy!

    Is what I also suggest go back HP drivers after October when Win 7 RTM is officially released, I would say that HP will have updates the driver available for Windows 7 x 64 I hope to here here.

    I just bought a new monitor of 2159 m. But where can I find these 'Quick views '? I've been through OSD menus and I don't know that it isn't here. The manual does not help you, it comes, it lists as characteristic but said nothing more on the subject. I am connected via DVI if that makes a difference.

    Could someone help me please? This feature was a major decision-maker in when choosing the 2159 m above other monitors.

  • X 34 monitor LED "MNT STATUS" supposed to show g-sync power?

    I got my X 34 delivered today and very happy with it, everything seems to be working great

    I don't have that one query, that I was wondering that if somsone could respond, the LED below band has an option for 'STATUS MNT', which I assume means "monitor the situation", and I think he should change color according to the G-Sync is ON or OFF.

    However, it seems to be RED almost all the time, no matter if I start a game, with windows full screen game, etc., but sometimes it goes WHITE when a game is on a loading screen which is quite confusing.

    I thought it was supposed to replace it with a different color during games and g-sync enabled?  Any that Acer can comment on this feature please as I am unable to work out, and as such, I am unable to say whether G-Sync actually works or not, other than to have double checked all the settings in my control panel NVIDIA and other.

    Hi Locoz,

    You need to go into the OSD menu and go to the section of ambient lighting, change the color (which you have probably set to 'BLUE' now) State "MNT" and it will go RED when g-sync is on / work and WHITE when g-sync is turned off/not working.  It's basically useless but because it will stay red whenever you have g-sync enabled in the NVIDIA Control Panel and go white when you turn off, so I now put my green for aesthetic reasons

    You can run a self-test by following the steps below and see if there is a problem with the monitor:

    • Turning off the computer and the monitor.
    • Unplug the video cable from the back of the computer. In order to ensure the proper functioning of the Self Test, remove the analog (blue connector) cable to the back of the computer.
    • Turn on the monitor.
    • The floating dialog box should appear on-screen (against a black background) if the monitor cannot detect a video signal and is working correctly. In self-test mode, the power led remains white. In addition, depending on the selected entry, the following dialog box scrolls continuously through the screen.

    • This box appears during normal operation if the video cable is disconnected or damaged.
    • Turn off the monitor and reconnect the video cable; then turn on the computer and the monitor.

    If the monitor screen remains blank after that customers use the previous procedure, check the video controller and the computer, because the monitor is operating properly.

    You can also perform a monitor factory reset and see if it helps:

    1. Press any key to launch the OSD menu and press on to display the main menu.
    2. Press up and down keys to switch between the options in the Menu. When you move one icon to another, the name of the option is highlighted.
    3. Go to "other settings".
    4. Select 'Factory reset '.
    5. Check if it works.

  • Monitor Dell 02415... stupid mistake, I can't get on so that the implementation of new

    Setting up this monitor today with my Mac Mini for 2012, I have seem to inadvertently disrupted the input setting and cannot be changed again.

    I managed to set up and it was all working earlier today, and the only question is what I did!

    I was browsing the display of OSD settings and I think I have 'activated' the DisplayPort 1.2 setting.   He warned me something on the graphics card (I guess my mini Mac would hae appropriate card) and the screen may be blank. He did, and now I can't work again.

    Now, it is said that is to enter a message or says the energy saving mode press the monitor button to reset the input device.    The only control OSD, it will allow me to do this is to change the entry.

    When I select the top of the page 'DL' which is what he worked on before, it makes no change.

    It doesn't let me access the rest of the OSD menu to factory reset.

    I tried the unplug all cables, turn off and hold down the power button for 15 sec without change.

    It is a brand new monitor and I'e lost hours of my day's work, already - I'm so angry at myself for doing this and now I hope that someone can help me to get it sorted as soon as possible and all simply.

  • Monitor disconnects / off standby USB connections

    I just bought a Dell U2415. Large monitor, nice screen, very happy. However, last night I transfer files from a disk external DRIVE plugged into the USB port on the monitor. When I turned off the monitor to allow for the transfer to occur in the background, it will turn off the player. My data were not serious, but I found it a little strange.

    I looked through the OSD menu and noticed that the USB option in the 'Energy' was inaccessible. I discovered (via the manual) that this option is available only when you unplug the cable upstream.

    I would like to get this right. If there is NO cable upstream, and the USB ports are NOT connected to the computer, then the monitor will provide food to them in standby mode. However, when connected to the computer ARE USB ports (you know, if you can do things with these ports), then the screen completely disconnects these ports of the computer AND power in standby mode.

    Is it really the default behavior? Is it possible to be able to go to my USB ports in standby mode? What happens if I don't want my monitor on all day while I do file transfers? What was the point of putting the ports here, otherwise for convenience?

    I know, it seems like I'm ranting here and I'm little, but I'm really looking for help with this one. Any suggestions are appreciated.

    * No.

    If you turn off the monitor in sleep mode, the USB hub is disabled. I would never use a USB Monitor to transfer files. I would plug the USB HDD directly into the computer's USB ports.

  • U2415 flashes

    I have a new monitor of U2415. It is connected via the port mini screen.

    It flashes to black for about a second and then returns to the image. I tried to change the cables. I changed the resolution. And I ran through the OSD menu and all looks fine. My video card was working fine with a monitor 24 inch HP at the same resolution (1920 x 1200).

    Any ideas what to do besides return it?

  • U2715H makes buzzing when the brightness is less than 85 ~.

    My new monitor U2715H was beautiful, but makes an annoying Hum/Buzz sound. I found that I could get the sound to go by increasing the brightness above about 85. Given that this brightness level was too high for my application and the sound was distracting, I contacted Dell support and said it was a very unusual problem. They sent me a replacement monitor that I just was put in place. Unfortunately, the replacement screen suffers exactly the same problem! I found messages here to describe this same question in other models (U3011, U2312HM) a few years ago but have not found how / if the issues have been resolved subsequently. Any advice on getting a monitor which do not suffer this problem and/or technical explanations for why that should happen would be very useful.

    I will try to adjust the brightness ~ 80 to remove the buzz and then use a software solution to reduce the observed brightness.  This seems as good as the appropriate brightness swing the OSD setting and eventually consume 10 to 20% more energy, but can be a viable compromise.

    Dell Ultrasharp monitors so I knew there was a good quieter alternative to the U2715H, I would definitely try this, but the information I have suggests that this question may be present in 27 ".
