• I installed windows 8 on dv6-6023tx. HP support Assistant does not work.

  It's going to be an HP update, if so how long will they take?

  Hi, I have a Photosmart Plus B210 connected wireless to my home network.

  When I try to run the wizard on the printer, I get a script error (only, not open in Notepad), as seen in this post:

  To try to solve this I have done both steps of the solution 1 and 2 in this post (I'm on Vista x 64) and still have the problem.

  In desparation I tried also the recommendation of this post, suggested by Erico:

  I have uninstalled/reinstalled all the software and drivers, using the two Uninstall HP once, and using another control panel and still have the problem.

• Request for remote assistance does not work anymore

  Something has changed for Windows Live Messenger Remote Assistance?... or is something broken?

  Previously, we could "request remote assistance" back AND forth between two systems of Windows XP (SP3) - with a XP using MSN Messenger system (Version 7.0 [Build 7.0.0816]) and the other using Windows Live Messenger (Version 2009 [Build 14.0.8117.416]).

  And, previously, we could also request remote assistance in both directions between a Windows XP (SP3) by using MSN Messenger system (Version 7.0 [Build 7.0.0816]) and a system of Windows 7 (SP1) by using Windows Live Messenger (Version 2009 [Build 14.0.8117.416]).

  Now, none of these work for remote assistance request.  When the author of the request, click on "Ask the Remote Assistance", they get the message:

  "You have invited [so-and-so] to start Remote Assistance.  Please wait for a response or cancel the invitation. »

  In each of the above scenarios, the query end targeted computer sees nothing in their window of messenger!  (However, it worked only a few months ago, when we finally used successfully.)

  I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 Professional (which came with my HP Pavilion) to 10 (64-bit) of the window.   I have problems with HP Support Assistant - tells me that the .msi file is missing.  I tried to uninstall, reinstall, and he always tells me that the .msi file is missing and I get error 1639, error 1714 and error 1603.  I TRIED all the articles and tips and nothing works.  Please help and send me the patch or the link for the fix to [personal information deleted].

  Try using revo uninstaller or geek uninstall to uninstall the previous version first.

  Then, try again to install the new version of HP Support Assistant from the link I posted.

  Firstly, uninstall your current version of HP Support Assistant using Microsoft 'Fixit' at the following link: this is particularly useful for correcting problems that may prevent resettlement on the machines running a 64 bit OS.

  I have a desktop mac 2011 mid running on El captain. I have partitioned my Mac several years ago and now want to get rid of him, that I no longer use it. Unfortunately when I try to open the Bootcamp assistant, it gives just the message "This Mac doesn't support Boot Camp" and there is no other Wizard Bootcamp on my mac.   The error indicates that registry is broken perhaps that some entries are defective who knows
  I recommend you to uninstall this software first.

  Then you must clean and repair the registry by using a special tool. I use CCleaner.
  Its freeware and also repairs the registry entries.

  CCleaner also run several times after a reboot.
  Then you could try to reinstall these tools.
